Hi Emanuel I want to ask you something regarding Vapp calculations as far as I know Vapp is Vref plus 1/3 of headwind which then will be our approach speed. on 13:37 you said if we have 16knots wind gusting 20kt we will add 8kt to vref, I see we need to add 6kt not 8kt as the 1/3 of 16 is around 5 and for the 20 it's around 7 I took the number in between. However, if the wind is only one value as 21kt for instance I will add 7kt on Vref so my Vapp will be my vref plus 7kt.
At 3:36 mins, the FMC shows the ACT ECON CRZ with the "TO T/D" ETA & Distance. However, in my FMC it does not show the "TO T/D". Is this something that shows closer to arrival, or at what point? Thanks.
Sometimes I use my laptop to record something in a layover. Especially in those timezones where you wake up at 2AM local time and just can't do anything.
Can't wait for the written version and full-flight videos and live streams.
Good job!
Hopefully soon!
Great explanation. Can't wait for the approach tutorial!
Out now!

Great tutorials. But where can i find/buying you ebook.
Great tutorial and realism! Why are the Vref speeds calculated by the performance tool different than the ones calculated by the FMC?
I dunno
Thanks a lot. Not sure I will do all that ! LOL

I see the TO T/D appears closer to arrival around 200+ distance in NM.
Question about Auto Brake: Are they mandatory on the 777 or is it on pilot‘s discretion to use them? Or does it depend on the respective airline?
Ultimately it depends on the airline, but Boeing strongly recommends to use them.
06:55 That hand looks like severed. Kinda scary 😁
at 02:42 where do you see what runway is in use?
Whichever runways have a headwind are probably the ones being used
Great, can I ask you how you noticed that RW 27 was in use? ( only checking by the weather info ) Thanks!
Hi, if you are unsure about the runway based on the winds I can very much recommend to check Flight Radar 24 to see where they currently land on.
@@A330Driver but I need to be lucky that on that time someone is landing 🛬 😀 thanks!
@@mic83hele Find online sources for ATIS, or get Navigraph, or check VATSIM if they have theirs being used.
@@A330Driver Only paid version of FR24 gives you Wind overlay on the map unfortunately
Where do you enter Vref Add in the fmc?
You can't.
@@A330Driver So on landing we apply the 147KTS? or do we fly at 142kts at the landing?
@@CTRBvideos We gotta wait for the next part i guess. Looking forward to it:)

👍👍👍
do you record videos while you fly?

@@A330Driver nice
I wish there were Turkish subtitles in the videos🥲
I'm sorry, my Turkish skills are limited to some words you really shouldn't use on the internet.
@@A330Driverlmao im turkish as well, we like to teach people those sort of words first 😂
