When I first starting playing D&D I played this exact style, Aizawa is my favorite anime character and I wanted to play as him in my first ever campaign. Love this build
I wish I had a cool character I based my first character off of, but I had no idea what I was doing for my first character, it was a bit of a mess but I loved him lol
I wanted to try to pull of a hardcore counterspell build while leaning into my love for My Hero Academia with Aizawa/Erasure/Eraserhead, is there a better way I could have done this build? 😬EDIT: I literally said "one non-physical skilll" and then chose acrobatics, so a slight screw up there lol
I really like that as flavor, the only issue is that I try to stick with my videos being as close to rules as written as possible, just so that way it's allowed at more tables, but if it was up to me I would be home brewing way more stuff lol
I think I've gotten a couple requests for him, but I would definitely need to do a little bit of digging because I'm not overly familiar with the character, but he's definitely on my list either way
@@dndbuilds I know I'm a bit late but i think that a good startimg point for Asura is a way of the astral self monk. Asura Is a really powerfull character, arguing stronger then Kratos, so It Will certanly be a hell to build It, but I'll wait.
Damn, I really like this build. I have not dabbled into wizard that much, so I didn't know how powerful this kind of build would be. If you plan on doing more My Hero Academia builds, I'd love to see what you would do for All Might, All for One, and even some of class 1-A or class 1-B.
I do have another Naruto video coming up very very soon, but it's for a different character, although I could definitely look at doing kissame in the future

Can you pls try making a build for one of the kenpachi from (bleach) I've been trying make a build kenny but allow felt like I was doing it wrong or could have done better pls take this in to consideration.
I really like this build! This one focuses more on the Counterspell than the other abilities and Combat Prowess on Aizawa. I actually had one that focuses more on the combat ability w/ Counterspell. Kensei Monk (5) / Hexblade Warlock (1) / College of Lore Bard (14) Why that odd build? It's my weird attempt at making Whips semi-viable. I flavored Aizawa's weapon as a Whip, which can be a Monk Weapon through Kensei, AND... through Hexblade you can use Cha as the Attack Modifier through Hex Warrior. Therefore upgrading a Whip from a D4 to a D6. Not AMAZING, but better than a D4. The rest in Bard, allows me to get Jack of All Trades in my Counterspell, plus my own Bardic Inspiration as a College of Bard into the Counterspell Check
Honestly this build is just me being stubborn about using a Whip, but you would have better luck by just being an Astral Self Monk / Lore Bard. Flavor your Astral Arms as your Binding Cloth and use Bardic Inspiration to boost your Counterspell. Or even going like your video and taking 15 Levels in Abjuration Wizard instead.
love the build, but I think you missed the mark a bit. maybe 19 wizard, 1 artificer. it's hard to pass up the 9th level spell slot. in this case for foresight, you still get resilient constitution at 16, eldritch adept at 19 for armor of shadows so you always have the arcane ward. spell mastery for hold person and shield. Artificer 1 gives you the guidance cantrip along with thorn whip which is a good attack roll cantrip.
Yeah that's definitely a good alternative, and definitely would be much more optimized, I just kind of liked the feel of cleric of order, and in general i don't feel he is much of an artificer as far as the theme of the build, but I can definitely see some of the abilities working well
I was planning on doing a Titan build for attack on Titan, doing Levi might be a bit of a challenge, only because I'd really have to try to sort out his ability to swing, but I think I have something in mind for it

I like to play more support characters when i can and this seems like the ultimate support build
I as a DM give whips a bonus action grapple or pull, combined with switching the damage from slashing to bludgeoning you get his scarf.
