It didn't. That valve was the reason the engine wouldn't start, so I replaced both intake valves with new valves. I just practiced cleaning it on the bent valve.
No special tool required. You just need to remove a cover plate on the front and then the spindles just slide out the front allowing you to pull the rocker arms up and out. Take a look at 7:04 in the video where I put them back in, and just do the reverse.
Thanks for the comment. This will be coming up soon actually. I have been away for three weeks. But I will be putting the radiator back on and filling with coolant in the next couple of weeks.
@@oliverupham6106 I will do a dedicated video on it when I can. But in the mean time get a copy of the service manual. Its pretty straight forward: www.yam-r125.net/changing_the_coolant-142.html
0:40 look at the valve how crooked it is when you turn it. It's amazing that the engine started with such a crooked valve.

@@shakal615234 Thats ok buddy! I hope you are enjoying the videos.
@@StokedBuilds Sure ;) I have a YZF R125 and I was replacing the cylinder due to poor compression.
How did you get the rocker arms off?.
Do I need a special tool ?

i Have done 4:17 its mad that it fixes the valve seating
I know. The fact that gritty grease can file away the bare metal is mind blowing. But. It works!
Do you think you could do a video on changing coolent on the yzf ?

Thank you as I have a yzf myself and wanting to change the coolant myself

Hi bud is it safe to do the vavle clearance the way you did ty
Absolutely. As long as you get the clearances right according to the service manual, you are golden.
