Who’s here in 2023 😅 currently doing this to my hair. Hoping for the best!
Thank you for being so straight to the point! I've been watching tutorials and reviews all day without feeling satisfied about product choices and methods, despite the other video creators using the same products and methods as you. Your video didn't dilute it's information with opinion and personal chatter and it has been so much more helpful
omg thankyou so so much 💖
Second that! Super helpful! Wasted so much time on other rambling videos.
I bleached my hair today looked just like this lady’s in this video 🤣 I used this method and it worked perfectly on my orange mess!! Thank you so much!! I will use this toner from now on!!
I’m currently dealing with the aftermath of the long process of removing my red hair dye and this was the most helpful video on RUclips for toning with that orange colour!! Every other video has yellow hair not significant orange tones, this has given me hope again!
Did it work on you? I'm the same I bleached my hair when I had red dye, n it came back orange. I havent yet tried to bleach or toned it.
I'm trying to get burgundy out right now and go blonde 😭😭 it's so hard ! 🤣🤣
Yellow hair looks good
Best toning video I’ve seen after watching countless ones in vain 😩 straight to the point 👌🏽
whos stuck her with orange hair watching this video
Lifesaver!!! It worked! Going blonde for the first time after have layers of black & been frustrated with the stubborn brassy orange tones! Finally something that worked! My hair went from a vibrant orange coppery color to light ash brown I loveee it!! Thank you so much 😍
this was sooo helpful. i’m going blonde for the first time and started to get really frustrated and overwhelmed that my ends wouldn’t stop being gold/orange and i tried looking at so many videos but everyone was overly explaining so i was fretting very confused but this was completely straight to the point and soooo helpful :)) i hope this works on mine cause my hairs a little more gold
Did the t14 and 050 work?
Blue takes out orange. And violet take out yellow.
How did it turn out? How long did it last?
Same here. My hair is gold right now. I want ash blonde hair. Help! Haha
Wow. Huge improvement. Going from 15 years of box black has been a chore, after bleaching several times, my hair was orange, yellow, brassy and trashy. This method really transformed my hair, not as light as the video, but a very ladylike ash blonde. Thanks so much.
But yellow brassy hair looks good
Yes easy. straight to point. You showed us what product. How to apply. You showed before and after. Best video I’ve seen so far.
Saved my life today. Ive looked like a carrot, going on three days now. 😌😝😂
Lmaol
Lmaooooooooo 🤣🤣🤣
mami Williams LMAO A CARROT! I love this comment 😂😂
I’ve looked like a carrot for 1 month lol
Carrot lol
You are a lifesaver! I only had my hair done at the salon recently but after washing it, all the toner they used has disappeared and left me with a light yellow colour, purple shampoo was not cutting it 😂
Thanks for being so specific with the instructions. I watched several videos on how to tone my own platinum blond and yours was perfect.
😛😛 thankyou!!
Realizing Wella doubled their prices on these but girl OMG the best video , straight on point, perfect results. Thank ya
This is literally the most honest video I’ve ever seen I love it
I used this today on my hair! My hair was fuschia, then black, and then I bleached it. The black came all the way out, but there was still a lot of reddish orange tones in my hair. I tried a Joico toner and it didn’t do much for me, but I tried this and it worked WONDERS! I also added some olaplex to my mixture and my hair feels amazing!
Thank God you’re a life saver. I’ve been watching so many videos on how to take out this ugly orange root. I thought I had to re-bleach my entire hair. Thank you. You save me time and my wallet. Thank you very much. New subscriber. 💙😊🤗
From where you can buy this products to remove my orange hair pls
This works! Thank you!!!! When T18 did not work nor did purple shampoo this did help to lighten and take away the orange.
I just want to say thank you so much! Other videos kept saying use t18. My hair was so orange and after using the t18 like so many you tubers said to use it didn’t change at all. I went out and did exactly what you said to do and all the orange is gone now. Again thank you so much.
so happy ur hair is saved 🥳♥️
Same for me I'm going to try t14
BRUHH I JUST WASTED MY MONEY AND USED/bought T18 I’m sad 😞... I will have to try this
T18 is for blonde hair with yellow tint. I heard Sally employees tell everyone to buy T18.
the hair result at the start of this video is so soothing
yesss toning my hair tomorrow i’m glad this confirmed that it’s actually work because i was scared my hair would just stay orange
Thanks for the easy-to-the-point tutorial. I’m running 🏃🏼♀️ to Sally’s now to take off this chicken head hair 😭
i’m glad mami!! lol
It works?
Did it work?
Literally MEEE RN 😂😂!
Yup
The fact that you literally showed step by step and straight to the point just amazing!! Would it be bad if I used purple conditioner after toning or shld I wait to let my hair breathe?
I cannot express this enough, YOU ARE A LIFESAVER
Play with the amount of the 050 additive. I only use 2 cap fulls & it's just the right amount of silver. Use a bit of this additive anytime you tone & it will eliminate the brassy orange. Only thing that works for my hair!
what does the 050 do??
I know it’s an old video but your video was the only one that did not do so much talking explaining. Just saved me from looking like carrot top 😢. Thank you for sharing your videos.
This was the fastest yet throurough video I found after many. Thank you. I was stressing out with so many different advices from other videos but urs is simply to the point ❤
This worked great on my orangey/yellow hair but instead I used Wella T11 toner, I left it on my hair for 40 minutes, I forgot to wet my hair first but regardless the results are beautiful, no more orange hair. Thank you so much for this video it’s a lifesaver
I always use just the t14 alone and never get the color I want, definitely trying this next time!
So how it worked?
Blonde brilliance in shade platinum
Thank you for this! I really do think my Sally’s is setting me up just to spend more.
Ok so this worked BUT not right away. My hair did turn and stay blue when it dried, then the next day started turning green and I was freakin. BUT THEN, by the end of the next day it was an ashy blonde 🤷♂️
I just tried this and my hair is blue too LOL
Better than orange hair just saying.
Flawed Beauty right I’d rather be blue than orange at this point 😂😂😂
I feel like this depends on whatever color you had on previously, that you had lifted to tone. If that makes sense. Some colors have greens, reds, and blue tones in them. I've had the green tint, too.😄😄🤣
I think mine has a green tint too? Did you leave it like that or did you do anything to it lol
YES. Lifesaver! I can't wait til my beauty supply opens tomorrow morning!! 🙏🙏🙏
Probably one of the best vids showing how to get rid of the orange and yellow at same time
I think out of all vids ive watched i like uurs best to use and your voice is very professional
CoVid Hair! I looked @ all the videos on youtube before doing ANYTHING. I am by no means experienced or knowledgeable. I followed these instructions using T14 solution. This video BY FAR was not only clearly instructed but 100% successful I am happy to report. My hair is amazing and I am thrilled with the results. THANKS! Conditioning at the end with GOOD QUALITY condition is paramount.
wow, thankyou so much for this comment! you made my day 🥺♥️
@@SectionC hii! I have a question... if I just wanted to keep my a bit of my natural hair black on my roots without dying them, is it possible to bleach everything else except the roots & then tone only the bleached parts?
Why can’t you use conditioner after shampooing your hair before toning
Thank you for this magical video 😅 Idk how I've never heard of T50!
For anyone else starting mostly light blonde (Level 9+) with stubborn bits of orange (Level 8), I used the same ratio of T18* + T50 with 15vol and got great results. It came out a pretty steel gray color.
OMG this helped me so much!
My hair is currently platinum and orange lol I will be flying to Sally's tomorrow! ✈️
Thank you so much for your detailed delivery! 🙏🏼🙌🏼
I ran to the store and purchased everything shown here! It’s sitting on my head right now and I’m hoping for the best!! Update soon here
The update ?!!
Omg! Thank u for being straight forward with this and showing how simple it really can be!
This is one of the best ones I've seen using ONLY the Wella 050 as a toner.
Good video, was well done, to the point without wasting everyone’s time with added nonsense. 😊 but I’m curious as to why only use 60% of the T14 in the mixture? Thanks to anyone that knows why and comments
You did an amazing job on her hair!! Beautiful!!! 🤩 ❤️🎉
Thanks, i was looking for something like that... next days i will go from dark Box dye to grey. Didnt know it works in carrot hair so i gave up last time and colored the orange mess brown again.
Thanks so much I had to do my roots the bottom of my hair looks normal but the top 3 inches look like that peachy color and I was wondering what mixture to use to tone it down. Nice simple and easy to understand. So grateful!
thankyou so much!!
Omg I’ve been searching for a perfect tutorial. Thank you so much!!! What a life saver
I’m very happy, indeed it ‘s cheep and simple ,yet great result. Thanks million
I like the color combinations but you need to measure the developer that's very important especially for color correction
Agreed
Bleached my hair 3 times and toned and the brass orange won’t go away, I’m going to to try this!!!
Did it work ?
I tried this and my hair turned out darker than this did, idk if I didn’t use enough toner or what happened. I tried to use the same ratios you described and it is a bluish-grey which isn’t bad, buuuuut was hoping it would be a lot more silvery like the video, and my hair wasn’t as orange as that was! Not sure. Still better than brassy yellow
Unfortunately, I can't find 050 at Sally's anymore. It used to be a life saver. 😔 but I do have T14 so maybe I'll give it a try.
Did you do t14 alone? I got t14 but not the 50..
I tried this on my hair and it didn't work :( i didn't think it would but I was hopeful, the lady is the video looks like she's between a yellow and orange color at the start. Mine was a little more orange, if hair is ACTUALLY orange it is usually not light enough to tone into a light blonde like this. Probably have to do a bleach bath on it to get it light enough. But her hair turned out beautifully, I wish I was as lucky. Very good video.
I did this and it turned out amazing! Thanks so much
I have to try this in the morning... I just bleached my hair twice and the ends are orange. I did use the t18 for 25 minutes and that did help but I want my natural gray back. Thanks for the video.
Great video n to the point. No speeches n boring explanations. Thx!
You are about to save my moms hair I kinda fucked it up yesterday let’s seee how it goes pray for me ......thank you for sharing with us
Was your mother’s hair a red/ orange? Could you post an update on how it turned out? I just messed up my mom’s hair tonight 🙏
Update, after I had previously bleached that’s where I thought I fucked up but no the bleach was left on no more than 45mins as recommended and then i went and did one T14 bottle and then 2 T50 worked great left on no more than 30mins ps, I bought the bottles not knowing shit I’m just glad and it worked watching this video thought me a lot I just got lucky
@@dexbenne kinda yes bleached
Oweeee girl, thanks a million lol. I attempted to bleach my hair yesterday and ended up with orange patchy hair, I have work today and was stressing it. Watched your video, headed over to Sally’s to buy the products you used and now my hair looks “normal” 😅
@Lils what color did you end up with?
Zzz Zzz I dyed my hair like the girl in the video for a few weeks then I used artic fox temporarily while my hair recovered and now I’m back back to my jet black hair 🤦🏻♀️
Zzz Zzz it had come out like the girl in the video. Like an ashy blonde but it fades quick because it is just a toner so it does not last and you constantly have to do it which is why I just went back to dark with artic fox temporarily while my hair recovered
@@Dainty213 my hair is currently yellow from top and orange mid section to the bottom since bleaching it, and I'm trying to tone it so I want to know if it really would catch! Did you use all three toners?
Zzz Zzz I did use all 3. I think it should work since each toner is for a different color.
Do not use 20 volume with toner 5 vol or 10 volume should be used. You will cause unnecessary damage using 20 volume.
Thank you so much. My first time going platinum, this was really helpful.
Was wondering, what shampoo and conditioner did you use??
The audacity of the ppl who disliked this video ,,, she did an excellent job
The best video! Thank you for this! I have wasted soooooo much time watching videos. You rock!
Just saying brushing wet hair can break the ends use a wide tooth come
THANKYOU ,i appreciate that you get to the point , your explaining is easy+ understandable. I will SO do this.
Thanks! Not exact results as the video, but 100% much better than the yellow/orange.
This is beautiful. My question is what if it's a more darker orange? I did a bleach bath on my hair. I am typically medium to dark brown. I wish I could show you a picture. I did use t14 with a filler and I also added in t18. And no I am truly still a ginger. I wish I could send a picture because I was a cosmetologist for many years a long time ago. I'm 56 and I know my color wheel but apparently I got sidetracked left the bleach bath on too long because I have super long hair and for me it's hard to put highlights through on my own. But I have so much gray now and I need to lighten it because as I age my darker drabby hair washes me out. Anyway, any advice on what to do? I don't even care if it's a shader too dark or at this point, but it is a vibrant orange
It was funny how my mom always wanted this color and no hairdressers wanted to do it(some of them where she goes they’re old school not educated hair wise ) keep in mind she was in highlights and it wasn’t a drastic change like black to ashy and hairdresser we found was charging 300$ like something like this in my area that’s what they charged so pretty much saved her $$$$
Thx for making a short video that gets the things done. You saved some people's sanity lol. thank you girl
Almost seems too good to be true ❤ thank you so much for the to the point informed video 🙌🏽
Thanks for getting to the point unlike everyone else on yt great video
T14 and Wella 50 mixed together but no t18? Did I get this Right?
How many times did your client bleach her hair ? And what’s a best shampoo and conditioner for this type of color ? Thank you
Where has this been all my life recently went blonde n I just can’t get that orange out from old red hair definitely trying this this week
I died my hair and used the T-18 instead of the T-14 and my hair is still orange on top it basically did nothing 😂 thank you for the advice though! I’m about to go grab the T-14.
Kiana Campbell did the t14 do the job n get u blond? I bleached my hair i was orange n t18 didn’t doc anything after 30 min. That was 2 weeks ago. Ive been nurturing my hair n idk if i should bleach again or use t14 toner.
I'm gonna try t14. T18 is trash!
Did it work I'm in the same position
It’s kinda grey/ green toned though. Better than orange for sure but I’m starting to think that the Wella toners are not so great all the time….maybe try Redken shades eq. They seem to do a fabulous job.
Tried this going from black box die to grey ish hair omg my hair looks so good!
Where can I buy the developer babe! This tutorial is amazing I’m sat here with orange brassy hair and I’m so self conscious to leave the house at this point! I’m gunna order the products in xxx
You’re a life safe my hair is yellow!!! Haven’t been able to get it to white tone! Thank you I will definitely do this today
u welcome babe! lmk how it goes
Hi babe! Thanks for this video ! I used this method but I think I left it to long witch gave me a darker gray , how should I light it up ?
Okay I need to try this, I’ve used both of these toners before but the videos I’ve watched said use only a little bit of the 050 so my base color is still a ginger color
This is awesome!!! Have just ordered these products can’t wait
How did it go? I just ordered my products, gonna try it tonight?
@@CV-cg9yg did it works for you ?
Hey guys sorry just saw this! YES it absolutely worked, I was so happy! Cooled down so quickly
you said its blue but that is purple so hard to find blue toner, and 18 looks more blue than 14.
My hair looks amazing now!
How long did you leave it for?
Thank you very much! I'm gonna try it out next week! I'm really excited!!!!
this is the only video that's truly helped me. thank u sm
Straight to the point ! Love it ! Thank you !!!!
Hi !! So my hair is ORANGE ORANGE WITH dark spots should i bleach my hair & use these steps? Or should i just go straight to this
bleach again to even out the color then follow these steps
My hair is damaged. Do you suggest me do a protein treatment before or after this? And how long before/after?
I've heard people say that semi-permanent coloring doesn't stick on toned hair. Is this true? Because I'd like to use this method to get the brassy tones out before I dye my hair again.
Beautiful results but I always thought it was a few caps of 050 to whichever toner you used
The client has orange brassy hair, so a full bottle of 050 in this case would be perfect to tone out all the brasiness. :)
The mix and pour, mix and pour without measuring makes me wanna cry
Thank you for this video! Im going to try toning my orange hair soon
My hair isn't that light. It's darker. I literally cannot get rid of the peachy Color. I'm not going to bleach again because I've already bleached twice. Chopped off 2 inches. I understand hair grows back but I've been growing my hair out for a while and hair is my biggest thing. If I chop my hair off, I'm going back to extensions.
Hi can you please advise me, Ive never done my own hair before, its very light blonde with darkish roots Id love to try a wella toner n developer but dont wanna look ashy.I just want bright light blonde..Thankyou..Great Video Straight to the point..T.Y.
.
I am going to do this tommarow I’m walking into places forced looking like Eliza Thorn Berry
I put in a few small and larger lightened streaks in my dark brown hair in different locations but unfortunately most of it turned out very brassy (i think let my solution sit too long unused due to needing to go pick up kids and other household duties including great dane puppy potty emergencies! 😂). Id like to make it mire blond so i can then add select colors on the streaks and create some fun combinations. It is difficult to re-hit all the same strands of hair i initially colored, now mostly brassy! So i was wondering what might happen if i put this toner all over the sides of my head and hair including the unbleached areas? Or should i just try really hard to reselect all the same random sections i did before?
Also i did deposit a semi permanent wash out color in purple on top in sections, and on other pieces pink. I hate the pin though because it then made everything look more orange including the brassy blond areas i chose not to add any additional color too. The purple is better though of course. Im surprised how differently those 2 colors took to the hair and impacted the overall look. Will i need to strip this stuff off first or can i just wash a couple times to make it paler, then use this toning solution? 🤷🏻♀️
btw I love the silver hair too but as of now ill just do whatever makes it look best overall and not too much orange or gold. Thank you so much for any suggestions! This is fun for me to get to be creative with my own hair and i dont like going to salons as it takes too long and no parking, traffic jams, etc. i like staying at home or close by with more family time and time for doing chores (thus why i dont do this at the “salon” , if people ask; which generally charges me exorbitant prices, and never ends up being the way I want it anyway because they always do things so symmetrical and I don’t color totally symmetrical - its more like art to me! 😉🥰
I did this last night and my hair was the exact same colour as your clients & as been bleached twice earlier yesterday. It’s gone A strange green Colour... how would I fix this? The roots are perfect silver but the yellow bits in my hair must have reacted with the toner. Should I use a purple shampoo?
@Kim hey did you ever do your hair and fix it ? My hair is currently like the before in this video and i don’t want to bleach it again and then have this issue. Lmk pls !!
I never understood with the toning and the sectioning because essentially you’re toning for 15 to 30 minutes ; and at that point the toner is all over the head . so what does it matter if you pour it on your head, or on the roots first? Curious lol
oh my lord, this was so simple and helpful. thank you so much!!!
I followed the steps above to a "T" and used the exact products; however, my hair turned out a lot darker, even though the bleach color looked almost identical. It looks like a medium to dark "mushroom" color. Not a bad color, very ashy, which I wanted, but I was hoping for the result from the video, much lighter. I do not know what went wrong.
Omg thank you!!!! My hair is the same exact colour as your client!! I’m going to Sally’s tmrw to get the toners! I love you thank you so much 🥰🥰🥰
u welcome!!!
If I do NOT bleach my hair, will this mixture cover my greys? No matter how ashy a colour I lighten my hair with, it always turns out brassy, but I don't want to damage it with bleach, so I will just dye it, but this time with 050 mixed in! I hope it covers my greys! : )
