Bodylastics is coming out with a machine that allows you to attach lots of bands and use a work out bench. The machine is still in development, but it allows for shoulder press, deadlift, bench press, lat pull down, squat, etc.
I’m on a road a lot and I don’t have a routine. I do believe my nutrition plan is coming on board however it can be peak and tune. I do walk at least 3 times a week but I would like to exercise with bands as well.
Hey Dave! love your channel. I use the X3 system. Said “system” has no door anchors. They aren’t designed to attach to them. I want to be able to destroy my chest and I think I’ll need a good set of bands to anchor to a door. With that said, what is the best set you can recommend? or your favourite at least.
I feel like the reason I am not hitting my fitness goals is that it seems like a combination of my diabetes, low testosterone and being old (61). I workout 5 days per week but I am not really seeing any gains either in the mirror or in measurements or on the FitTrack scale. If you go by that, I’ve lost 3 pounds of muscle in that last 6 months. Hard to stay motivated.
This channel has a full library of routines. Go through them, maybe start with a full body routine to start, then, when you are progressing and looking to take your workouts up a notch, look for split routines. Subscribe while you're at it. Most people have underdeveloped subscribe muscles.
I am just about to start. I bought some bands which as I get more fit I will want to upgrade, but I am positive at this point there is no way I will break anything. I weigh 285 lbs. and I kept waiting to start exercising till I had lost some weight. Wrong thinking, I should have started resistance training years ago and my weight would have never gotten to 285 lbs. I finally got to the point where I couldn't walk through a grocery store because of back pain. People don't let this happen start doing resistance strength training before that. The only thing I am waiting on to start is my doctor's okay, and hopefully some visits with a physical therapist that can help me rehabilitate my back. I am currently reading the book, "Forever Strong A New, Science-Based Strategy for aging Well By: Dr. Gabrielle Lyon" Oh, did I mention I will be 60 in May? Never too old!
The reason i struggle to hit my fitness and diet goals are because of psychosis. I’ve been hospitalised a few times due to psychotic episodes and one of the negative symptoms of psychosis is low motivation
Love bodylastics bands so I might have to give these a try.

Oh yea I am aware!
The prototype is still ugly and bigger than it needs to be for bands, but they have the right idea.@@DisciplineDave
I agree

I am currently using a combination of Harambe and Bodylastics bands for my routine. Wound up selling the rest of my bands.
About those Harambe bands...Would you recommend them? How do the bands themselves compare to other brands such as Undersun or Serious Steel?
@@TheDarkSkorpion they are shorter and much thicker than any other band on the market. The resistance begins much earlier in the movement.
Consistency is my limiting factor at times.
