Acrylic Pour Christmas Ornaments 2019 - Easy DIY
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 18 сен 2024
- This is the updated acrylic pouring Christmas ornament video for 2019. 2 years ago I poured the paint on the inside of the balls, which worked well with the paint I used but other people had issues with all the paint running out, so I made this video, which seemed to work much better.
Feel free to get creative and add glitter or other materials :)

Love the dirty pour! Look like marbles.
These are beautiful
I bought the Michaels ornaments ( round and flat) for my after 4 art kids to make. They were beautiful. I only gave them bright colours and a cup of white. The ones basecoated with white were cool. Looked like elongated snow drips. Have some left and hope to do some for myself. Hope I can do as well as the kids.
I didn't think I would like the clean pour with the bare spots but it kinda looked like a flower!! Love it!! 🌸🖌️🎨🦒
So pretty!! My kids and I did some last year... It was so fun. Can't wait to do them again.
Gorgeous. I love when there's lots of peak-a-boo openings in the clean pour. It's like little windows. Saw your other vid where you did it too. Thanks 💓
I really love the dirty pour ornaments!! So colorful!! 🌈🌈🌈😍
I love the one in the middle its soo pretty!!! 😍
Thank you! Great video as usual. I’ve been really enjoying doing these ornaments.
Love Christmas ornament pouring time. I just got all mine out of the storage room from last year. I plan on pouring more tonight. Im going to be hanging only my pour painting balls on my tree this year LOL Those all turned out so pretty. I especially liked the clean pour one because I think the clear areas made it looks super awesome.
Happy Holidays Marcy!
❤❤❤
So pretty! I’ll have to try this!
If you want the ornaments to sit up higher, you can use wooden dowels but like MMG, I just use craft sticks from the dollar store. I love painting ornaments! So fun! I did a few where I made loops & let them drip, purposely leaving some of it uncovered towards the under side, which becomes the top (Kind of a teardrop shape). They came out really cool. I coated mine with a spray clear enamel. Two coats gets it covered nicely with the spray. Once, if sprayed really well. I prefer two light goats so it doesn't drip.
The spots on blue one that didn't get covered--could cover those areas with silver glitter glue or white puffy paint
Great idea!!
You never cease to inspire me mmg!
They look great!
So cool and turned out gorgeous! I'm of to find my giant xmas box to grab some ornaments right now to paint. Thanks! 😆🎄💜🐨
These look amazing!
Wow those are so beautiful 💜💙💜 I like the paint on the outside.
So pretty!
I will be tying this today :) Thanks for sharing. Love the way yours turned out and I kind of like the ones with a less coverage.
Love these! I hope I still have some of my ornaments from my Michaels days, I bought a bunch on clearance after Christmas. These would be great for gift tags by adding names! The one without full coverage, I think it would be fun to paint the inside silver or white, and then intentionally avoid full coverage on the outside. Did you find a good paint for getting solid coverage on the inside?
LOVELY! 💓💓💓
AMAZING!!🎄
So pretty, I wonder if the artists loft pre mixed paints would work? Might be good for these since they dry so glossy. 🤩🤩🤩🌲🌲🌲🌲
Oooooooh! Video coming up!
@@MixedMediaGirl yay!! Can't wait 🖤🖤🖤🌲💙💚
I love these! I saw one of your earlier videos on this and I bought a 6 pack of these clear plastic and a bunch of the flat wooden ones! I did some of the wooden ones this past weekend, and I think that they came out pretty cool! Thanks for sharing & getting me started!!!
Wow love all 3
Help, paint is not staying on, it is stretching and splitting in places.
Just ordered the ornaments from Michaels last night. Hubby is definitely going to have something to say, but who cares... not this woman! 🤣
Great update! Thanks!
These look amazing! great tutorial!
Glorious job 👌❤️
Love the dirty pour.
Just what I needed to get me inspired. Middle one is my favorite. Thank you.
BRB, GOING TO THE DOLLAR STORE TO GRAB KETCHUP BOTTLES FOR CLEAN POUR APPLICATION!!! AND MATERIALS FOR DIRTY POUR!!! OOH HOPING I REMEMBER TO ENTER THE WEEKLY GIVEAWAY!!! MAMA NEEDS MORE MATERIALS!!
They came out beautiful. I'd love to do some and might. Only one thing, I live in South Louisiana where it's always humid. They may get dried by Christmas! hahaha
Lol they would still dry fast
That was great, thanks 😃🥰🙏💞
How fun!
I love doing ornaments! I prefer glass but it’s just a personal thing. So far this fall I’ve done 193 so far. Lol!
I wonder, if you mixed glitter into the paint before pouring if it would give it a little sparkle?
You can mix very fine glitter in to give it a sparkle :) I recommend suspending it in a little water first so it doesn't clump up
💗💗💗
Beautiful as always ❤
And YT and I are about to throw down! I JUST got the notification for the 2nd attempt auction 😡 I had forgotten to set an alarm and I was sick and may not have stayed, but still 😡😡😡😡
Do you need to wipe the plastic ball with alcohol before pouring on?
What is the ratio of floetrol & water?
Did you put silicone in any of these?
No
