You are so right about the fact that we need to keep moving forward. I have had a major setback with regaining weight, finding my fat percentage increase to its highest and muscle percentage less. At 51, I know I have to rest more for recovery, but I refuse to give up. Our bodies are the temple for the holy Spirit and I want to build one that is worthy of Him. If I was only doing this for myself and not for a better reason, I know I would be more willing to give up and make excuses. The body changes I am seeing may not yet be positive when I look in the mirror, but I refuse to give up and, Dave you have been a part of the research and motivation keeping me going. Thank you and welcome to the Dad club!
I'm in my early forties and restarting my fitness journey (at home, with resistance bands) I love your content, Dave. Informative, inspirational and motivating. Keep up the great work, mate ☺️☺️
Hey, I really like your channel! My name is Marcel, and I'm from Germany. It's quite difficult to get hold of Bodylastics here. Recently, I managed to get a set on the second-hand market. The bands are not torn, but they have very strong white spots that look like chalk or magnesium. I've already tried cleaning them with vinegar water and soapy water, but the improvements were minimal. Do you have any ideas on how to make the bands bright and spotless again? Unfortunately, specialty products from the USA, like the Bodylastics cleaner, are hard to get here or come with extremely high import/export costs.
Consistency trumps everything else. Think these days there is too much paralysis by analysis. Pick something you enjoy and can do for rest your life including diet.
I just wanted to do a video that I can provide "The greatest good"
What worked for me was removing distractions, setting priorities, and creating new habits. I remind myself to not overthink and just do it.
Congrats on the new baby
thanks
