I wanted one and saw the mark up and left the dealer. The salesman was trying desperately to try to gain my business. I said remove the mark up - that apparently was not an option. I left without a car and they lost business.

They didn't lose business...you didn't buy anything. Someone else DID buy that car and that train of thought in this market will get you driving away in your trade-in 100% of the time
