The LaramyK videos made it possible for me to pass the ABO the first setting. These are going to be a fantastic aided to help me with the NCLE!! I learn faster by seeing someone actually giving examples and explaining it along the route to the answer!! It's like lab for NCLE class!!
Yes… is frustrating my main problem is English is my 5th language…. Some terminology is hard for me, I study and when I take the test they change the sentence with other words that… don’t helped
The videos are designed to be viewed independently (even the series on astigmatism). You will find that many of the topics inter-relate! Start with anatomy of the eye Then the astigmatism made easy series Then understanding K readings After that you should have a good foundation to hop around! I appreciate you subscribing and commenting/engaging 😃 💪
@@nclecontactlenstraining thanks! Btw, I have Contacts Lens Society of America manual Volume 1, is it enough for me to cover everything plus your videos? Wondering what could Volume 2 mean? Are you familiar with this books?
@@apparentlyayla146 yes! That is a great comprehensive review. I would also recommend the question and answer test book that complements volume 1. Use those and watch the videos to help the concepts “sink in” and you will do just fine!
Lenticular astigmatism can be simply thought of as an residual (left over) astigmatism that is not shown through the K readings and the refraction. For example, if the Rx has 2 diopters of astigmatism and the K readings are 42/44.50 you would have 0.50 diopters of lenticular astigmatism. Don’t overcomplicate it 😊
@@nclecontactlenstraining oof thanks.. im doing laramy k optical training course for the abo and it seems like so much info but you motivated me to do both! Ill give it my best
@@nclecontactlenstraining one more question man. I just started studying for the abo. I can take the ncle and abo in november. Do you think i have enough time to learn both in that time span from now? Just want an honest opinion

Can you please give more examples of lenticular astigmatism

You stated Keri Wilson has a good book on the NCLE. Can you please tell me the title of her book and proper spelling of her name?

@@nclecontactlenstraining Thank you so much her questions really helped. I passed! You are amazing. Thank you for making these videos. All of them!
Is NCLE harder than the ABO? Do you recommend studying for both at the same time or study for the abo first take the test and then study for the ncle?
Hi Dan! Search for my video “the NCLE is easier than the ABO.”
I say you knock ‘em both out at the same time 👀 🥊
