Very pretty. Love the Blues especially. My tree is white with clear lights only & all the ornaments & other decor are in blue &/or silver only. I LOVE it. 💙💙💙🙏🙏🙏🎄🎄🎄🎄 🎄
You also could pour some gold paint inside the top-shaped ornaments and swirl it around so it entirely coats the interior. Then when you do your paint pour, the gold would show through the gaps where there wasn’t outside paint. Just a thought.
Those are truly beautiful and inspiring! But my favorite was the first red and white one you did when it had the white and red spirals then when you went over it again the spiral stripes went away and my heart dropped. 🤣It is still pretty though. Thanks for sharing!
You are such an incredible artist! I am such a newbie to acrylic pour.!! The colors are so beautiful, i would hate wasting it. Maybe you could put freezer paper over the foam before pushing them in...then you would have those beautiful skins for other small projects.
They all turned out lovely!! I wonder on the fancy one if you could pour some gold into it and turn it upside to drain out. Thank you for the instructions! Can’t wait to try it!
Keen to try this! How about little fridge magnets with the small things? I would have liked to see how you dip them in the spilled paint … how you held on to them to dip them.
Hi Fiona, can you tell me how long it took to completely dry? I am trying to make them but was pouring the paint into the Bauble. Your idea is interesting and looks beautiful. Can you tell me if they still look as lovely after 10 months. Some of my previous ones with white paint have cracked. Great job. Have you made them again since this video? Thanks so much!
I think it took a couple of days to dry, but I left it for over a week before I spray varnished them. The weather would have been warm here at that time of year. I haven't pulled them out of storage to see how they have held up. I will have to check. Have I made them again? It's on my list of things to do this week! Hopefully, I can get the video out next week. 😉
It’s possible since you’re painting on the inside that the paints stayed too thick & didn’t dry properly. I’ve never had trouble with cracking when pouring on the outside, just brought out ornaments I did last year & they’re good.
How well does the paint hold up and stick to the ornaments over time and also is there any prepping or sanding that needs to be done prior to pouring the paint on?
Stunning Fiona! You have given me a push to try next year! I’ll bet they are not as good as these but I’ll have a go! Can I be so rude as to ask what ratio of paint to pouring medium/flotroel you used on these? Rare to find another Aussie to follow 💚💛
Thank you. 😊 I didn't actually measure it. My pouring medium is 1 part Liquitex pouring medium to 1 part Floetrol. Then mixed to a consistency I was happy with.
This is the first time I've made these, but I covered them with varnish once they had dried properly. Gives it a nice shine and should make them more durable 😉
@@fionascreativecanvas last year I put a base coat of white over the whole ball first so the colours flowed well. Only works good if you want white to show up in your design. I have also blown a bit with a straw to get the paint goung in the direction I wanted, just not too hard or the colours blow right down to the white! 🤦🏼♀🤣
Is that your take on this artists creations? 😂 Is that your biggest problem in life? 😮Many people repurpose content the “skins” (dried paint drips) for jewelry and accessories and journal covers-to answer your rude question.
Actually, yes it does take that much paint. Go to any paint pour video and you will see the same thing. Usually though, the excess paint doesn't go to waste. 😊
The only thing I don’t like about acrylic poor ornaments is that they’re not as shiny. Unless you put a top coat on them I like the gloss look that you get from pouring alcohol paint inside and then doing a white topcoat inside. I don’t like the acrylic pour look on the outside it just isn’t shiny. You have to spray them to get that shine and it’s just not worth it to me.
I just put about an inch of pouring medium mixture in the small cups I mix in & add my colours & play with it til I get the consistency I want. You just don’t want it too thin or it’ll all just run off ….trial & error has been my personal experience as I mix in small amounts as you don’t need a ton to do these.

Thank you 😊. Sounds lovely. My type of colours 😍
They are all beautiful! Great job
Thank you 😊
They are simply gorgeous 😍
Thank you Janice 😊
Those are all gorgeous. I’m
Inspired to try to emulate your excellent results ! 😃🙌
Thanks Caroline 😊. This was a fairly simple technique. Have fun 😃

What a great Idea!! Thank you 😀
That’s how we do it , they turn out beautifully and the paint doesn’t ever get damaged
I think this is a great technique and I might use this when making my own.
try pouring the paint into the differently shaped ornaments. swirl and let it drain out
I like the first one the best. They are really pretty!
Thank you 😊
Beautiful Fiona! I have a lot of plastic balls so I now know what to do with them! Love from NB Canada!
That's great! I'm sure it will keep you busy! 😊
Very simple ang gorgeous ❤🎉🎉🎉
😊
Thank you so much. I have already ordered the Christmas balls. Can't wait to start. 😅
Have fun! 😊
Great gift idea! Thanks Fiona❤
You’re welcome 😊
Beautiful!! Blue is my favorite!
Thanks! I love blue too 😉
Stunning creations. Love them all. TYFS.
Thank you so much! Glad you like them 😊

That is a great suggestion!

That would be interesting!
These are amazing!! 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you like them! 😊
Do you have a paint mixing video for the ornaments? Paint looks much thicker than for any other pours. Thanks
No I don't, I just mix with Liquitex pouring medium and Australian Floetrol and justctry to keep the consistency of all the colours the same. 😉
These look good enough to eat!
Keen to try this! How about little fridge magnets with the small things? I would have liked to see how you dip them in the spilled paint … how you held on to them to dip them.
I have bought some magnets but they don't stick well. Might have to try some glue. I use a golf tee with some Blu-tack to hold onto it to dip 😉
Do you put a top coat on to make them glossy?
I sprayed them with a clear acrylic gloss coat 😉
What kinds of paints and varnished do you use? These are magnificent. Love the color combinations.
I use acrylic paints mixed with pouring medium. Some brands I use are Amsterdam, Arteza and Mont Marte. Then I sprayed it with a clear gloss Acrylic 😉
What ratio of paint to pouring medium do you use?
Fiona this was so fun and so beautiful. Im gong to give it a try. We. Will. See. 😂
Have fun with it! 😊
Live this video. I would like to know if you used spray varnish? Would love to try this.
I used an acrylic clear coat spray. 😉

Did you dilute the paint any with water to make it more pourable? Thanks, they look great!
Thanks 😊 I added a pouring medium to make the paint flow 😉
How well does the paint hold up and stick to the ornaments over time and also is there any prepping or sanding that needs to be done prior to pouring the paint on?
This was the first time doing it so yet to see how long it lasts. I didn't do any prep but did finish it with a spray on varnish 😉
Beautiful! How did you varnish? Did you apply it the same as you swirled the paint on the baubles, or paint it on?
Thank you 😊. I used a spray varnish, 2 coats. 😉
Very pretty
Thank you! 😊
Beautiful! Why not try “dipping “ the ornament into the paint so that you don’t lose so much paint??🇧🇸
Oh I love that idea! Thanks 😊

Did you seal the paint with anything?
@@jenniecarmella9432 I sprayed it with a clear gloss acrylic 😉
how did you apply the varnish
I use a spray varnish. 😉 (use it outside with a mask)
Set the tile on a bowl or something. Put the tile on top. Spin a lazy susan to get the paint to flow.
How do you keep the acrylic paint from peeling off?
This is the first time I've made these, but I covered them with varnish once they had dried properly. Gives it a nice shine and should make them more durable 😉
Beautiful. All of Them. Thank You!! I Would of Used My Finger As Well!!! Lol
😆 Thank you 😊
Beautiful!!! :)
Thanks Angelia. Maybe next year I'll be brave enough to try blooms 😉
My acrylic paint seems a lot thicker than yours so won’t spread anywhere near as much. Help
Are you using pouring medium to thin your paints? I'm going to be doing this again soon and try some techniques to get the paint moving quicker. 😉

what kind of varnish do you use?
For this piece, I used White Knight Crystal Clear Acrylic Clear Gloss
How long do they take to dry ?
I did these in warm Weather and it took about a day. But I gave it multiple days before I spray varnished them.
What kind of varnish did you use
I used a gloss spray varnish 😉
Does it really take that much paint? Seems like such a waste!

It’s called POURING method
Zbytecne velka spotreba barev a pritom nektere nejsou vubec videt.

Oh that sounds interesting. I haven't used alcohol inks very much, but it sounds like a great option.
In all of these videos. Mixing ratios are never given
The proportions of the paints are arbitrary.

lol! Unavoidable! 🤷🏼♀
What did you do about the drips?
