- Time for another roller coaster tour / review video from one of our favorite theme parks in the United States, King's Dominion! The park just opened up a brand new ride for the 2022 season called Tumbili and we had a chance to try out the amazing line-up of other attractions.

This park is fantastic. It will be even more fantastic once they get that Volcano replacement. I just hope that will be sooner rather than later. Until then the waterpark could also use an update especially in the front where the Tornado used to be (that area is practically dead).

I remember riding Dominator at Geauga Lake a lot of time when I was a teenager. Can't wait to try it out there, I will squeezed on Drop Tower shoulder harness there.
Sorry you had such a long wait. LOL! We'll be visiting this park in a couple of weeks (hitting this and Busch Gardens Williamsburg on the same trip). I-305 and Twisted Timbers are the two rides I am looking forward to the most. I agree with you on the Arrow loopers. They seem to get more rough as the years go by. Grizzly sounds rough. Hopefully not sitting on a wheel seat when I ride it will help. ~Jonathan

Pretty amazing coaster lineup at this park!
Racer 75 has always ridden great for me, on either side. They take great care of it. I was lucky to get both credits on my 2018 visit, because they normally don't run both sides on slow days, and I've never been to this park when it's busy. Grizzly never has a line, because it's so terrible. Almost everyone hates it. I can handle rough rides, but that one is way too far. For Anaconda and all other Arrows, keep your head forward, and you won't get any headbanging. Intimidator 305 & Twisted Timbers: best 1-2 punch in the country, both in my top 10. If you weren't able to get on Great Pumpkin Coaster, you have a clone of it at Fun Spot America that you can ride.
Oh my God those wait times! You poor poor thing! We're going to have to start a GoFundMe for you to help ease the pain of wait times.

Were they able to revamp nickelodeon land? Is that old kids place (giant mcdonalds playplace)?
Did you ride Grizzly in the front or back? I've heard it's not too rough in the front. I'm honestly pretty nervous to try it. The Beast gave me wooden coaster anxiety because it so so rough
Beast (before the off-season trackwork) was a little rough to me, Grizzly is brutally rough. I actually enjoyed Grizzly's roughness in 2018, but my 2021 rides were beyond what I could tolerate. Even the front row was beyond brutal. I think it might even be rougher than Legend at Holiday World. I would not recommend either of those coasters to anyone who has issues with wood coaster roughness. Those are my top 2 for roughness, but a few others I would include on that list: Hades 360, Mine Blower, Lake Compounce's Wildcat, Roar at Six Flags America, Great American Scream Machine (but that one sometimes is fine).

It's hard to argue that. It is so brutal! The problem is, if it rode smoother, it would be one of the best wooden coasters, for the airtime and incredible setting in the woods.
