I think the whole its only serenity line is because he was still depressed at having to hotshot his story in order to end it in a film rather than getting to actually develop it over 5+ seasons
I keep rewatching the series every now and then, and then the movie, and then every behind the scenes footage, or panel video I can. I just cycle through them, and always find myself wanting more, and coming back, and not finding any. It's a really sad feeling to know that we'll probably never get another episode of this show.
I'm 60yrs old. I remember the the 3rd season of Star Trek being on so late I had to bargain to watch it. The Firefly cast was the best sci-fi ensemble since original Trek. To me, it is visually obvious. It's so 'there'. The episodes were uneven but the chemistry of the characters/players was putting it's mark on the entire show by the 3rd-4th filmed show. Cpt. Reynolds would have gone down in sci-fi history. As it is, my pantheon is the great trio of Kirk-Sheridan-Malcolm Reynolds. Can't lose with those guys.
This film for me is more awesome now that I know that Chad Stahelski was the stunt coordinator for the film. Knowing he later on did John Wick and is doing the Highlander remake.

I have never played Halo myself (I'm not coordinated enough to lol) but I watched my mates playing it and then screamed when I recognised their voices :D
yep Nathon's in a few halo games. in one he's even known as sgt reynolds. Also Adam's character says "get a taste of Vera" his favorite rifle from Firefly
Actually it was really just tongue in cheek - considering how Fox treated him. The fact that he always called Firefly his "baby" and that working on it was "a dream come true" kinda outweighs a little jab at the network that killed his "baby".

No, Nathan Fillion as charismatic as he is, he isn't han solo. Mal is his own man, with more loyalty and agression also he is much more damaged. He should bring the character of Malcom Renolds to star wars.
