- This edit makes the transition from the piano notes to the official theme smoother, incorporates the sting, and replaces the closing credits music with that of the opening credits.

I love how it's basically confirmed the Doctor wrote his own theme song that he just plays whenever he goes on adventures.
The 12th doctor even played it once in the begining of before the flood
Also 12th Doctor played Clara's theme on his guitar as well
No
@@v1n5aja A forgotten melody, to a forgotten memory.
I hoped the intro would be played completely on a piano, like how before the floods intro was played completely on a guitar
When I watched this episode I thought the intro sounded so strange. You recreated in the exact way I thought it would be. It was a really cool bit but so strange they didn't sync it well
It sounded strange because Maestro was "eating" music...removing it...the piano was being removed as they played it...the bassline too.
It’s cool how at the end it just cuts to the tardis playing the end notes on the jukebox
I think it was non-diegetic sound could be worng
Correction *diegetic
@@JohnSimpson36 Correct; the sound from the jukebox is diegetic.
I didn’t have a problem with the original sequence that had this
My problem with the official sequence is that it uses the closing credits music instead of the opening theme, and the transition from the piano notes to the closing music is not as smooth as it could have been.
@@FawzanSiddiqui Thank you for perfectly syncing the music to the intro too. It was out of sync in the original
Can we just have Maestro at the start of every title sequence please? And the metal version of the theme once in a great while? ❤❤ 🎶 🎵 🎹
and in sync, THANK YOU
You're welcome. :)
It was already in sync
@@doctorwhovian69356 The wrong theme is used in the episode, though.
@@FawzanSiddiquiwho cares
@@doctorwhovian69356 A lot of people, including myself.
as if they actually used the closing theme during the opening titles 💀💀💀 it was driving me crazy how different the mix was once the rest of the instruments joined in. perhaps the maestro played a role here 🤔
I think The one who plays the mastro would be good at being a master I envy his talent.
i mean it's his own thing and it's amazing!
I loved Jinkx Monsoon’s performance!
Saw an interview piece that apparently Jinx got some insparation from the performance of Missy so, makes perfect sense you're getting Master energy from the performance.
Wait it's a he?
It's a "they")
The editing has been really bad this season. Supposedly (according to Big Finish) there's a 6 month gap between Space Babies and The Devil's Chord. Why? Usually the formula is within the first 3 days, the newest companion goes to the future/space and the past, sometimes in the reverse order depending on their interests. Why would Ruby and the Doctor wait 6 months before suggesting that they travel back in time? And if that's not the case, why does Ruby say "But you never hide."? He literally hides during Space Babies.
I'm guessing it allows all the spinoff media to be placed during that time when it comes to it like books, audios and comics down the line
It's to make it realtime, because the last episode was right after the Christmas episode, but it is 6 months later now, there had to be a 6 month gap somewhere, or the whole of doctor who would be 6 months behind reality.
@@amos.rand_vfxbut they said her real time is June - it’s may right now, so it’s not real time
Big finish never said that, it’s inferred by it still being Christmas for Ruby in space babies, then it turns out to be June for them in Devils Chord
How did you get it in 60fps?
Problem is you missed the point. Maestro was "eating" the music...removing it...the bassline and the piano were removed by them. Adding more to the theme defeats the entire purpose.
Given how poorly edited the title sequences have been this year, I doubt the reason the closing credits theme was used instead of the opening theme was to show that Maestro was ‘eating’ the music; rather, I believe they wanted to smoothly transition into the ending of the theme, which could not have been done as easily had the opening theme been used. Also, I am pretty sure the bassline was not removed… if anything, it is more prominent in the episode.
The primary reason I edited this intro was that the transition from the piano to the closing theme is quite sloppy in the episode, and sounds more adequate when the opening theme is used, instead.
I literally thought the same thing
Much better
Thank you.
Why the interpolation??? Makes it look so fake.
I can only see interpolation on the actor's names
I cant believe how awful the title sequence has been. The syncing has been terrible, and when they fix one thing, another issue appears. Might be better just starting from scratch.
I do hope that a new title sequence is created for season two onwards; I associate the current one too heavily with the sixtieth anniversary specials.
For an episode dedicated to music, why does it sound so awful?!
The original was better
