@@2funny269because it takes time to complete pre delivery cleaning and inspection. Also, sometimes the customers can’t come in immediately to pick up their cars.
Tesla produces vehicles made to order. They do not produce to inventory like other legacy auto makers. Tesla has very few "inventory" vehicles. These are usually show room vehicles and test drive vehicles.
There are some restrictions on who can actually buy the cars. I see cars in Mass every day that are sitting on Tesla lots, but I can't purchase any of them because I live in a neighboring state, and Mass requires the car to be registered in Mass,
Just to be clear. I worked for tesla in buena park california. We had 2 overflow lots holding about 600 cars. They are bought from the overflow lot after being detailed to the service center to be delivered to customers. We delivered to customers between 50 and 100 cars per day. So the cars are being turned over every few days. It’s not rocket science, but if you look at the overflow lot at a point in time you will be bound to make the wrong conclusion. You’re welcome!!!
You said it is a dealer now you say it is overflow lot , it seem all you try to do is to show tesla is not selling there cars, all the Cybertruck are there for the customer to pickup, all Cybertruck are free order t and as of now there are 2 million orders. Who paid you to smear Tesla there are a lot of you who doing these thing trying to degrades Tesla is it because they are leading the Electric car sales... Show the other Dealers and honestly compare them...
That’s the nearby tesla service center 🤣. Those are in for repairs and test drive vehicles and newly built vehicles. Tesla doesn’t have dealers - only direct to consumer. They don’t need to build if the demand isn’t there unlike all others.
Thanks for clarifying to this idiot who does not know the difference between a dealership and service center. Why is this guy even bothering to show this video?
I know this place in Austin and usually there aren't that many vehicles parked, likely overflow from giga texas. Similar Tesla overflow lots are popping up all across the US.
if it's hot then they need to keep the battery cool if it's cold then it needs to keep the battery warm so your futuristic toy uses more charge for everything else but range what an innovative approach to cars imagine you park your gas car and after a day half the gas is gone amd you can't even stop it it's literally spending your hard earned Money just to sit in one place well if governments force all ppl to drive these things no one will go anywhere and nothing will get done btw there's already several EV ambulances up in flames with a patient on board and these morons want to swap schools buses to EVs it's just insanity i wonder how much Money these cars will take from your pocket to just cool and warn the battery when parked let say for 24h plus 3 times higher insurance 10x higher repair bills more tire wear and break pad wear plus now paying per mile driving taxes cause you won't be paying gas taxes it's a nightmare in 10 years EVs if they are still a thing will cost literally over 10 times what they cost now and now they cost 10 times more then regular cars with all the bills you pay after purchase
Yeah plus they are all parked side by side, as was learned in the scrap yards when one ev goes up everything around it goes up as well, so they imparted a 15 meter safety zone around each vehicle for a reason, theyve taken down multiple ships at this point.
I can't believe the level of fanboy comments. 1) Most of the cars don't have plates so they're not in for service. 2) If they were all in for service, I'd be wondering why they're having so many problems. 3) Telsa doesn't wait till you order a car to build it. They match cars that are prebuilt to your order just like traditional auto makers. That's just how assembly line production works. 4) Their 1st quarter earnings report said they had 45k+ unsold cars on hand. 5) They wouldn't have had to lay off so many workers if all those cars were already sold.
Tesla does NOT have dealers. They only have Service and Delivery Centers.
trade ins, service, and pre delivery vehicles. Unlike petrol lots these are all sold sir.
It is difficult to determine, by definition the ones with fans running cannot have been there long.
why would there be so many pre deliveries? what is the delay?

If the cars are there it's because they have been paid for. So they are waiting for collection or they are being serviced.
None of them have window stickers because they are all SOLD. Cringe video
I had to wait seven weeks after ordering to get my Model 3. just sayin"...

OMG. They are parking some telsa outside of a telsa store and service center.
It looks like you showed a bunch of vehicles that are either in for service or waiting to be picked up by the new owner
Exactly.

You must be the smartest man around! All those EV buyers are so dumb .. wonder how they got the money to buy expensive things.
Absolute non story, it is nota dealership"in the sense of the word, Poor reporting
its not a Tesla only thing...shit brands like jeep....ford .vw..all of them can't sell in this economy
yeah imagine in a bad economy - that would be a disaster

Trust me, no one will pay you.
They're good cars. The company is just badly managed and the stock price reflects that.
