How lovely. They will make beautiful keepsakes. I saw someone on do a lampshade using black and gold, that turned out great. Thanks for all your great ideas xxxxx
Enjoyed this video. I've made a lot of the baubles with the paint poured inside. They are just fun to do and each one is just a little different, even when you use the same color paint mixtures.
Me and my son tried hydro dipping with liquid inks and they turned out lovely. Love all of these that you have done and putting them on your trees outside very festive. I’ve just finished some baubles that split in two poured over them but am putting little pressies inside as table presents and they can keep the baubles for they’re tree next year. Do love watching your videos ❤️❤️
nice job, I used to hydro dip my finger nails, loads of fun designs you can get from it... And you could totally pour wee bits of different colored paints inside them baubles would be cool to see what you come up with.
The first one looks like beach sand! Pop a small star fish on it!! Beautiful! I did some of those for my Nephew with the colors of his football team! So pretty n fun to do!! Great going Miss Gilly💕💐💐
Omg! I love how you poured into the baubles. I will have to try it that way. Came out prettier than the ones I poured on the outside (and less effort 🤣). And, wow! I can see why you need a respirator with the spray paint!
I tried pouring on the inside this year and used ready to pour paints, the paint all ran out. Going to try again, but with paints that I mix to see if that helps. I love pouring on the outside. Love watching your videos everyday. Thank you so much
i love all these lovely craft things i would love to do .but as i am alone at xmas time i just cant be bother to do any xmas stuff.there is so many beautiful things we can do now with our art and any one can do it, it is beautiful to see how pour painting has grown love your work and ideas.keep up the good work.
Make them as gifts for family and friends. You get to enjoy the project and they get to enjoy your generosity and the finished baubles for years to come!
Awesome love your color combinations.. Thank you for explaining everything as you go. I am very new at this and will definitely try these for Christmas. Love your balloon kisses and swipes.
I had the same problem as Tina, when I pour inside wine bottles. Gilly, Your 'Hydro Pour' on the bulbs are beautiful. Looks like fun, gonna have to try.
My daughter and I made ornaments 14 years ago. We poured the paint inside of the glass baubles. They turned out beautiful! I bought more to do this year but I ran out of time. I did try it with plastic this year, but the paint didn't adhere. It ended up looking like Mercury glass. I tried several times with the same plastic ornament but the paint wouldn't stick inside. I'll do the glass ones for next year.
Those ornaments turned out SO beautiful! I actually poured on top of them last year and gave them as gifts. But I LUV the idea of pouring inside...no need to finish them. I can't wait to try the hydro dipping!
Oh Gilly, these turned out so pretty!! I especially loved the ones you poured the paint inside of them! Great project to do with grandkids! Did you have to keep wiping off the drips on the bottom of the hydro dipped ones? 🤗🥰💜
Love the idea of pouring on the inside, may be tricky for me with little hole. Last year I coated outside and that was hard as a circle it drips all over the place. I really hope I can master the inside painting. Thanks Gilly.
I was pouring paints & micro-glitter into glass "globe ornaments" & swirling it all around the inside -- that was about 20yrs ago. Also used teeny-tiny, shiny star confetti (which showed up even better, but had to swirl it with glue/water mix & do it before paints). Those were my Christmas gifts that year for people. Glued the cap on & a tiny ribbon/bow around it cuz' cap kept coming off (paint/weight?). We have much prettier paints to use now & clear plastic ornaments aren't as heavy, or as fragile! LOL...husband made new rule after that, still stands) -- "No pixie dust/glitter in the house!" We were vacuuming that stuff out of our carpet for years to come! "Oops!"
I loved the idea, so I bought some clear ornaments to try it. They came out so cool & it was so easy!! Thanks for showing it. I couldn't wait to show off my "baubles" (we call them ornaments). I'm going to give them to my friends for Christmas!!
Oh gilly, what a genius ideas these are gorgeous. Do you think it would work with ink in the water for dipping although the other method is my favourite.👏💜🌈
I am going to paint pour the inside of plastic ornaments with multiple colors this year. I thought about paint pouring the outside of plastic ornaments, but it looks pretty messy and then very unlikely to allow Cricut custom vinyl to adhere to the outside. When paint pouring the inside, the mess will be contained and then I can adhere Cricut custom vinyl designs to the outside surface of the plastic ornament. Last year I made Christmas ornaments for friends & family by coating glitter (use Minwax Polyacrylic to coat inside first) to the inside of plastic ornaments then used my Cricut to put custom vinyl name stickers on the outside. They were a hit! I have been paint pouring on canvases & clear glass vases for a couple years now. I recommend setting your paint poured ornaments upside down in plastic cups or an egg carton to dry before putting the top back on each ornament. I typically allow 24 - 48 hours for each ornament to completely dry inside.
@pattyzielke1205 If you are putting glitter inside the ornament after applying Minwax Polycrylic to coat the inside, you don't allow the Minwax coating to dry before applying the glitter. You want the Minwax Polycrylic to be tacky and act as glue to hold onto the glitter. You can let the ornament sit a couple minutes (maximum 5 minutes) with the Minwax Polycrylic inside, but you want to add the glitter inside the ornament before that coating dries completely. For convenience and less mess, I use a plastic liquid syringe to transfer the Minwax Polycrylic from the original can into each ornament inside. Using a funnel (rolled up sheet of paper or small plastic one) to add glitter into each ornament inside creates less mess also. Happy Crafting!
Beautiful, what a great idea to put the paint on the inside. Would you believe I have 6 Christmas baubles set up to paint on today, but mine are old ones that we don’t use anymore. I am guessing you got those from your favourite supplier CS? 🥰🇦🇺
When you put the paint inside do you use the same formula as for your canvas? Or just straight paint? Really cool video though. Defintely going to try this.
They all are so beautiful. I became aware of the hydro paint method when my son hydro painted a walking cane for me in my favorite shades of purple. I do have a question regarding the ornaments that you poured paints into. Did you use the Glue All and water mixed into the paints?
I poured some acrylic paint mixed with Flotrol into some baubles. It didn’t stick very well. I think the problem is that I didn’t pre-rinse the insides with vinegar first.
I know its been 2 years..but.. at the beginning you just picked up an already orepared cup of paint and used it inside. What was it? Straight paint? Paint mixed with water? Thanks
I tried pouring inside with ready to pour paint and when I went back to check them much of it had come off and I had big holes. Do you think it's because those paints are thinner and using a pouring medium with some glue in it would help it stick?
I love this, so beautiful, all of them! Thank you, Gilly! Loved seeing the outdoors!
What a brilliant way to coat Xmas baubles Gilly😍
They are gorgeous! I think I will try the ones you pour the paint into next year for gifts. They are so easy with no clear coat needed.
What a great idea. Thank you for sharing
What a great idea Gilly!! They turned out gorgeous! I love them all! ♥️♥️♥️
They all turned out beautiful 😍
The hydro dipped balls turned out beautifully! I have enjoyed doing the ornaments with painting the inside. Always a great gift. Thank you!

Make them as gifts for family and friends. You get to enjoy the project and they get to enjoy your generosity and the finished baubles for years to come!
You could also make a few and donate them to a nursing home or assisted living facility to add to their holiday decor.
Very pretty Gilly and no mess...Love it..!
Awesome love your color combinations.. Thank you for explaining everything as you go. I am very new at this and will definitely try these for Christmas. Love your balloon kisses and swipes.

So beautiful, I love them. Nice! And - 140k subs!!! Congrats!!! 🎉💕

They turned out beautiful!!!
Muy bueno !!!! 🤩🤩🤩
Oh Gilly, these turned out so pretty!! I especially loved the ones you poured the paint inside of them! Great project to do with grandkids! Did you have to keep wiping off the drips on the bottom of the hydro dipped ones? 🤗🥰💜

Thank you so much for this tip!
Love them

I used the ore made pouring paint 😁
Look up skull dipping, Elk, deer, ect. Pretty cool...
Very pretty . Glenis
Thank you ☺️
The first one reminded me of a Gingerbread man
🥰
Is it necessary to use something to 'seal' the paint inside the ornament?
I always do the inside. So much less mess.
They all are so beautiful. I became aware of the hydro paint method when my son hydro painted a walking cane for me in my favorite shades of purple.
I do have a question regarding the ornaments that you poured paints into.
Did you use the Glue All and water mixed into the paints?
No I used the mint marte pre made pouring paints 😆😆
I am trying this now, but struggling a bit.. Thank you for this video
I poured some acrylic paint mixed with Flotrol into some baubles. It didn’t stick very well. I think the problem is that I didn’t pre-rinse the insides with vinegar first.
You need to use water instead of Flortrol. Have you tried alcohol ink and white acrylic paint? Those are pretty too.
I find if you fill the bulbs with water before dipping you get a better dip.
@@maxfulmer3193 thanks for the advice 🤗
How long does it take for the poured ones to dry inside
I know its been 2 years..but.. at the beginning you just picked up an already orepared cup of paint and used it inside. What was it? Straight paint? Paint mixed with water? Thanks
She mixed her paint with water.

I just find the pre made paints stick really well, you can always when dry go over again or use spong with complimenting colour inside to fill gaps 😃😃
❤️❤️❤️
