    This was filmed the day before I got a stomach virus 🦠 so it took a minute to upload

      @@victorgibson8587 Absolutely bro, same to you! You were one of the people who convinced me it's not a terrible idea to enlist as someone in their 30s. I'll be waiting on more content, I'll be keeping up with your channel

    I’ve always regretted not giving my service to our country. I’m 30 and know there is still time to. How do I take the jump? Push myself to follow through? It’s something that’s been growing on my mind and heart.

      You just have to dig really deep for your reason. It’s like jumping off a building, with birds flying by, and a few people that will jump with you fall, the ground is there and you determine what it’s made of. If you’re going to do it, you’ve got to be ready to commit, it’s nonstop for 2-4 years at least. It will be the most mentally challenging, life changing, amazing, and memorable thing you’ll ever do.

      truthfully, being one that's around Victor's age and looking back at life, I wish I had decided to enlist. if I could make a recommendation, make that move - enlist.

      Thank you for watching! If I could go back in time I would have joined at your age. Maybe the Air Force 😅 only to possibly retire at the age I’m at now. Everything that is meant for you to do will happen when it’s supposed too. Just stay focused and committed to being the best version of yourself and you’ll do great!

      @@victorgibson8587 when you posted your first video. I felt influenced to join, but I needed to finish my degree. I graduated in May. Currently, I am in the process of enlisting with the air national guard. I was stuck between the Army national guard and the air national guard, but I figure to join the air force because most of my family are in the air force, but I'm excited to see your upcoming videos. Stay safe out there brother. 🙏🏾

    Ive been wanting to join up, ive been a auto mechanic for 10 years. Would you recommend 91B or 91L?

    • @victorgibson8587
      @victorgibson8587  11 месяцев назад +1

      If you enjoy it, 91b, but both get worked. But if there’s anything else you’ve ever wanted to try in life, study up for the asvab and get and decent score and go for it. If it doesn’t work , you can always reclass (change occupations) back to a 91

      @victorgibson8587 19k is what I'm most interested in to be honest. Was thinking 91b just because it's what I'm familiar with.

    Do you know if I could get waivers for a couple misdemeanors? I think it may be because of laughtenberg amendment. Thanks for advice.

    • @victorgibson8587
      @victorgibson8587  Год назад +1

      If they are not serious offenses, it is up to the discretion of the military. I was able to get in with a waiver. I just had to write a letter describing the situation. What I learned and what I’ve done to be better since the incident. Don’t fret to much about it tho, that’s where the recruiter comes in. I hope this helped!
