I must say they are all so beautiful. I have buy ornaments and I shall try to paint them. It will be very intresting. And fun. And they will all not be same. Everyone are unique. And that is very fun.
Just a? I did some small Christmas bulbs awhile ago But I put the paint on the inside but some of the paint ended dripping out I just used flotrol and red or green paint they look k but should I have left out the flotrol to keep the paint in the bulb ty 🙋😊
They are all absolutely stunning Gilly! Fantastic job! Loved seeing you so excited and happy. I hope Capriole Creative still sell these baubles, as I'd love to try this. You should do some with your Prizm Pour paints! I can't believe it's only 6 weeks until Xmas! This year just flew by, which looking back, is a good thing. I'm looking forward to 2022, a new year, a new town and hopefully a much better year for everyone. Keep smiling my beautiful friend! 😀💜🙋♀️🥰🤗🎄🎉
Yes New year and it’s going to be an awesome year……..I’ve decided 😳😄🌈 yes capriole still have them I checked, yes it was so much fun and will try the PRIZM pour on them for sure 🥰
Gilly, these are quite magical for Christmas. They will look quite spectacular hanging on the tree or mantelpiece, reflecting the Christmas lights. I know a lot of people who like to give a Christmas bauble or ornament as a gift each year. We did that for our kids. Now they are grown, they have a great many to hang on their own trees. BTW, we had our first snowfall today in my area. Christmas is coming! Cheers!
I have these exact ornaments. Also the large disc shaped and did a bloom test on the latter. I had to work fast but blew with my mouth. I think it will look awesome when I seal it
Great idea Gilly, thanks for this. I looked on Amazon and you can get the baubles in packs of 8/ 10/20 for a reasonable amount and they also sell on eBay if anybody can’t get from Shabby Chic… And totally agree the pre made paints seem to work best for this, so thanks for that as well, you save us all not only our paint but pennies too, 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩❤️🇬🇧
WOW Gilly! They are all so gorgeous. My faves are the bell. The round with the fingerlings on the sides and the round with the face in the middle with the eyes. Love love love them. Awesomeness Gilly, great job. Did you have any trouble snapping them back together?💕🐹💕🤗💕
I use a product called Fusion pouring resin, it can be diluted a little and use soft cloth to wipe resin on your surface, link in description below video 😃
Can I ask how you then joined the two halves when they dried? Did you just click them together or paste them somehow and what resin would you use on them? Sorry I must drive you nuts. They are beautiful.
Well I did the inside one then tried some with the two halves, and just left them to dry. They are kind of gobby down the bottom where you screw them together so I can't screw them together. How did you not get that problem? My last question because you must be sick of me. Thanks, Belinda@@gillykubeart
Good morning Gilly, your video came up just as I was about to turn the computer off because its bedtime in South Africa. I'll catch up with you in the morning..
Oh Gilly! They are truly divine! I'm think No!!! Don't use any more black or they'll be swallowed up by it! Was I wrong or what?!!! They look sophisticated, like they could be sold in some high class jewelry shop for hundreds!!! Gawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwjus!!!!

L💗VE IT
Thank you 😊
Beautiful as always! I'm running out today for glass ornaments! I haven't heard of "Wipe on resin" before.
Those are beautiful, Gilly! I don't know where we can get the two part ornaments from around here. Truly gorgeous!
Thank you so much ☺️
You must show them when you put them on your tree x
I’m going to gift them to my children 😆 for keep sakes
They are absolutely gorgeous, can you tell me what you mean by wipe on resin ?
I use a product called Fusion pouring resin, it can be diluted a little and use soft cloth to wipe resin on your surface, link in description below video 😃
Have you ever used The Australian flu troll with a different colors of the the Amsterdam paint. I always wanna know if the blue green would work
Yes it works just as well 😆
Stunning! I can't wait to try this! Do you seal them?
Yes with a varnish or resin 😁
@@gillykubeart thank you!
Can I ask how you then joined the two halves when they dried? Did you just click them together or paste them somehow and what resin would you use on them? Sorry I must drive you nuts. They are beautiful.
Just click together easy 😄
Well I did the inside one then tried some with the two halves, and just left them to dry. They are kind of gobby down the bottom where you screw them together so I can't screw them together. How did you not get that problem? My last question because you must be sick of me. Thanks, Belinda@@gillykubeart
Good morning Gilly, your video came up just as I was about to turn the computer off because its bedtime in South Africa. I'll catch up with you in the morning..
Sleep well 😴 see you tomorrow x
I love watching you and have learned so much. Do you know where I can purchase the plastic bulbs in the U.S.?
Not sure as I’m in Australia but try my Amazon store in link in description 😊
Beautiful! Does the paint stay on well? I mean, does it peel off?
Yes it’s fine especially after a coat of varnish 😄😄
I just love your ideas and creations! I have a question though: instead of spray paint can I use any thinner oil based paint? Like, say, model paint?
I’m not sure because I haven’t tried but you can certainly give it a go, someone mentioned they use cheap nail polish 🤗
Very pretty!
How many children and grands do you have?
We have 5 children and 4 grandchildren 🤗
@@gillykubeart ❤️❤️
You need to separate them more they look like they’re touching… It is beautiful beautiful colors
Can the flotrole be added to a color other than black?
yes any colour :)
How do you join the two halves?
they just click together :)
