Thank you for the tutorial. I teach art classes at a senior home on Thursdays, and for the holiday season, I wanted a special project! We will be taking a try at your method! I can see the smiles already~ I really appreciate your thorough explanations & list!
These are absolutely gorgeous! I do them the same way and this year was my first go at it. My husband is absolutely in love with them and wants me to do our whole tree in them. Thanks for all your suggestions ❤
I did these last year. I tried it with paint inside the balls and it was a mess. moisture got caught in there and the paint ran so it didn't cover completely. I tried with a bunch of times and all failed. what works great inside is clear varnish and glitter :). I did both clean and dirty pour on the outside and got wonderful results. If you use red and green next to eachother you may get a blending and = grayish color cuz ,,,color wheel :) but just don't work it much & it'll be cool.
I've been watching videos for a couple yrs. I've just started doing my own pouring & resin. My ornaments have come out stellar! The hydro dipped ones were a blast! I used rustoleum crystal clear (very smelly!) to seal all of them. Thank you MMG! My vases and paintings are another story - resin - ugh! I will be using stonecoat in the future! I did 18 pieces yesterday & will be redoing all 18. One may be so far gone it's trash! So happy & so sad all at once. I'm learning.
Lovely and well explained as usual. Totally enjoy your videos and talent. My granddaughter, son & I poured all our bulbs (used old, cheap glass ones we had) and wooden disks we made. We had a super time doing it and, of course, bragging about each and every one of our creations...along with a bit of competition!!! These ornaments will go on a tree cut from our property. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
These are absolutely gorgeous. Cant do this year, but maybe with some spring colors for an Easter tree. I for one would love to see you do a clean pour on some ornaments.
Are used artist flow ready mixed paint and did the inside of several bulbs, and the paint all drained out and only left a mirror shadow, which was not attractive. These turned out beautiful and next time I will pour the paint on the outside. Thank you!
Thank you so very much ‼️I totally agree with you I wanted to find out sometime who painted on the out side They are beautiful..I do have a question ❓ Can you do wine glasses..I have a daughter in law who drinks wine 🙏 These are beautiful 🥰
When you pour on the outside would adding solid white or black or any solid color coat n the inside effect the design or the lines when you pour on the outside! I didn’t know if it would enhance the colors or if it will even b seen after the outside dries.
I like the pattern, the the mixing of colors just looks totally muddy and blah. i also prefer the shininess of glass, but the patterns are very cool which you don't see on the inside.
Hi, I don’t know if you’ll see this or not but I did some like these 3 days ago , and they are still tacky , if they lay on something or against something for too long , they stick at a pinpoint , is this normal , or will the tackiness dry soon . These are for gifts and I don’t want to wrap them and ruin them if you get what I mean .
I have painted ornaments before but because I used only acrylic paints (not pouring paint) and I put on the inside, the paint melted a little from the heat of the lights. Would this happen I used pouring paint?
I’ve tried to make some but my paint don’t seem to go all the way underneath the ball next to where the hanger goes. Any suggestion what I’m doing wrong.
I made them using the same supplies and it turned all in one color…. It didn’t hold the lines and it was so hard go get them painted on the bottom 🤷🏻♀️
What’s the different between ready pour and regular acrylic paint? I tried doing this but put the paint on the inside and swirled it around and it was just globs of paint inside lol It must be a different formula?
I tried them last night with AL Acrylic paints. I got the metallic set and a few other tubes. I found it was way too thick and had to water every color down. Kinda of a pain for the extra time.
It seems to stay just fine. But I did a super super light scruffing/sanding then wiped with alcohol before I poured on them just to help make sure the paint would hold.

I love the swirl effect you get with doing it that way!! 🥰
THESE ARE GREAT, I LOVE THESE. THANK YOU FOR BEING ON YOU TUBE❤❤❤❤😊😊😊😊😊

These ornaments are gorgeous!😍

Beautiful. I have some clear ornaments on order. Can't wait to try this. Thanks for sharing.😺❤
I'm not having any luck pouring on the inside .. I'm finally going to try this 🤞🤞
Beautiful ♥️
I definitely prefer this method :)
Wow...these are so pretty, I ❤️ them! I’m going to have to try this, and it does look fairly easy. 🎄😁
They look fantastic!
So pretty! Love the colors.
Wow, so beautiful! Love those colors!!
Incredi-ball! 💜💜💜
I absolutely love this. I've been thinking about painting ornaments, but too late for this year.
It’s not too late. Michael’s still has these ornaments and they’re on sale.

Love that great idea happy holidays to you and your family
I love these! Came across your videos in the past couple weeks and have done some of my own. It’s so much fun!
Fantastic absolutely love 💗 they are amazing 🤩!
Beautiful ! You make it look so easy!
I agree, I've done both. Outside is much better. I sealed with spray varnish.
Love, love, love these. Thanks for sharing. 🙏🏼👍🏼🤍
Oh awesome! I love these. I need one of those cool bowls!
Well done Marcy 🤗
Love it! You did a great job ❤️🤍💚❤️🤍💚
Omg what a fantastic idea!!
Seasonal and beautiful. ❤️
Was just thinking of making some for family! Great timing!
Love how these turned out ❤
Beautiful
I found if I pour white or black paint first the paint goes under to the bottom. It gives the color a place to run.
They are adorable
They came out Great!
James 🎅
I love this tutorial!!! You are so talented and the end product is always beautiful…thank you so much for your videos… =),
Thanks for sharing. Was wondering how they would come out. Very pretty.
So pretty. Waiting impatiently for Dec 12....
Ong these are so pretty!
They are all beautiful.
Thank you 😊
Your ornaments look so smooth, just like glass. Is there a trick to get them that way.
Absolutely beautiful ❤
I just made some like this. I dont like inside pours. Wastes alot of paint. Thanks for the advice

Very cool, I have some I need to do.
Beautiful 🤩

Yes, you can do wine glasses :) I would recommend taping off the top inch of them and pouring the rest
Love them

Very beautiful!!
Decorate those balls!
🤣🤣🤣
Can you mix glitter into the paint to make the paint sparkly? Or will that just make a big mess and not turn out right?
What a grand method to decorate the Christmas ornaments. Can this method be used on existing balls?
I like the pattern, the the mixing of colors just looks totally muddy and blah. i also prefer the shininess of glass, but the patterns are very cool which you don't see on the inside.
Very pretty!
💖💖💖💖💖 Magnifique !!! est ce que tu vernis par dessus ou s'il n'y a pas besoibn ? Merci pour le partage !!!!
How long do you let them dry/cure? Can they be sealed right away, or do I need to wait a certain amount of time?
I love this look and will be making some of these for my tree this year, thanks.
Which colour should I use? I also have acrylic paint, but unfortunately they are not so liquid that I could pour it over the balls.
Lovely!
Beautiful 🎉
If using plastic does the paint peel off? Is it better to use glass?

That is really cool now you gotta say again what kind of paint you are using

Very cute

Love these! And the hydrodips ! What would be a good thing to use to write on them?
Any acrylic markers, or you can even put stickers on them :)
@@MixedMediaGirl Coolio 😎 thank you for the speedy reply!
I’ve tried to make some but my paint don’t seem to go all the way underneath the ball next to where the hanger goes. Any suggestion what I’m doing wrong.
How long do you let them cure before you seal them?
Hi, I'm a new subscriber. If I wanted to top with resin do I use the same method that you did with the acrylic pour?
I tried this but as they sat there were bare spots. Did I not use enough paint?
I love them! Could you topcoat with clear resin to make them more durable and longer lasting?
Yep!
Did you seal yours because the are very shiny
After sealing with CC enamel spray, how can they be stored? I'm afraid they'll stick to each other!
How long do they take to dry?
Those are beautiful!
How long does it take to dry
How do you seal the paint so it doesn’t chip
I'm going to start pour painting I am new at it . Would you have any good ideas?
how well does this paint work inside plastic ornaments? I only want to use 1 color and completely coat the inside
These are plastic
do you seal these?

These are created with an easy to pour fluidity, which most acrylic paint is not :)
@@MixedMediaGirl and I can find these at like Joannes?
You can get the Artist Loft paints at Michael’s
I’m looking for the unboxing video for Christmas I’ve seen the other three
This one? ruclips.net/video/v3Not3doNZA/видео.html
Note: if you click on "Mixed Media Girl" then click "videos" you'll see the list of my videos
A little late to this party 🥴🥴but what supplier did you get these from so far I can only find ones that come apart in the middle
Thank you xx
I got these at Michaels
@@MixedMediaGirl thanks xx 👍👍
Definitely trying y
These. Can I ask how you store them ?
Try using a deep cookie tin from dollar store, nest the balls on tissue paper.
I live in a cold area, and can not use spray sealants at this time of year. What would you recommend as a replacement?
Liquitex varnish
@@MixedMediaGirl thank You!
I tried this with AL pre-mixed paint and found it very thin. When it dried, the ornament was transparent.

How well does paint stick to plastic balls???
It seems to stay just fine. But I did a super super light scruffing/sanding then wiped with alcohol before I poured on them just to help make sure the paint would hold.
❤🎄 I've been doing this for the past several weeks! LOL 32 done and ready for gifting!!
I just tagged you on Instagram.
well done but could have stopped the pouring at 02:02? 🤔🌸
That wouldn't have been enough paint
If I want to pack them away after the holiday, how would I pack them to use for next year?
Did you seal them ?
How long did it take to dry
A few hours
Thanks for the tips. I love how it turned out
