Quick FYI: there's a demo of Atomic Heart on Steam (played that in VR via UEVR and it was amazing) and the full game is also included in the XBox Game Pass.
My GOTY was Vertigo 2, I was really surprised it was not in anyone's top 3. Go play it :P (I played on easy and had no problems with difficulty and there's an even lower difficulty level "story" which is really easy).
Yeah, I might lower it down just to get past certain sections. I had to lower AS2 down to easy for just that bridge section which I think you mentioned as well.
@@ImmersedRobotyeah, I finally pushed through on normal but I was this close to lowering the difficulty. I honestly think that Vertigo 2 is best VR game of 2023 but admittedly I did not play AW2. And I know Vertigo 2 was insanely unbalanced on release, I played it very recently with all the bossfight nerfs patched in. /SimplexPL
Sony Semicon makes the displays for the Apple Vision Pro. The AVP display is built on a custom designed substrate from TSMC, OLED fabbed by Sony. The display in the Sony headset is wholly built by Sony.
I think the Sony HMD looks very promising, but the controllers are too specific. I build Concept cars with Gravity Sketch either on Quest or Index and you need all the buttons you can get to navigate modelling software. This is the weird thing with Apple Vision Pro. It is basically a Mac Book Pro for your head, but without controllers, it limits itself to just an iPhone for your head. I also dabble with music and video and the Apple Vision Pro is very appealing from the point of view of processing power and screen real estate, but I need buttons and physical control surfaces to get the same results as a laptop.
Yeah - maybe that doesn't translate well as a phrase elsewhere?! Or maybe "hammered the flat version" might have come across better! Oh, I don't know - none of it sounds how I meant it now 🤣
Don't feel shame about having a 4090 Steve, I think hardware is a lot cheaper over there. Was your home theatre on AVSForums, It looks amazing if thats it.
Trust me I see it.. But it wasn't as prominent for me in Res 4. Could I have played the game and enjoyed it? Absolutely. Let's hope the praydog PCVR mod is incoming soon. I know he's probably a little busy at the moment mind 😊
PSVR2 was DOA once they revealed the price. Just take a look as the PS Blog about the price and date reveal and the comments. I was really looking forward to PSVR2 but once the price was revealed I knew it was DOA so I didn't buy it. Plus the headset itself isn't that great. A relatively low resolution with pentile display and terrible lenses
I playing Res7 praydog mod again @ the moment, it is very good
Reprojection?

Oh, nice - didn't realise there was a demo. I had considered picking up a month of Game Pass to try it out, but I'll take that demo first.

Great episode as always.
Only degenerates have a 4090. I know because I have one too :) /Simplex

Reprojection is a menace! #teamantirepro
Did Rog say he Hammered it Flat regarding GT7

The tester with a 3060ti was using SSW on VD with UEVR for what it’s worth
Did Roger say facial computing?😂
I said spatial computing - though facial computing isn't inaccurate I suppose 🤣

I wonder why people see reprojection differently

@@Dazednetic I keep meaning to try the re framework for res 4, I think the 1st person view is now sorted from 3rd
