This should also be included on main stream media! These people, the Aetas are and always have been a part of our country and should not be excluded from the rest of society. Their way of life and culture should be preserved by everyone.

Grew up always seeing aetas in the streets. Missed opportunity talaga para sa'kin yung di sila nakausap kasi I was given a wrong impression when I was a kid. I regret it now, but I'm glad na mas nakikita ko na sila ngayon sa'min na nagtitinda ng sarili nilang ani - without the middle man - and hindi nanghihingi ng pera or pagkain. Nung high school ako, they would usually visit the school and remind us na "Wag niyo kaming bibigyan pag nanghihingi, para hindi maging tamad yung mga kasama namin."

The land grabbing issue is very much true for other Aeta tribes. These people have been here are one of the first settlers of the country and do not abide by the contemporary norms of land ownership. Their best legal defence on paper is the Indigenous People's Rights Act where ancestral domains and ancestral lands are recognized as theirs... on paper. Politics and capitalism always finds a way to weasel in these lands for their gain. IPs are met with systemic hindrances (education and economics) so we as Filipinos have a moral obligation to give voice to these people. We need to demand a stronger implementation of the IPRA.
    Well-made video Featr. Kudos!

Binebenta nila yung mga ani nila sa kabayanan at ang nakakatuwa is nauubos mga paninda nila talaga. Hindi sila yung mamamalimos lang sa daan kahit kaya naman maghanap buhay. We don't need MSG or any other ingredients to make it palatable. It masks the real taste of the food. Over time it changes the taste buds giving the illusion that we need other ingredients. Aetas have clean unadulterated taste buds.👏👏👏

The government should protect them and give them health center fertilizers for their farms and deep well. They are self sufficient. They should be given a budget allocation to improve their lives. Access road water and electricity are really needed.

I'm miss you so much.... My mom is from Pampanga and I was bless to go home with here back in 1991. The trip to my grandmothers village was far but an amazing and scary experience. Bamboo Houses, wild chickens and pigs, a huge river we have to cross to get to the village... Pumping water and Pooping in a hole in the ground was humbling but nothing socking since I grew up in Hawaii since the early 80's which wasn't that ahead of the PI in some areas especially the farms.
