Become the guardian of Hyrule in Dungeons and Dragons (D&D 5e)
Zelda is such an iconic part of Video Game history, that it felt like only a matter of time before we ventured into Nintendo's Hyrule and made Zelda and Sheik as a playable character. No matter what version of the Legend of Zelda you wind up playing, whether it's Breath of the Wild, Orcarina of Time, or one of the many others. I think should fit pretty well as far as a build.

I just wanted to point out the fact that Zelda not getting into Monk until later levels actually reflects her story pretty accurately. She didn't start training as a Shiekah until later, after Impa escaped with her from Ganondorf
Clerics go quite well with monks. I love mixing grave cleric and sun soul monk, super fun anti undead combo. I also made a paladin-monk in 3.5 that did similar things with a special prestige class that could summon holy flames on their limbs to fight.
That is a super solid anti undead combo, never thought about the radiant damage plus the destroy undead... might use that later.
@@dndbuilds It's definitely fun. I think another creator used Grave Cleric and Sun Soul Monk to make Luigi, which is kinda hilarious. I just like the versatility of the monk combined with the cleric's incredible magical prowess. Plus Monk makes for great multiclass builds at level 6 or 14, depending on what you want.
Well explained. As Batman can be build in many ways, so does Zelda. A sacred cleric healer, a divine sorcerer, your monk/Rogue MC, or even a fey bard... You made a great point focusing on one of her appearances. I like you choosed the less "damsel in distress" style to kick some 🤐
Divine soul sores for combined with rogue would have been another great option, I didn't even consider that one before, but if I had leaned more into charisma then wisdom it would have been awesome
@@dndbuilds Hard choice, sorcerer/monk or rogue would add a thrid main stat (CHAR) to the needed Dex and Wisdom for monk
Considering Zelda canonically gets her power from her bloodline, I would actually go Divine Sorcerer. Cool video though!
ive seen two excellent zelda builds recently! yours and another one that focused heavily on her smash moveset - that being an arcana cleric/astral self monk! this build is really cool if you wanna play as both zelda and shiek, and its a super fun one
Thanks, I'm glad you liked it so much 😀
day 2 of asking for Tsuna from Hitman Reborn in DnD pls
I enjoyed this build. It just gave me an idea for an npc for my current campaign. Just for fun I'd try to build in the Darkness spell to somewhat act like her "flashbang" she disappears with. Can't wait for the next build.
Yeah, I should have mentioned that about the flashbang, I think that's a perfect way to recreate that.
Could you do Ragna the Bloodedge or Yuki Terumi from BlazBlue, I'm really interested with what DnD builds for them would be like but I don't know enough to guess myself
... Have you seen the film SISU yet?
I read that despite being distributed by Sony, it's coming to Netflix around July or October this year.
July or October? that's a big difference lol
You should do a zenitsu build with nine levels in wizard bladesinger nine levels in rogue scout and two levels in sorcerer draconic blood line with a feat for meta magic initiate it’s an amazing build and I want to see you make a video on it
7:52 Considering that you can swap out race proficiencies via Tasha's Cauldron of Everything, an option would be to swap out the High Elf's Shortsword proficiency (which you will get from multiclassing into a Monk anyway) to a Whip
agreed, I would also try to get her proficiency with a lyre, because both Zelda and Shiek commonly play one (I know it's called a harp in-game, but by every definition her instrument is a lyre)
You know what though? I think BotW/TotK Zelda gets to be an Int based Artificer with some points in Wisdom. Possibly an Artillerist so she can summon a Guardian. I think if we run off AoC that's basically her moveset right? BotW Zelda is a massive historian who in a pinch can hack a good strategy together when things go South.
I'd love to see a D and D Build of Black star from SoulEater I feel like that would be interesting
I like this build I think you did an incredible job of combining the two classes, however I personally prefer the idea of going Monk first and than Cleric because by the time of you become Monk your unarmed strikes are useless against monsters due to the fact that most monster that you'll be fighting at your level have either resistance or immunity to non-magical damage.
I was kind of surprised to see Monk instead of Rogue as I always felt like Shiek was a bit more of a ninja granted she definitely used her unarmed strikes over weapons most of the time in smash and stuff like daggers you do have proficiency in due to the fact that it is a simple weapon so it is fine. I like either Rogue or Monk however Monk has a little more synergy and makes more sense to be in conjunction with a Light Domain Cleric.
I understand why you chose the Mobile feat however there is one feat you can never go without if you're a true ninja, ALERT! The Alert feat as you probably know gives +5 to your Initiative, immunity to being surprised as long as you're conscious and creatures don't gain advantage to attacks against you if you can't see them.
ASTV is quite a popular and successful movie and a great addition to the trilogy and given its recency I was wondering if you could make a set for a character from that? I don't mind which one because I'm pretty sure they could all make for great sets such as The Spot, Miguel, the Spider-Gang members also all seem to be very diverse in their powers as far as Spider-Totems go and while the Spider-Society are relatively the same there are of course unique stand out members such as Web Slinger and Peter Parkedcar.
What about the Hat of Disguise use At-Will use of Disguise Self to switch between Shiek and Zelda?
Oh that's a solid idea!
could you do:
-Zatanna
-Etrigan the demon
-the darkness (image comics)
Where are these neat animations from? They don't look in-game. Did someone make their own Blender series? Does anyone have a link to it? I'd like to take a look please
The Zelda franchise has always rolled a nat one in trying to convince me to play them I haven't really enjoyed any of them I tried breath of the wild and it didn't grab me. Zelda probably rolls nat 20's in religion a lot given her holy arrows I've learned she has
Indeed I'm sure she probably does
Start with the best game if you wanna give zelda a try, and the best game is a link to the past
Try the others. Each of them are different. A Link To The Past or Ocarina Of Time are worth going to first.
Cid Kagenou/Shadow from Eminence in Shadow?
Seven Deadly Sins: Meliodas next? Maybe?
What are those animated segments like the one @11:30?
I think MegaMan might be an interesting one to make.
Kumoko day 6
I find it a little weird that Zelda builds seem to usually include Shiek, even though Shiek was only in Ocarina of Time, and never appeared in any other mainline Zelda games. It would be if every Link build gave the ability to turn into a wolf, even though that also appears only in one Zelda game as well.
EDIT: BOTW Zelda starts off more as an artificer or wizard. It was a plot point that she had a lot of difficulty unlocking her cleric levels.
