The model S is perfect found a ‘22 in my price range. Then I learned that in Michigan it costs about $550 a month to insure. So I went with a model y… haven’t received it yet, but I’m sure I’ll love it.
This was a wonderful video. Now that its 2024 the model Y has the point of sale credit of 7500. Happy New Year.

Right on time. I"ve been looking for some real world comparisons between the two. I'm in the market. The S looks better but doesn't sit as high as I would like, S is the best out of the S3XY models. The Y is more practical but just can't bring myself to buy it since so many people have it. The S still has some utility space with the hatchback, I like that. How is the Handshow screen you installed on the Model Y - does it void the warranty? If that works will, perhaps then I should pull the trigger on the less expensive model (y) and then customize it.
After hours of driving Tesla's SEXY line-up, I picked the model X for section 79 tax code reasons plus more. If the model Y was over 5k lbs gross vehicle weight, I would have picked that for my business. There are many great reasons why model Y became THE best selling car in the 🌎 last year!
You really can't go wrong with any of Tesla's models if u choose based on your actual lifestyle or business.
The 'unsexy' topic of SAFETY most people do not mention when talking Tesla is actually my # 1 reason I went with this brand 4 my personal/ business ride of choice.
Yes....they top the list for safest vehicles in the world.
The Cybertruck that just came out last November is now my new # 1....can't wait to receive mine. Nice video guys....enjoy your cars.
Nice video. If you use your cars mainly for yourselves, then the S is more masculine and sleek and the Y is more feminine and spacious. Y wins for value for money.

Good review ! I am interested in knowing how different is the air suspension when driven over bumps compared to Y. With the latter I find the tail gate rattles when driven over rough surfaces . I have 19 inch Gemini wheels on comfort suspension (2023 variant )

Model Y for me because Tesla refuse to make The S or X in RHD 😢
There is no standard Model S at least not for the 2021-2024 years. The current Model S has two trims: the Plaid w/1020hp-1050tq and the Long Range w/670hp-738tq. That’s it. Other than height the Model Y has nothing over the Model S, IMO.
"Sprited Driving" only for the Model Y Performance?? It can keep up with a Jeep Trackhawk!! That's nothing to sneeze at!!
Oh...and which Model S is that? 🤔. If its not the Plaid...then you might be surprised when you try racing that Y. 😁
Not even close. Real facts, the Model Y does 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 11.8@114-115mph. The Model S long range which is the one in the video does 0-60 in 3.1 seconds and the 1/4 mile in 10.6@128-129mph. The Model S will DESTROY a Model Y and Model 3 Performance.
