  • Here is my Ozark Trail tent with couch, queen bed, bathroom, camp kitchen, and air conditioning. This tent is available at Walmart, along with the GE air conditioner, it's 10000 btu and you will need all of this type of unit to cool it off in 98-degree heat with a heat index of over 102 degrees. This video was made to help all who may be struggling coming out of the pandemic to enjoy a weekend or more somewhere camping and do it affordably!

I get why some would say why have these things when camping. I do it for the lake and the views. That I can’t get at my house. We need lights and air conditioning is a plus. Coffee maker and a game table for games.we use cots for our beds. No TV’s our kayaks is the entertainment. All our fishing gear and an electric burner. I wouldn’t want to have to pack all that up after staying at the lake a few days and wouldn’t want to haul that much stuff but it is a nice setup. 🤘🏼

Interesting point in that it DOES slightly compete with an RV. It serves much the same type of premium luxury camping needs. I am amazed that it can get the tent that cool in the Summer day. At night it would have a much easier time. Great set up. Three main rooms-- Kitchen, Living Room, Bedroom. East your breakfast on the couch watching TV. Very nice setup and smart thinking.

Intex makes some really great stuff! I'm a big guy (6'5" 245) and I am hard on cheap furniture. The inflatable stuff is really conformable, packs down to almost nothing, and it's really well built for the price. I've got a queen bed similar to yours that I've had nearly a decade. I still camp with it and use it as a guest bed. I even used it as my full-time bed for a while after a move.

I hope ozark trail starts making some larger form factor clamshell-style tents specifically designed for portable dual hose air conditioners. Single hose ac's suck, literally, because they have to blow out indoor air you just spent energy cooling to cool the radiator which blows out the hose. Dual hose ones fix that by using the outdoor air to cool the radiator. Also no reason a tent shouldn't pop up in ten seconds like a hunting blind or an ice fishing shack.
