      I REALLY want another DLC for the Tomb Kings with all the new stuff like units and characters we get nowadays from such a content drop. Stuff like the Titan and Ushabti with greatweapons and such would be so cool. There definitely is enough stuff left to warrant more for the Tomb Kings.
      I hope CA actually do it and give us a full blow DLC, not just a small rework update.

      I think they and the Coast need to be included in the undead DLC with Nagash and Nefarata. Both factions were great fun in WH2 but have fallen behind.

      Increase the max amount of canopic jars that can be kept and gained from battle. TK is really slow and they need to increase their army limit asap.

    Khatep should collect the sparkle of life from every faction (deafeating or killing a certain ammount of that race) and finally hold some place to do the rite.

      You forgot to mention the melee bone giant variants. Always felt they were more prevalent in the TT than the ranged one.

      Nathan, I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about TW: Pharaoh! This would be an excellent time for CA Sofia to implement some of their cool content from there into the Tomb King’s Faction content - considering how much attention they are putting towards Pharaoh, I expect the Tomb Kings update/DLC (when released) to be spectacular lol!

    Make the Tomb Scorpion building available in minor settlements! CA nerfed it from Tier IV to Tier III going into the third game, but it's still not available in minor settlements. Instead of +2 capacity like it used to, it now only provides +1, so that seems completely fair to make available in minor settlements. I'd also like to see trade resources provide unit capacity increases.

      And I mean, yep, its just not a T4 unit power-/statewise. Definitely not, even though I love it and it can carry some battles.

      @@darthnihilus6211 are you talking about the Araby mod? The only thing that's roughly similar is rushing up construction with canopic jars (and thank Ptra for that) otherwise i didn't see any slaves.
      And I just found I can confederate with Settra . Freaking awesome

    Honestly, more than anything I want the archers to not require a building to increase a cap for a generally poor unit. If I had that alone I'd likely be more happy with their state of affairs.

    HELL. NO. We already have someone like that and he also is a High Liche Priest. It's Based Sehenesmet. The Chad Vizier of Quatar. Is a High Liche Priest that took levels in Necrotect in order to animate and increase the numbers of his constructs in his army. Not to mention that he's permanently entombed inside a Bone Giant whose immense physical strength he uses to personally build larger and more impressive monuments and statues.
    He never had a model (but there are two kitbashed variants of him), but he had rules and even his own army list that was very construct heavy. Not to mention that his unique item is wielded by his Bone Giant and it's a crook that shoots magic missiles with the number of shots proportional to the number of enemies he slew in melee.
    So yeah , Sehenesmet is a High Liche Priest with lore of light inside a Bone Giant (and that's before Hierotitans were a thing) with Necrotect capabilities when it comes to constructs and leading them.
    He's literally far more interesting and fun sounding than Ramhotep. Even his lore makes him a pretty cool guy.

      Dittoing this. Ramhotep is LH at best. Sehenesmet is a Tomb King GUNDAM LL! That's insane and awesome. Likewise I hope they make Apophas a LL wandering around the world in a vain attempt to undo his curse, just a LH feels like a waste for such an awesome model.

      @@Szminsky Yes, and I wouldn't mind if there was a little more flavor to the Lords of the different researchable dynasties. They all seem bland, like cookie cutter versions of the same thing. Would be nice if they had some differentiating skill-sets and abilities beyond their default army bonuses.

      Vamps should just get a champions of chaos-style DLC pack. We're missing LLs for Strigoi, Blood Dragons, Necrarchs, and Lahmians, and I'd like to see the tech tree and blood kiss mechanic changed a lot. Instead of gardcapping your blood kiss lords, make blood kisses a currency you can spend to unlock bloodline lords like how High Elves spend intrigue to get better lords, and also make blood kisses a currency you spend in the tech tree. Make each blood line get their own branch too.
      Trade off is that the bloodline lords don't get insta-immortality.
      Also, give vamps a mechanic like Bel'akor's conversion one, but it turns a felled human lord or non-daemon chaos lord into a vamp lord. Probably another place to spend blood kisses.

    CA could take the Chorfs unit cap mechanic and let us spend canoptic jars on unit/army caps. They don't even have to invent a new currency.

    The Tomb Kings are only fun with the mods from Agemouk.
    In vanilla they are also broken as opponents or allies (lacking AP units) until they get a high number of settlements.
    Generally people only care about what they can do in the game, and not what the CPU does (which is a shame).

    I would like to see EVERY faction get at least one more LL and for some, DLC. The exception being Vampirates, Lizardmen, and the Skaven just need Thanquil if anything. A lizard touch up rework yes, but they have PLENTY of LLs. If Arbaal is the FLC, I would call Khorne done as well. If not, they need him to be finished. Archaon needs a mechanic that gives him his Lieutenants and Crom should cap off WoC. Everyone else needs at minimum 1 more LL, and in most of those, 2 LLs and DLC.
    The thing is, these WOULD sell decent. CA would be foolish not to. Estalia and maybe 2 other races should be added as well at some point.

      Eh, regarding Lizardmen, Tetto'eko still needs a presence, in the same way as the skaven still needs Thanquil. Granted, Tetto'eko could work as a Legendary Hero in the same way that Kroak works, but I don't think CA would do that; it would be two lizard Legendary Heroes that have the same role.
      So, despite the amount of lizard LLs, I just can't picture a rework DLC not including a Tetto'eko/Thanquil/insert-third-faction-LL theme.

    Me, a casual Vampirates fan, knowing I'm never going to get content or updates again.
    At least they'll probably get a couple new units when V-counts get their dlc

    Tomb Kings SHOULD get two DLC's and they are deserving of two, Prince Tutankhamut and Alcadizaar the Conqueror with Sehenesmet as you awaken him and then heroes - Prince Apophas, Nekaph, Emissary of Settra. (Ramhotep the Visionary should be mechanics for the TK.)
    Tomb Herald and Icon Bearer (heroes), Tomb Swarms, Tomb Guard Chariots, Skeleton Heavy Horsemen, Ushabti Ancients, Casket Tomb Guard, Mortuary Cult Acolytes, Bastethi, Asp Bone Colossus, Khamric Titan, Necrolith Bone Dragon (Plz GW) and then add in the missing unit variants: Light Armour, Ushabti (Great Weapons) and Bone Giant variants

      Yes, other races got half a dozen dlcs, 2-3 reworks, super coo mechanics with cool new Lords and legendary heros. But i think sadly they will get Tomb Kings mixed up in the last dlc with nagash, barely annything new and than its basicaly f- you Tomb King players.

      1. Southern Realms (Araby) - Bretonnia - Tomb Kings
      2. Nagash with Lahmian, have Neferata as FLC - Tomb Kings - Skaven

      Neferata will come in a Bloodlines DLC.
      Nagash should be his own faction with all undead rosters + his own unique stuff. Like an undead Daniel but much better and fun.

      But your are right Nagash should get its own DLC so Nagash - Tomb Kings - Skaven would still work

    When they introduce Nagash (who should be a power creep faction IMO), they should have a DLC edit for Arkhan’s campaign where, after gathering the Nine Books of Nagash, the Staff of Nagash, taking the Crown of Sorcery from Azhag (or whichever LL defeated him or his victor), and fully upgrading the Black Pyramid, you can perform a ritual to summon Nagash; thereby making him your new LL…

      The map begins in the bottom left corner which has the coordinates 0,0.
      In order to add something to the left or below that area - the map has to be moved away from 0,0.

    I'd like to see the Books of Nagash become available through Military Alliances much like Thorek's unique parts. I'd also like to see Arkhan's outdated victory condition of holding Karag Orrud changed or removed, you're better off giving that stretch of land to an ally. More Vampire units and more climate preferences for Arkhan would be nice, as would a better faction effect for Khatep so you actually have a reason to play him. Would also be nice if we could get the Tomb Kings story quests from the Vortex campaign back. Oh, and Arkhan's unique melee skill "Necrostrike" doesn't provide melee attack, which it probably should. Khalida could also use an easier start...And more craftable items that make use of the new trade resources from Warhammer III, same for the Dwarfs.

    my one thing i really want for Tomb Kings is a unit increase system in the likes of the Chaos Dwarfs for them. i hate the fact that you in order to have a few Tomb Guard units need to have a capacity of 4k Skeleton Archers.. its bongers, annoying and so unbalanced, plus it forces you down a certain playstyle, and while this current system is 100% suited for Legend of TTW, it just doesn't suit me as i don't want to archer spam

    so everyone should be up to date on CA's recent video about the next DLC and the future of TWWH they said something very interesting during the discussion when they were talking about legacy races especially vampire counts they made a remark that they hadn't forgotten about it but they also haven't touched it yet for a reason now it is my belief they are hinting to the rumour that before the end times DLC there will be a nagash DLC which I believe this will include new units as well as reworks to both tomb kings and vampire counts.

    Considering the idea for CA updates, do you Nathan think that the works of a Fantasy Monster roaster could be done. Like with Magma Dragons, Merewyrms, Bonegrinder Giants especially, and other creatures like that, no lord or hero’s included? Just a variety of creatures for all factions?

    Need to share pyramid bonuses between the TK owner and his allies. Start as khatep, find settra, ally him, get the bonuses. Same for khalida.
    Have 2 army slots at the start, making the start much more forgiving for everyone
    Research rate can be added onto the public order building

    Khalida is my favorite tomb kings character, but man does her campaign suck. She’s weak. Her army is weak. Her buffs are weak. Skeleton archers are worse than peasant bowmen by a country mile with only 1AP which makes them useless late game and having to fight dwarfs early on makes them useless early game.
    I think she has the weakest campaign in all of immortal empires. Somebody give her some juice!

    I would love to see a DLC pack for the three deathtide factions, namely Tomb Kings, Vampire Counts, and Vampire Coast. They all feel a bit lacking and outdated and I think it would make thematical sense.

    Tomb Kings need:
    - entombed benath the sands/ambush mechanics for scorpions necropolis knights ans sepulchral stalkers
    - CC version of bone giant
    - flying necrosphinx

    I would like it if Tomb Kings got a few 'just for total war' units. The potential power level of several factions has exploded with the release of Thrones of Decay, while Tomb Kings remain as a powerful, yet overshadowed 2nd game army.

    The research rate really needs to be boosted. Maybe give the Pyramids an additional effect of boosting the research rate and removing the penalty to research rate in the tech tree.

    Tomb Priests need a mount that works the same way as the Corpse Cart for the Vampire counts something that buffs and heals there units they also need a flying mount option maybe a Giant carrion mount

    lizard men and tomb lads my favorites in the game as i love using a gazillion monster units at a time, so knowing lizardmen will get some attention and hopefully tomb kings would make my day man!

    11:10 - instead of chance per turn for something to happen I would prefer a cumulative bonus depending on number piramids you control. Like 1 piramid - nothing more than standard bonuses. 2 piramids - bonus capacity for high tier units. 3 piramids all mentioned earlier plus increased research speed, and so on.

    Tomb kings early game just feels AWFUL, for me at least. People always counter by saying they stomp late game, but I'm just like BRUH, every faction stomps late game as long as you're an even halfway competent player.

    I'd like to see a Tomb King trait, or skill, or item, SOMETHING, that gives a good buff to Skeletal Warriors. The spearmen are way superior for a chaff unit for your secondary armies.
    Obviously you can't just make them as powerful as Ghorst's Zombies(at least I don't think that would be balanced....) but having a secondary army of warriors that can do SOMETHING would be nice.

    A feature/mechanic I have always wanted for the Tomb Kings is “Raise Dead,” which would cost Canopic Jars instead of money. Something along the lines of 3 CJs per unit tier (3-15). That way, Tomb Kings would have a way to quickly replenish their armies, but at the cost of a precious resource.

    I think Tomb Kings, Vampire count, and vampire coast will get rework in Nagash DLC.
    I think the format will be 3 Legendary Lords (Nagash and the others), 3 Legendary Hero (for each undead faction) and the rest is depend on CA and GW.
    The format for units is still confusing for me, because each faction must get something fair

    I love Angemouks tomb King extended Mod, several of the units you showed are actually in there and a lot more, but of course, official updates is something different than fan-made mods ^^
    As for mechanic updates I do have some wishes myself.
    1) Have Canopic Jars scale the same way they did with Nurgle, being hard locked on always 30 no matter what you do feels extremely limiting.
    2) Remove additional armies from Research and don't increase research times, instead make a more streamlined version of increasing Army and Hero Capacity via Canopic Jars (it exists already, but maybe a visual upgrade like Beastmen have)
    3) I would like to have a "summoning" recruitment like Nurgle has tbh or means to increase the Global Recruitment capacity and decrease the recruitment duration as especially with TK's it feels extremely punishing to replenish or upgrade your armies "on the go" since if you loose a fight, your entire army is gone and building that up from the ground on your home turf feels bad.
    Not much else aside from that, sure updating Faction mechanics would be nice, especially a overhaul of LL special skill lines and "how they work" in an army comp (like Khalida's special trait buffing Archers Around her does NOT work at all with her being a Duelist Cav Unit and her general army composition with the units she buffs dasn't match well either)

    Nathan, I’m surprised you didn’t mention anything about TW: Pharaoh! This would be an excellent time for CA Sofia to implement some of their cool content from there into the Tomb King’s Faction content - considering how much attention they are putting towards Pharaoh, I expect the Tomb Kings update/DLC (when released) to be spectacular lol!

    My favourite Warhammer faction of all time!
    I'd love to see Heralds added as Heroes where you can change their banner pre-battle (Each LL should have one and so should the key gods) for different buffs within their aura of influence.
    Throw in Nekaph as a LH so that the King of Kings has his own personal herald finally and I'll be happy.
    Gutted that the Bone Dragon won't be making it into TWW3 due to GW being completely incompetent but not surprised either.

    So, just throwing this out there... a fun Tomb King addition to the game either as DLC (highly unlikely) or as a mod would be Karitamen, the antagonist/protagonist of the Lure of the Liche Lord campaign from WFRP 2e. He dreams of restoring Nehekhara and empire building in general, wants to ensure Nagash is dead and is an implacable foe of Chaos.
    Karitamen would come with a legendary Liche Priest hero, Tetrahon, and some possibly interesting mechanics. Specifically, something cool could be done around his Tomb in the hidden valley, which could be represented in any number of ways - a settlement, a hidden settlement attached to another one, or a screen in and by itself with various upgrades. As Karitamen is also portrayed as interested in ruling the living and building the future more than looking at the past, which is a refreshing perspective for a Tomb King.
    Ah well, just dreaming a bit...

    Also Setra isn't the true uniter of Khemri its the Mortuary Cult, Setra is just a strong warlord, they used so they could continue playing with necromancy. Plus I honestly see no reason why Khatep and Khalida shouldn't be able to confederate each other and minors. Likewise Arkhan should be able to confederate minors.

    So… You want a paid dlc for a paid dlc which would be a bunch of reskins, variants, 2 unique things and some crappy units that nobody Will ever use? That sounds like a terrible idea for marketing. I wouldnt be opposed to it being added in some dlc that just adds missing stuff for every faction but No way in hell would i ever pay for a dlc like this just for tomb kings and it would just make CA come off as greedy assholes.

    Don't forget Nekaph, Settra's personal herald. Arch Necrotect's could also be another generic lord option, giving the Tomb Kings alot of diversity for generic lord options.

    I think I had a decent idea for a unit for the TK DLC, a Bone Giant with sword and board. Could maybe have a defence bonus vs large, and maybe something like the ballistic shielding introduced in the last DLC. Wouldn't be the most flashy unit but could be interesting having a tankier giant that resists the usual counters to big SEMs

    I feel like the stat buffs for their best units via skill trees and the research need to be boosted. I fought a battle the other month where I had two fairly built stacks against Orion's end game stack and his mobile archers dusted my sphynxes and scorpions even when they were running full speed in just a matter of a few seconds. It felt like I was charging a player's Ikit/Elspeth/Dwarf gun line but it was just archers. Similarly, my Tomb Guard with shields didn't feel like they had shields due to how much missile damage they took as well.
    The Empire tanks have that ballistic plating to help protect them from frontal artillery and smaller missile damage, and I think research should get that unlocked for the monster units of the Tomb Kings as well (it stands to reason that a giant stone construct should have at least as good of missile resistance as a hollow, metal tank).
    It'd also be nice to get different boosts for unit cap increases and jar income. I feel like I'm always scrounging for jars just to increase army and hero caps and rarely get to use them on gear or units - if we could get more jars, having some more units that are purchasable with jars would also be cool - furthermore, I never understood why you're only allowed one of each of the special jar units. If the Empire can keep buying elector count units, why can't the Tomb Kings keep jar purchasing their fancier variants as well?

    I like the idea of pyramids giving a percent chance each turn to increase your capacity for X unit, and for the necrotect lord you proposed perhaps he's over in Cathay, specifically because he seeks to perfectand improve his arts and Cathayan constructs would fit as something he'd be interested in. It also means he can use the ocean sail gates to loop around to Lustria/Naggarond and help Khatep.
    Perhaps have the canopic jar mechanic personalized to the necrotect, khatep, etc.?
    Special things only they can craft.

    I think people want reworked mechanics and better gameplay before a reskin of units with great weapons etc, “variety for variety’s sake, soooo yeaaa” doesn’t fix all the other issues with TK.

    I feel if the tomb kings are going to get another LL or 2. The map probably needs to be expanded to make the desert area south of the badlands bigger. The Tomb kings all seem to be rooted in Desert areas and those are quite limited on the IE map atm. So it would be a major cluster F of tomb king LLs in Nehekara. Unless you kick a tomb king to shang yang which would be wierd.

    For me they played usually very sloggy until you get a steamroll stack. Than i conquered as much of nehekara as possible and got the small money buildings everywhere. Than you are pretty much golden and can field high tier armies and are kinda unbeatable.
    Played arround with arkhan one time and though hey lets have a look whats going on with manfred. He had one settlement and the ordertide sitting arround so i declared war and got one city in the middle of it. Fought of like 6 armies of ordertide per endturn with my hightierstack...
    So for me it would be nice, if it would be a bit more balanced between early and late game. A bit less hard to get to cool units and a bit less lategame steamroll... But i gues thats just the way they play with kinda free upkeep and super expensive buildings. 😅
    They are fun though already how they are.

    Most problem with TK is how slow they can grow and get access to mid/late units, with most other factions you can get the money just from battle/sack, with TK you either get t1 money building, control or grow at the expense of getting short at the others, a small unit system just like beastmen to unlock extra before you can reach a big empire with full upgraded military buildings, that and usually the Anti-large is really bad until you get late units and the reason is the unit cap

    Alternatively to the random chance to increase the cap you could increase it by one or two per pyramid that you control. Then it won't technically be unlimited but it will get dramatically more powerful as you expand. And you could have your legendary locations have a building that increases that further maybe

    They need a big overhaul. Each Lord need his own mechanic, not this cheap nagash book trash. And i am tired of the accuse that the Tomb kings Were the best dlc. Yes but they are years old, never got anything new and the Skaven were also pretty good and they got more and more and more. They are so behind in Lords and Legendary Heros, its insane

    something that needs to be reworked that you didnt mention is the books, they need to be reworked. Not only is there basically no incentive to get them, the rewards are ass and it takes for ever to get to them, and you have to take the settlement which in of itself is often a waste of time. The rogue army ones also lock you to mid-late game as most of them are very end game crisis like ones, which further makes the buffs they give irrelevant.
    For me, i think the tech tree can use a more indepth rework, though the two sides thing works well enough for a simple work (though number/amount of buffs to the tech would be handy). Now the settlement buildings really need a big rework, main issue is getting anything high tier in a reasonable time frame. Like i want to use them, the titans and warsphinx etc, sometimes you really want to have them to help in some battles but most the time its just too hard to wait so you gotta beat your enemy with other units. The growth, control and money buildings should get some changes, as they tend to just kinda be there, and become very hard sells with how you need to buff your unit caps as soon as possible but also need the infrastructure similarly fast.
    The last thing that comes to mind here that you didnt mention, is the canoptic jar generation, it really needs to get buffed, as a lot of the early game items that you can craft become useless by the time you can actually get enough jar generation to craft them due to having better drops or just a silly amount of items already.

    nitpick but the heriophant could be a lord liche priest or a hero liche priest. it was just the highest level spell caster in your army (or settra if you had settra). so the higher leadership tomb king or prince would still be the general but the liche priest would be the magic user holding the army together. splitting up the two roles that a single character played in the vampire counts book.
