I am joining the National Guard I'm 29 years old. I attended drill weekend as a guest. And I got to be honest I absolutely fell in love. Granite I did not pass the acft. But most of all I never gave up and I never quit. My question for you how many guys or girls will be around our age
Hell yeah, never quitting is what it’s about! Acft is something that you can build up too and get better over time, but at least you stuck with it. So honestly I met quite a few soldiers that where in the 25-29 range. It’s like a nice sweet spot age to join. I would say if I had 50 people in my dorm bay about 25 of them were in that age range maybe 2 or 3 over 30 and the rest were 24 or below.

Is the army still tough as nails or have they gotten softer from "woke" policies? I hear horror stores from my marine buddy on how they've gotten very lax or aren't allowed to be as tough anymore. I just wanna know if I join that I'll get a good investment and not a weak experience

I’m really confused, army already changed that uniform. Is it ok to wear it uniform for now ? I really like it
It’s just for our unit out here in the desert to wear during rotations. We also wear OCPs during the normal work week.
Im just curious, thats a very old uniform, i didnt know the army still used it
We use it as OPFOR during rotation to separate ourselves from the rotational unit
