Many people are experiencing this situation not only in the Philippines but all over the world, there is nothing wrong if this is their fate and fate in life but even so, even though other people think they are poor, they still do it even difficult to survive in life, the most important thing is that they live without being trampled on by people.
I'm retired in Cebu City. My wife and I were eating at Jolie Bees at the I.T park one night and we both ordered chicken and rice. After getting done eating and just looking around, at our table outside, a young man came and sat down by us and started eating our left over bones, picking over them. I was stunned and offered to buy him a meal. When the meal came, he didn't eat it, he said he had already ate enough off from our chicken bones and the meal was for his 6 siblings at home.

Seeing the poor siee of the Philippines doesnt mean the whole Phils is uneducated and poor..if the educational system is poor, foreign students will no longer come over to study in the Phils..and mind you, if you happen to walk our streets and ask around in english, even street vendors can understand and communicate with english better than you do..we can even speak 2 languages at the same time: Filipino and English plus other dialects that we have depending on the province we came from..Dont ever belittle the Filipinos or our country especially if you havent been here. Your countrt might even be worst..by tye way, we have all kinds of Engineering courses offered even in our publuc universities like Civil, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, you name it. 2 of my girl cousins are licensed Engineers. That guy mining in Paracale is my cousin’s husband. My dad plans on making a car wash business soon to get him out of that dangerous job. These people are such hard workers for so little money. Every time I go to the Philippines to visit family I am humbled by their life situation. Yet even with such hardship they are still so happy and appreciative for what little they have. Thank you for sharing and creating this documentary for the world to see.

For anyone who may be curious about it: the word "pagpag" essentially means "to brush off" or "to dust off." Also "to shake off." Ever heard of the 5 second rule? Food fell on the floor, hasn't been 5 seconds yet, you pick it up, brush off any visible dirt or what have you, and still consider it good enough to eat, so you do.
Born and raised in the Philippines. Been in the States for 24 years. I'm very lucky not growing up dirt poor. I feel so bad for my fellow Filipinos who are struggling to put food on the table everyday. One thing. One thing though, we are very resilient. It takes a lot to bring Filipinos down. Of course, they are a beautiful people. They deserve better. I hate how white old men, go to the Philippines to basically buy a wife. Old disgusting men, with young beauties, for all I know you could be one of them. It even goes as far as women basically selling their daughters online, in hopes they marry outside. Basically to bring money to them so they can live better. Many a pinay move to Saudi Arabia, to be molested, but they tolorate it because they can't get visas anywhere else. Their demographic according to the World Bank, in 2021 was 113.9 Million. Their country is smaller than many tiny European countries and surpass them demographically. So let's be real here! That is severe overpopulation. The only way to succeed for many, is fleeing the overpopulated country of the Philippines, and many do. The women are lucky, they can marry out. The boys and the men are less lucky. They are stuck. This is something that needs to be addressed, in a Catholic country I don't see it happening. Parents living out of shopping carts with 5-6 kids is an issue. Out of a shopping cart... With five to six kids! Poor kids are lucky to eat PagPag. They are overpopulated and they are growing even now as we speak. I guess it is Europe and U.S.A's responsibility to care for them?
My first exposure to extreme poverty was as a U.S. Navy sailor in Subic Bay, where we layed over for fitting out of my ship on the way to Viet Nam. I was stunned by the resilience and positive attitudes of the citizens of Olongapo City, a makeshift quagmire of bars, brothels and bodegas. I had never imagined that the human spirit could thrive so well in such a filthy hell hole. Philippino people since then have always had my respect and admiration.
As a Filipino who was born to working class parents who then immigrated to give their kids better opportunities in life I am so grateful for my childhood and culture. We were thankfully never in poverty (not exactly well-off either) but we were happy with what we had and my parents would tell me the sacrifices my grandparents made to make sure my parents could eat fresh food.
My fiancé grew up just outside of Naga City, one of five kids. She was born at home in a grass hut. All five children made it through college. I have never met more resourceful and resilient people. Mahal na mahal kita, Josephine.

I visited my family in Cebu Dalaguette and I remember we finished our meal, and children came from under the table to eat our bones, my heart has never been the same since! Proud to be half Filipina but devastated for poverty that goes on there. 🙏🏼 I’ve never met friendlier people than Filipinos! Especially the poor. I was in Bicol region this June, because my family lives there, we also went to Paracale. The Filipino people are so nice, so humble, and so immensely resourceful in finding ways to make ends meet, i have so much respect for them, and for me it was a humbling and valuable visit, and it taught me a lot, in how to appreciate things.
My father was born in bicol, never met my relatives only few a few of them . wish thing were different .my Father came to the United States in 1979 died in 1988 .
Born and raise in Hawaii. I had many friends and work with many Filipina people. I can honestly say almost all are very sincere, caring, and very generous people. They work so hard, but they dont mind sharing thier fruits of labor with family and friends. God bless to all my friends.

I’m in Tennessee and I feed my chicken black soldier fly larva. Best damn food I’ve ever given them, literally can’t buy this level of nutrients and engagement for them anywhere. Really cool part is our system for collective larva is also taking care of the of certain kinds of waste and making incredible fertilizer for the spring and summer.

Yes the people are nice but eating from trash is not good, There are many diseases and sickness from this trash food. Its probably cooked in gutter oil too its just not healthy. The people who cook the trash need to be transitioned to cook real food. The government should give these people a basic welfare to cover food costs. So,, No this is not acceptable, the Filipino people deserve better, no human anywhere should accept this.

Now I know why my.father a WWII soldier who was in the Philippines for 2yrs 2mos and 2days wanted to go back for a visit before he passed. He talked about how beautiful the islands were ,the sands so white and the waters clear. The shells were plentiful,large with many colors. He learned the language and loved the people. When he was 82 in the hospital he had an entire conversation with his Filipino nurse. I thought he was speaking in tongs due to the medication. But the nurse told me he was talking to her .
Ive lived as retired American these last 5 years in Philippines. This is a great opportunity to see human survival spirit in action in absolutely deplorable conditions. The chickens, by the way, are also raised in factory farms under deplorable conditions and GMO modified to be animals that in no way could survive in the wild without being medicated with stuff that keeps their overweight bodies alive. The irony is we live in a country rich in resources and rich in technology. The only problem being ,we , as a world, have subordinated these resources and technologies to paper fiat currency and now look what we have? We have a broken system that only those who are born lucky can thrive while millions in ghettos live like this, destroying environment and just getting by, for this thing we call money, everyday. 😢There must be a better way to live , love, and learn on this planet together . A resources based economy but that would take a world willing to include all peoples working living loving and learning together.😊
I know this won't be a popular topic due to the fact that there's so much human suffering in this video. However, your comment about animals being factory farmed and deplorable conditions is spot on and makes me sad. As an animal rescue worker who has broken into factory farms and taking pictures.. these travesties are the stuff of nightmares everywhere around the world.

These people are extremely resilient and flexible. Hats off to them. The air compressor, wow. I've seen Sri Lankan fishermen using one when deep sea diving/fishing on a boat slightly bigger than a canoe! I live in a third world country, South Africa and we have similar issues. There are so many illegal immigrants coming into the country, endangering themselves by mining in similar environments. Life is tough and only the strong will survive.
I'm glad you showed to the world what's not usually being shown by the Philippine mainstream media about our country. Our govt does nothing to alleviate the poverty of these people. These people, especially those in the slums, are the most neglected.

I absolutely love my beautiful Filipino wife. Will be married 27yrs in a couple days, her family is incredible and also a very tight knit group of ppl. Her grandfather who was born in the Philippines, fought for the Philippines and somehow became an American soldier during WW2, survived the Bataan death March, survived the war, later stationed in New Mexico where my father-in-law became a US citizen. Talk about never knowing where you'll end up in life. I've never been to the Philippines but if the ppl there are anything like my in-laws and wife then they truly are an amazing people. I feel really lucky to have found the woman I have. Nothing at all wrong with the Philippines or the ppl. Great little documentary video.
I work with many Phillipinos. After watching this my heart is swelling with even more love for them. They always bring food to work to share with everyone. I have one friend that is always asking me " did you eat? Here. eat!" Always trying to feed me! Some of the most wonderful, kindest people ive met. Im going to donate to feed the hungry in PI in honor of my friends who feed me.

Great showcase of how some of our less fortunate community here in PH strive to go through this so called rough life. It shows how resourceful Filipinos are. It makes me more proud of my homeland.
16:57 I think the Filipino version of Popeye would be Pag-eye who instead of eating a can of spinach, would eat a portion of Pag-pag which although it may not give him superhuman strength, it would imbue him with superhuman Filipino spirit, resilience and resourcefulness to overcome hardship, defeat Bluto, and save Olive.
@@allisonfaxx4636 I haven't dived in with that part of our history. So I'm not 100% sure it's accuracy. I believe huge part of mindanao has been papulated with our Muslim people a long time ago. As well as indigenous peoples like my tribe, bagobo tagabawa. What I do know is that Filipinos that settled here in our land before all the invasion are consist of mix races. The malay, Indonesian, and Ita which there dna mostly consist of African race. This makes PH the most diverse mix of races even before all the invasions happened.

The provinces in the Philippines are one of the best experiences I had in my life. It just feels like home; everything's so simple, slow paced, and I get to sleep early. I forget my problems right away. I hope you get to do more documentaries like this. I would love for the world to see how beautiful in the Philippines and how complex Filipino culture is. Every province has something different to offer. And yes, more unfiltered!

You are a very wise person. I live in the United States. Many people here believe if they own a lot of stuff and beautiful things it will make them happy. But happiness is wanting what you have. Not having what you want. Always be grateful for what you have. Treating others well and helping those in need is always very rewarding. it's pretty amazing to see how resilient and resourceful the Philippine people are. Every corner of the world has it's problems, and in those corners there will always be people surviving where we would not expect anyone to be able to thrive or survive. Still sucks that extreme poverty is the accepted loss for the extremely wealthy. And the people are finding Eco-friendly ways of innovating solutions to their problems.
During a vacation on Cebu Island with my girlfriend, we were invited to dinner by a local family. We gave them enough money to buy food for everyone. However, we were shocked to see a group of small children eating all the leftovers after we finished our meal. It was heartbreaking, as we had assumed the children had already been well-fed during our stay. Moved by this, we went to a local grocery store and bought some treats for them. In return, the children sang a couple of songs for us. It was a truly memorable moment.
As a Filipino I'm embarrassed that someone from another country beat me in going to places in the Philippines that are exceptionally "challenging", to say the least. But I love the vicarious experience and your courage in getting your ass to largely unseen and unvisited places is incredibly amazing. People in the North should now stop whining and appreciate the enormous blessings they';re enjoying.

This was a good reminder of why we need to be grateful for what we have. So many people live on so little. The pagpag food really hurt my heart. No one should have to eat rotten scraps to live. My grandmother grew up poor with 11 other siblings in the Philippines. She made her own way from the farms and ended up working hard to own several nightclubs and bars in rhe city. By the time my mother was born my grandma was considered a millionaire. She had a mansion with servants and everything. Then she married a marine and moved to the US and basically started all over.
My first girlfriend lives in the Philippines, I miss her so much. Wish to be with her again someday if the tide brings her back my way 😊. Philippines will change your mindset and make you appreciate the smaller and simpler things in life such as what a lot of this videos about - food. I have lived in the Philippines since I was four. This is the first time I have heard of "Pagpag". My jaw dropped . I am aware of the inequality in my country but not to this level. This puts things into perspective.

I just spent one month in the city of Cebu living the life of many people, living cheap cheap, eating one time a day for 1-2$ (in Robinson ground floor can be really good), working in coffees (lots of medical students : Philippines is changing), going to church a lot. I first arrived in the Philippines 42 years ago. The poverty and corruption was unbelievable. I watch this now, the poverty is exactly the same. The Government should be ashamed.
My grandpa was from Manila he was a stowaway on a banana boat to Australia then he imagrated to the US, he was so proud to be an American the only time he spoke his native language was when he was mad, he was a fisherman in Alaska and when he went back to the Philippines his family robbed him and left him with nothing to get home with.

That city ordinance seemed to read that it was requiring food vendors to not throw away their leftovers in order to spoil them; that instead they should collect them to give to the people for pagpag. It said that they would be fined the value of the food and more if they threw away edible food instead of handing it over to be fed to people without contaminants

I know a filipino woman, she is very extraordinary, her parents are hard workers, she is a diligent person, she tries to live by herself, when she was in college she even paid for her own college, sometimes she only eats half a loaf of bread and lots of water to save, and now she is a great female soldier and can be the backbone of the family, she is able to make her parents and her four siblings happy, I am proud of you charisse, mahal kita ❤️

I’m Filipino but was born and raised in the States. Throughout my life I’ve enjoyed my father and family’s little snipits of life in PH, and it wasn’t until some years ago when I finally got to see what it was like. Best trip I’ve ever took. I may not have lived there, but it truly felt like home. Pinoy or not, if you’ve never visited the Philippines, you’ve never seen true island life.

I remember a remark Jesus said that we will always have our poor. May be it serves a purpose. To provide an opportunity to exercise charity to the poor and the poor to exercise whatever part of their character that will raise them out of poverty. I was poor growing up. Shined shoes, as a kid. Raised 6 good kids, big family now, Am now 95, still poor but a happy camper.
It was starting to get hard to swallow just past the first minute into this video. Why do people have to suffer like this? Seriously heartbreaking. It's my first time seeing your documentary and I like how you're honest and truthful about our situation here in the Philippines. Other bloggers or documenters will say flowery words just so they won't accidentally insult the viewers (and that might cause them to loose more views). It's also commendable that you eat the "pagpag" and gave an honest opinion about it. I wouldn't eat that no matter what. I hope to see more good docus from you, Sir!
There are poor and homeless people in the 50 states in the United States. The poor will always be with us. One of my nieces became wealthy and built her a $750,000 house, swimming pool, hot tub and three BMW’s. Never invited my husband and I to stay with her, although we were from another state. We always stayed at a hotel just to spend Thanksgiving with family. She’s broke now. Lost everything. Her mother is my sister. We’re middle upper class, not rich. Our home built and paid for. Our cars paid . My husband and I am retired after working 40 years. A fool and his/her money are soon departed.
Philippines have one of the warmest people in Asia… Can’t the government organize for better disposal of the food remnants? It’s hard to believe the effort you have to overcome for one to eat waste food. I hope they will all overcome.

I'm retired in Cebu City. My wife and I were eating at Jolie Bees at the I.T park one night and we both ordered chicken and rice. After getting done eating and just looking around, at our table outside, a young man came and sat down by us and started eating our left over bones, picking over them. I was stunned and offered to buy him a meal. When the meal came, he didn't eat it, he said he had already ate enough off from our chicken bones and the meal was for his 6 siblings at home.

That guy mining in Paracale is my cousin’s husband. My dad plans on making a car wash business soon to get him out of that dangerous job. These people are such hard workers for so little money. Every time I go to the Philippines to visit family I am humbled by their life situation. Yet even with such hardship they are still so happy and appreciative for what little they have. Thank you for sharing and creating this documentary for the world to see.

For anyone who may be curious about it: the word "pagpag" essentially means "to brush off" or "to dust off." Also "to shake off." Ever heard of the 5 second rule? Food fell on the floor, hasn't been 5 seconds yet, you pick it up, brush off any visible dirt or what have you, and still consider it good enough to eat, so you do.
You can’t brush off parasites or disease though. I respect the hustle but you can get seriously sick eating rotting garbage.

Of course, they are a beautiful people. They deserve better. I hate how white old men, go to the Philippines to basically buy a wife. Old disgusting men, with young beauties, for all I know you could be one of them. It even goes as far as women basically selling their daughters online, in hopes they marry outside. Their demographic according to the World Bank, in 2021 was 113.9 Million. Their country is smaller than many tiny European countries and surpass them demographically. So let's be real here! That is severe overpopulation. The only way to succeed for many, is fleeing the overpopulated country of the Philippines, and many do. The women are lucky, they can marry out. The boys and the men are less lucky. They are stuck. This is something that needs to be addressed, in a Catholic country I don't see it happening. Parents living out of shopping carts with 5-6 kids is an issue. Out of a shopping cart... With five to six kids! Poor kids are lucky to eat PagPag.

My first exposure to extreme poverty was as a U.S. Navy sailor in Subic Bay, where we layed over for fitting out of my ship on the way to Viet Nam. I was stunned by the resilience and positive attitudes of the citizens of Olongapo City, a makeshift quagmire of bars, brothels and bodegas. I had never imagined that the human spirit could thrive so well in such a filthy hell hole. Philippino people since then have always had my respect and admiration.
As a Filipino who was born to working class parents who then immigrated to give their kids better opportunities in life I am so grateful for my childhood and culture. We were thankfully never in poverty (not exactly well-off either) but we were happy with what we had and my parents would tell me the sacrifices my grandparents made to make sure my parents could eat fresh food.

I was in Bicol region this June, because my family lives there, we also went to Paracale.
The Filipino people are so nice, so humble, and so immensely resourceful in finding ways to make ends meet, i have so much respect for them, and for me it was a humbling and valuable visit, and it taught me a lot, in how to appreciate things.

I’m in Tennessee and I feed my chicken black soldier fly larva. Best damn food I’ve ever given them, literally can’t buy this level of nutrients and engagement for them anywhere. Really cool part is our system for collective larva is also taking care of the of certain kinds of waste and making incredible fertilizer for the spring and summer.

The people who cook the trash need to be transitioned to cook real food. The government should give these people a basic welfare to cover food costs. So,, No this is not acceptable, the Filipino people deserve better, no human anywhere should accept this.

Now I know why my.father a WWII soldier who was in the Philippines for 2yrs 2mos and 2days wanted to go back for a visit before he passed. He talked about how beautiful the islands were ,the sands so white and the waters clear. The shells were plentiful,large with many colors. He learned the language and loved the people. When he was 82 in the hospital he had an entire conversation with his Filipino nurse. I thought he was speaking in tongs due to the medication. But the nurse told me he was talking to her .
Ive lived as retired American these last 5 years in Philippines. This is a great opportunity to see human survival spirit in action in absolutely deplorable conditions. The chickens, by the way, are also raised in factory farms under deplorable conditions and GMO modified to be animals that in no way could survive in the wild without being medicated with stuff that keeps their overweight bodies alive.
The irony is we live in a country rich in resources and rich in technology. The only problem being ,we , as a world, have subordinated these resources and technologies to paper fiat currency and now look what we have? We have a broken system that only those who are born lucky can thrive while millions in ghettos live like this, destroying environment and just getting by, for this thing we call money, everyday. 😢There must be a better way to live , love, and learn on this planet together . A resources based economy but that would take a world willing to include all peoples working living loving and learning together.😊

These people are extremely resilient and flexible. Hats off to them. The air compressor, wow. I've seen Sri Lankan fishermen using one when deep sea diving/fishing on a boat slightly bigger than a canoe! I live in a third world country, South Africa and we have similar issues. There are so many illegal immigrants coming into the country, endangering themselves by mining in similar environments. Life is tough and only the strong will survive.

Your country is and has been full of gold and lush resources but foreigners exploit it and get rich while you stay poor. Ever read the Boxer Codex? Magellan's assistant Pigafetta chronicled your land has tons of gold easily harnessed. Gold the size of walnuts. Filipinos wore gold every day as normal wear. While Europeans were living in the dark ages Filipinos were walking around wearing gold.

I absolutely love my beautiful Filipino wife. Will be married 27yrs in a couple days, her family is incredible and also a very tight knit group of ppl. Her grandfather who was born in the Philippines, fought for the Philippines and somehow became an American soldier during WW2, survived the Bataan death March, survived the war, later stationed in New Mexico where my father-in-law became a US citizen. Talk about never knowing where you'll end up in life. I've never been to the Philippines but if the ppl there are anything like my in-laws and wife then they truly are an amazing people. I feel really lucky to have found the woman I have. Nothing at all wrong with the Philippines or the ppl. Great little documentary video.
I work with many Phillipinos. After watching this my heart is swelling with even more love for them. They always bring food to work to share with everyone. I have one friend that is always asking me " did you eat? Here. eat!" Always trying to feed me!

I believe huge part of mindanao has been papulated with our Muslim people a long time ago. As well as indigenous peoples like my tribe, bagobo tagabawa. What I do know is that Filipinos that settled here in our land before all the invasion are consist of mix races. The malay, Indonesian, and Ita which there dna mostly consist of African race. This makes PH the most diverse mix of races even before all the invasions happened.

The provinces in the Philippines are one of the best experiences I had in my life. It just feels like home; everything's so simple, slow paced, and I get to sleep early. I forget my problems right away.

it's pretty amazing to see how resilient and resourceful the Philippine people are. Every corner of the world has it's problems, and in those corners there will always be people surviving where we would not expect anyone to be able to thrive or survive. Still sucks that extreme poverty is the accepted loss for the extremely wealthy. And the people are finding Eco-friendly ways of innovating solutions to their problems.
During a vacation on Cebu Island with my girlfriend, we were invited to dinner by a local family. We gave them enough money to buy food for everyone. However, we were shocked to see a group of small children eating all the leftovers after we finished our meal. It was heartbreaking, as we had assumed the children had already been well-fed during our stay. Moved by this, we went to a local grocery store and bought some treats for them. In return, the children sang a couple of songs for us. It was a truly memorable moment.
As a Filipino I'm embarrassed that someone from another country beat me in going to places in the Philippines that are exceptionally "challenging", to say the least. But I love the vicarious experience and your courage in getting your ass to largely unseen and unvisited places is incredibly amazing. People in the North should now stop whining and appreciate the enormous blessings they';re enjoying.

This was a good reminder of why we need to be grateful for what we have. So many people live on so little. The pagpag food really hurt my heart. No one should have to eat rotten scraps to live. It would be nice if you truly enjoyed going out there and filming the people as they endure this suffering (all puns intended) that you also provide links to how your audience can help these people and efforts you made to help them as well.

My grandmother grew up poor with 11 other siblings in the Philippines. She made her own way from the farms and ended up working hard to own several nightclubs and bars in rhe city. By the time my mother was born my grandma was considered a millionaire. She had a mansion with servants and everything. Then she married a marine and moved to the US and basically started all over.

I first arrived in the Philippines 42 years ago. The poverty and corruption was unbelievable. I watch this now, the poverty is exactly the same. The Government should be ashamed.
My grandpa was from Manila he was a stowaway on a banana boat to Australia then he imagrated to the US, he was so proud to be an American the only time he spoke his native language was when he was mad, he was a fisherman in Alaska and when he went back to the Philippines his family robbed him and left him with nothing to get home with.

That city ordinance seemed to read that it was requiring food vendors to not throw away their leftovers in order to spoil them; that instead they should collect them to give to the people for pagpag. It said that they would be fined the value of the food and more if they threw away edible food instead of handing it over to be fed to people without contaminants

I know a filipino woman, she is very extraordinary, her parents are hard workers, she is a diligent person, she tries to live by herself, when she was in college she even paid for her own college, sometimes she only eats half a loaf of bread and lots of water to save, and now she is a great female soldier and can be the backbone of the family, she is able to make her parents and her four siblings happy, I am proud of you charisse, mahal kita ❤️

I’m Filipino but was born and raised in the States. Throughout my life I’ve enjoyed my father and family’s little snipits of life in PH, and it wasn’t until some years ago when I finally got to see what it was like. Best trip I’ve ever took. I may not have lived there, but it truly felt like home. Pinoy or not, if you’ve never visited the Philippines, you’ve never seen true island life.
what make Philippines more true island life than any other island in the world every culture is unique and different

I remember a remark Jesus said that we will always have our poor. May be it serves a purpose. To provide an opportunity to exercise charity to the poor and the poor to exercise whatever part of their character that will raise them out of poverty. I was poor growing up. Shined shoes, as a kid. Raised 6 good kids, big family now, Am now 95, still poor but a happy camper.

It was starting to get hard to swallow just past the first minute into this video. Why do people have to suffer like this? Seriously heartbreaking. And, I personally feel useless for not being able to go out there and figure out permanent solutions to help these people who can't even get basic necessities.... like food.. 😭😭

It's my first time seeing your documentary and I like how you're honest and truthful about our situation here in the Philippines. Other bloggers or documenters will say flowery words just so they won't accidentally insult the viewers (and that might cause them to loose more views). It's also commendable that you eat the "pagpag" and gave an honest opinion about it. I wouldn't eat that no matter what. I hope to see more good docus from you, Sir!
There are poor and homeless people in the 50 states in the United States. The poor will always be with us. One of my nieces became wealthy and built her a $750,000 house, swimming pool, hot tub and three BMW’s. Never invited my husband and I to stay with her, although we were from another state. We always stayed at a hotel just to spend Thanksgiving with family. She’s broke now. Lost everything. Her mother is my sister. We’re middle upper class, not rich. Our home built and paid for. Our cars paid . My husband and I am retired after working 40 years. A fool and his/her money are soon departed.

Philippines have one of the warmest people in Asia… Can’t the government organize for better disposal of the food remnants? It’s hard to believe the effort you have to overcome for one to eat waste food. I hope they will all overcome.
I appreciate your video much, and I don't believe at all your intentions were to shame the people of the Philippines. If anything it was very eye-opening and educational. I shared it with my wife so that we can more truly appreciate the things we have and are able to enjoy in our life.
