I purchased a 2021 SX model & the transmission died at 7700 miles. I am waiting on a replacement from my lemon law claim but the white is very limited according to Kia & so I am contemplating this blue color or the wolf gray which both are really nice.
Same issue with my 21 SX model. Been back and forth with the dealership trying to fix transmission issues. Last week I gave it back and I’m picking up the 22 tomorrow.
@@AkemiNaturally yea, picked mines up a few weeks ago. Took about two months to arrive from the factory. I ended up just waiting it out for white. Kia tried to convince me real hard to either take the money or get out of the contract. But I was like not in this market! Fingers crossed lightning doesn’t strike twice for us both. Good luck!
I was seriously considering a 2022 Sorento purchase, but every dealer in Seattle area is getting $4000-7000 over sticker price. And don’t even ask about Telluride pricing!! Prices are “Non-negotiable” they say. Sadly, I will have to pass on that kind of excessive greed.
Yes you are right 100% but what’s crazy is that people buy them even with the Insane mark ups. This is getting really ridiculous I think there is no things such as chip shortage it’s been going on for a really long time
Go with Tiguan SE for compact with 3rd row . About 10 grand less new (dealers asking at least 5 over sticker for sorentos )and don’t really lose anything
Honda passport. Last forever no high tech though. Kia has high tech but no dependability. You will be sorry if you buy the Sorento with DCT transmission and a oil burning motor.
@@BeeRumblin13 ha I'm not actually joking :) it does look cool. I want to get strobe effect on my headlights so thought id ask. I dont think the sporty sorento is available in Europe.
I am waiting on the 2024 Sorento but I don't think I can take a chance on one. Kia motors burning up. Seems like all Kia motors burn oil and 1 quart of oil a thousand mile is not normal. Run fast when Kia says it is normal. A motor should last between oil changes period. And the DCT transmission is junk in this type of vehicle. Needs a 8 or 9 speed Transmission. Automatic. What a shame to have a great looking and high tech SUV that will be undependable and kia will not warranty anything. Bad customer service. This Sorento needs a V6 and a AT automatic. Than it would be the best SUV. I have a Honda V6 not 1 drop of oil usage between oil changes.
Definitely liking that new Kia logo on this Sorento. Great review 👍
Yes same. I hope it was informative :)
I’ve been debating between this and the Seltos. Thanks for uploading, you made a great review.
I had my 2022 Seltos EX awd and I love it but i Decided to get something bigger and i got sorento SX and oh my gosh I love it too 😁
The differences are night and day.

@@theshannon0315 what good is the warranty waiting 2 months just to have it break again?

I SERIOUSLY have the cash for a X-Line EX , no finance and I can't get a single dealer to come down on their $7 -$10k markup smdh.
@@boxbox2300 cash isn’t a thing brotha lol. You want that you have to go sketchy small dealerships that buy from the auction.

I wound up purchasing a GV70 Genesis instead, very pleased.
Très belle voiture 🤩
Does it says how many cylinders and gallons?
How many gallons of oil does it burn? Look it up.
Nice sporty model! How do you get the flashing strobe lights?
Lol. I don't know if thats a joke or not . But a real answer is the camera is causing the LED's look like that when filmed. Would be cool though
