Your donations to the childrens hospital hit home for me. We lost our son almost 2 years ago and he was at a children's hospital for 4 months. You're one of the best if not the best youtubers who does cars. Keep it up Dalton!
I’m truly sorry for your loss, I can’t imagine losing my son, thank you for sharing and this is the reason I give to the McDonald’s charity, they did a life saving procedure on my good friends son at 2 years old. Anything for the kiddos and veterans in my book! Again so sorry for your loss, I know that’s not much compared to what you lost! 🙏
I work in a hospital, in operations. All of us have who have spent a few years "On the ground," have been within feet of people passing, hospice things going on- the absolute worst is when it's a baby or kid. All of us guys feel that...
Man Travis. Sorry for yalls loss Bud. We should never have to lose one of our children. Or anybody elses child either, for that matter. I'm a West Tennessean, and we have St. Jude just 60 miles down the road from us. We are blessed to have a place like that, where all those doctors are doing everything in their power, day and night, to stop that from ever happening again.
We'll have to find those now old men and women and tell them at their retirement mcmansions in Miami, FL that they designed a nice car when they were in the 3rd grade. Their design paid them well.👍😂
AMC were cars you either loved or hated. The ones I have owned were great except one of the Hornets but I bought it as a parts car and made money on it. Dalton is wrong about AMC veing the first ti build a unibody car though. The first was the Chrysler Airflow in 1933.
Man I love the children’s hospital donation. When my son was a newborn we were in a Children’s hospital between thanksgiving and Christmas with an infection on the brain. 2 years later and he’s helping dad fix cars.
My Dad was an AMC mechanic for many years, so I grew up in 70's and early 80's driving everything from Pacers, Gremlins, too Jeep pickups. Drove my dad's work car, a blue'68 Rebel 770 343V8 during my sophomore year until I got pulled out of a muddy ditch being stupid across a concrete culvert. Pushed the tranny up an fan went through the radiator! He was pissed! He loved that old Rebel. Took that 343 out, put in in my '69 Ambassador SST 2dr. We had various 232's and 258's that were transplanted into other vehicles as well. Bulletproof little 6's! Brought back alot of good memories watching this!😊
So i made a comment about you talking trash about the Rebel. Then i see how great you guys are buying toys for kids. Thank you guys for restoring my faith in humanity. Love the Channel buddy.
54:10 drives into a working gas station with a lit cigarette 😂😂😂, classic Dalton 😂! Good call on donating all those toys to the children's hospital, man! You're going to make a lot of kids happy ❤
You guys took a 68 amc 1300 miles meanwhile I drive my 68 el Camino 3 miles to grab a beer and it pukes it’s guts out, drops an alternator, fries a starter or anything else you can think of to make me look like I’m a complete idiot at any given time, and I put nice parts on it every chance I get and that’s how it rewards me 😂😂😂! Awesome videos series guys definitely a good watch
You Rock Dalton! as a Dad, a friend, a good motorhead guy all around. John DeLorian would be proud of your Pontiac prowess. Thank you and Buff for the Tribute!
Those are old school hydraulic shocks, no gas charge means they don't extend on there own. As long as the there is resistance and no dead spots they are fine.
Not nearly enough AMC car content on the web. Thanks for giving the other guys some love. Im an 80s kid and grew up with both parents in the 90s driving 2 AMCs. My mom had a mint 67 American wagon with the 199 six. my dad had a 67 Rebel sst 2 door with a 290. they both drove them year round here on the north coast. In my garage is a 67 Marlin my parents bought in 90. not only am i an AMC guy, but also did the rout 66 trip as a kid. very cool video!
Thank you Dalton for your donations you definitely blessed a lot of kids! I remember spending the entire year of 2023 at the children's hospital with my son he's still really sick with cancer with no cure! I do appreciate what you and JD do! Good teamwork
Got me choked up when you started shoving all the hotwheels in the cart. I almost lost my son at 7 wks old and he was in childrens hospital for a week and a half. Looking at him now 2 yrs later, you could never tell. Hes obsessed with anything on wheels, especially monster trucks. Hes our next generation of gearhead, and i love it.
I´m a regular viewer but this one was special because of the Inline 6. They are legendary for their reliability and there´s a lot of love for them out there. Food for thought. Great trip!
22:59 making poor ole J.D do all the work kid cant even play with his Play station or be on social media all day because his daddy has him doing stuff to help him survive in life 😂 Love PBG Happy new year and stay blessed my friend
Great to see you in a Rebel! My dad bought a '68 convertible brand new off the showroom floor and drove it until '82. 343 V8, sea green with a black top + interior. He liked it so much they ordered a '70 2 door new for my mom. Yellow with a black vinyl top, also V8. Also drove until '82. Extremely reliable cars. Both cars were donated to a local auto body school with around 150k on the clock (NE rust issues). I've never seen another Rebel on the road since...
those old amc vehicles are pretty decent machines if they're not all butchered up and beat to hell..what a great idea donating all the proceeds to the childrens hospital..i'm sure you made alot of kids' day with your kindness..i spent 9 weeks in cardinal glennon in st louis when i was a tiny tot and they saved my life..i had 106 temp and nothing was working to bring it down..9 weeks with 9 shots a day and ice baths 2 to 3 times a day it what it took to finally get it to break..yeah they saved me
I’ve been watching PBG since the beginning and after all the great episodes of “quality “ restorations and road trips I’ve decided the top of my bucket list is now to do a road trip exactly like this with Dalton. I’m to old for K2 and not crazy enough to tie a rope around my ankle and jump off a bridge, but I’m betting a restoration and road trip would be more adventurous and memorable than any of that.
Dalton what you did for the children for Christmas was nothing BUT absolutely Amazing Awesome you are a Good Hearted person with a amazing soul. You can ACT all cold hearted and mean BUT deep down you are an amazing person who does think of others and care about others. MERRY CHRISTMAS to you and your family even though it's a little late.
FANTASTIC - my 66 Rambler Rebel is the whole reason I started my channel. Love me some AMC's. 66 was the year that started the transition to the Rebel name, as AMC was working on the generation in this video. Fun video, love seeing what you do for the kids as well. Well done brother.
A friend, who is not into cars mind you, sent me this video (Been a subscriber for a few years, unbeknownst to him) with the instructions of watch to the very end....the donation at the end makes this video of the year for me. The fact this video is at 116k in 24 hrs says you broke through the car circle algorithm and got none car ppl watching. Well done sir, well done!!!
Spreading holiday cheer is what its all about! I used to run with a jeep club in Chicago that did a toy drive from Soldiers field up to the Army base on Fullerton every year. Miss doing it. The last year we represented it, we had over 500 4x4 vehicles. It was really great.
Hey guys. Just wanted to sincerely thank you for the VERY generous purchase of the toys. It will make many kids happy, and that makes me happy. This, among many other reasons is why I really love this channel. And btw you are my son's favorite influences. It doesn't hurt that his name is also Dalton. Thanks for all you do and helping inspire my son to begin our father/son project. It's a fully caged 78 Grand Prix.
Dalton and Buff, I just wanted to say Kudos for letting that little Rebel go so cheap. You could have gotten a lot more for it, because of its great condition. But the low price helped start that young man with out with a good base car to build onto. He could have easily spent triple that amount and still gotten stuck with a pos. Also thanks for the toys, thanks for putting in an appearance at the car show, if might have been a much smaller show without you guys there, ( less participants = less toy donations from those that attended the car show) And again thanks for helping that young man get started with a decent car.
Great way to end a video! Donating to the children's hospital was a cherry on top of a great vid! Thank you for all the content and just being a great person.
Canadian here. It's really cool to see you stopping at all the places I stopped at when I bought a truck in Tucson and drove it home to London Canada. I slept on the south side of I40 at Newkirk in the truck and was woken the next morning by some wild horses that came up from the desert.
As a now 20 year old I was diagnosed with heart failure at 16 and was sent into the children’s hospital and still to this day the original doctor that took me checks one me after every surgery and wants to see me every year er so. Those donations mean the world to so many kids now dalton thank you 🙏
You guys are great. You have a real down to earth way Dalton. You have a great family, you’re a great Dad and you are doing great things. Keep up the good work. Wish you all the best for the coming year.
Dalton you guys are God sent for those children who will be receiving those toys.. just wish we could have a video or photo for every smile you’re able to help make❤️You’d fill every wall and then some in your shop. One of the best videos yet so far man! Badass Ford wagon btw…
What a great little hot rod, those guys got a killer deal for only $750. Awesome as well getting the toys for the kids! As far as the 1pm sobriety check...I have personally seen someone failing a roadside sobriety test at 8:30am...
Yeah, that's no joke brother. I live right on the Missouri/ Arkansas border, the methican Americans can be spotted from 50 yards, by the poorly spray painted, rusty ford trucks, but some of the drunks blend surprisingly well.
Thanks for supporting kids while they go through some pretty terrible stuff. I have kids who rely on hospital services and the toys help them get their minds off of things, even for just a bit. Homerun on the car, and the gifts - Merry Christmas and Happy New year! 🎉🎉
Good seeing you both at the sandwich shop auction. The carwash you went to in Henderson. Is the one I use there. Good self wash. Locally owned. Had a great time. Thank you both
Another great episode. Liked the car, enjoyed the trip. When you went toy shopping, and said "maybe we'll just round it up to $1000". BUT, then you told Buff..." Even if it's $1500, I'll cover it". Much LOVE and RESPECT to you Dalton. You are a true hero.
I missed my chance to prank you guys while in Amarillo I was gonna swing by the Big Texan and slap a JYD sticker on the Rebel but I chickend out. Great vid and love the toy donation. You guys rock!
I put a 1000 CCA amp interstate battery In My 2003 park ave ultra and run 50/50 10/30 and 5/30 oil in It, it currently has 325K on original motor, rebuilt heavy duty transmission at 258K starts, runs, and drives great have had it for 6 years and love it, ❤ your channel and vids, we live north of yall in iowa,
The 1968 AMC Rebel could be equipped with the Borg-Warner M11 or M12 automatic transmission, depending on the engine option. These transmissions were air-cooled in certain configurations, meaning they didn't require a traditional liquid transmission cooler that uses lines to the radiator.
Good man Dalton, good man. You made a big difference for a bunch of kids. Just when I thought I couldn't like this channel any more than I do, you pull this stunt hahaha
Hot wheels are so good, they can even be carried in your pocket discreetly! Got Lots of mileage on on those cars 50 years ago, wore the paint off them suckers! Had oddball ones, throwaways back then, now they are rare collectibles! Loved them little hot wheels as a kid! My girls were given all the ones in fun colors.
Thank you for another great episode and a successful new concept. Great to see you are giving some of your success back and donate for children - so you could even get some to our side of car guys and girls 😉 Love your content since day one and you have evolved to my number one channel! Respect for your hard and constant work .
That Rebel looks like a fun little project for the kid to cut his teeth on...I just hope they can find parts for it! The wagon is a nice one at least 😎
What I like about this channel is how Dalton doesn't go out and spend lots of money on things instead he does things as cheaply and efficiently as possible which is cool and he doesn't have any silly sponsorships either which makes it better
When you’ve got a Toque Command under the hood all things are possible. Back in my day you had to get the special de-coder ring out of the cereal box to be a Torque Commander but now they’re lettin anybody behind the wheel of em. It’s unchristian.
Great video as usual my man. And its so awesome that you guys donated all those toys to a childrens hospital. That little Rebel sure was a trooper. Honestly not a bad looking car either
The shopping spree was the crowing jewel of this awesome video. You care and want to help people, it is noticed in this crazy world! I loved that you legitimately looked like you were having fun!
This is why you are my favorite creators on here. I love your videos and your a great person your videos make me want to purchase a old car and get one running and driving and keep it alive, anyway your a amazing RUclipsr your videos are amazing merry late Christmas
When you gave that cop a PBG sticker, and told her it's for your you tube channel, and then sped off, and said idiot's, i laughed so hard. I think a sobriety check at 1:00 A.M. in the morning would have made more sense than one in the afternoon. The number of police at this traffic trap was a waste of tax payer money in that county, how many people does it take to invade the public without probable cause at one in the afternoon. I enjoyed the whole trip, especially when you stop at abandoned gas station's. I was hoping the place with the old car's would have been open, i think it would have been a cool tour. Again, i thought the toy drop was awesome, because back in the 70's, i was stuck in a hospital a couple time's, and back then there was nothing going on. I did get a stuffed bear hand made out of some kind of bizarre polyester material that had creepy looking eye's, at 6 or 7 your not gung ho for that, I'd have been able to do something with a hot wheels lol. G-d bless, and have a happy new year.
Once I saw homemade cookies I at once knew the motivation behind the entire trip. Not surprised the Rebel made the journey. Very reliable engines - trans leaks are very common. My favorite AMC was my 74 Gremlin with 3 speed stick. Great to see you give away the toys and share your blessings.
Well done! It's sad RoadKill, Engine Masters, Roadkill Garage etc... got canceled. BUT... just like you said, it leaves a void you now can fill. Keep them coming!!!!
Good on you guys for sharing and caring, those gifts are gonna brighten some poorly kids days in hospital, great road trip, looking forward to part two.
17:40 I had a '78 LeMans that had Blue Tooth transmission cooler lines. One broke and it was easier to plug the radiator and transmission. Drove it that way for 2 or 3 years before I got rid of the car.
Been looking forward to this one for a while now! Glad you are getting some mileage (I crack me up) out of that case of ZDDP I sent you. Show the box, Dalton...it is such a cool logo.
That zddp fixed a junk 50 dollar 92 cavalier enough that the timing tensioner freed up and it got me all the way to Mobile on the coast from mid Ohio and back that car smoked a rattled horribly before I put the zddp in it still had to unplug the overdrive solenoid so the trans didn't hang in overdrive and stall when it warmed up the whole trip including the car and fuel only cost 400 bucks in 2000 best spring break ever
Man those sobriety checkpoints make me nervous and I don't even drink. Looks like a fun trip, can't wait for part 2. The Karma Balancing. Put a smile on my face to think of all the kids those toys are gonna go to man.
What a great video! The old AMC Rebel got 'er done! That was so cool that you donated all of the toys to The Children's Hospital. You guys definitely put some smiles on some kids faces who could really use a smile about now. Well done! Looking forward to the next one!
9:08 Holy smokes, I had one of these little radios when I was in scouts! We weren't allowed to have electronics, but they sold them at the scout shop for like 2 bucks by the mess hall. I bought one and sneakily listened to the radio at night before bed. Simpler devious times those were.
you guys are so great doing this for kids thats why i love your videos.
Man I'm sorry for your loss. I appreciate the kind words, I just hope that kids still like hot wheels..
Or anybody elses child either, for that matter. top
Miss those days from roadkill. Now its even better with you guys.
At the sober check point..."idiots" I died laughing! Awesome job for the kids! Thanks guys!
I always liked the clean body lines of the AMC Rebel. It's like AMC asked 1,000 3rd graders to "draw a picture of a car" to get their design cues.
No, that's how they got the last Matador, the Gremlin, and the Pacer!
We'll have to find those now old men and women and tell them at their retirement mcmansions in Miami, FL that they designed a nice car when they were in the 3rd grade. Their design paid them well.👍😂
I had a 76 Hornet. It was a poc. Plain
Old Car.
AMC were cars you either loved or hated. The ones I have owned were great except one of the Hornets but I bought it as a parts car and made money on it. Dalton is wrong about AMC veing the first ti build a unibody car though. The first was the Chrysler Airflow in 1933.
Just like the shape of Tesla cyber truck was designed by Musks 7 year old boy.
True story.
Thanks! Cheers Mate! 🍻
I have cars like that. I think they're probably cursed
You Rock Dalton! as a Dad, a friend, a good motorhead guy all around. John DeLorian would be proud of your Pontiac prowess. Thank you and Buff for the Tribute!
That was so very kind of you Dalton.... also for making it an even $1,000. ❤....You do an excellent job staying in touch with your viewers
Wouldn't be here without viewers, so I figure it's a chicken and the egg situation
Those are old school hydraulic shocks, no gas charge means they don't extend on there own. As long as the there is resistance and no dead spots they are fine.
Yeah that's what I was thinking.
Yeah and he chucked them out.
Very little resistance, my guess is they leaked out
You guys are awesome for that donation!! That makes me more than proud to be a low buck member
Awesome job on the toys for kids!!!
That was so much fun
The joy of you and Buff just buying everything in the toy aisles was evident!
Hungry children need toys
@@60EFFIE Well fed children need toys too.
Not nearly enough AMC car content on the web. Thanks for giving the other guys some love. Im an 80s kid and grew up with both parents in the 90s driving 2 AMCs. Kool. I saw both my car and myself in your video. Sweet, thanks guys it was a great time
Oh hell just throw a self tap'r along side of that snapped off valve cover bolt😂
I 100% agree with your assessment of Vegas at 1:03:35! I've been once for work and have no intention of going back.
Dalton and Buff, I just wanted to say Kudos for letting that little Rebel go so cheap. You could have gotten a lot more for it, because of its great condition. Ya'll are good guys!
Great way to end a video! Donating to the children's hospital was a cherry on top of a great vid! Thank you for all the content and just being a great person.
You guys are so awesome donating all those toys! Bless you guys! ♥And save some money for an ice pack for Birdsong! 👊

My dad literally lost a wheel, on his Avalanche, into a field of some sorts 😂😂 thought this was describing that
I have an entire video on it.
As a now 20 year old I was diagnosed with heart failure at 16 and was sent into the children’s hospital and still to this day the original doctor that took me checks one me after every surgery and wants to see me every year er so. Giving 1000$ worth of toys to sick kids shows what kind of guy Dalton is , just awesome, man !
Epic trip fellas! Thanks for taking us along!
My grandpa used to call the gas station the "oil station". Seems an appropriate name for this Rambler.
Did Gramps drink a lot? 😆
You guys are great. You have a real down to earth way Dalton. You have a great family, you’re a great Dad and you are doing great things. Keep up the good work. Wish you all the best for the coming year.
Thanks, you're too kind

Hey man- my son was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate- you made me tear up. You’re a great dad and person. Thank you.

Ended up over 1k.
Thanks for supporting kids while they go through some pretty terrible stuff. I have kids who rely on hospital services and the toys help them get their minds off of things, even for just a bit. Homerun on the car, and the gifts - Merry Christmas and Happy New year! 🎉🎉
It's the least we could do
You guys are awesome. Thank you for being who you are.
I grew up with old AMC cars. Dad worked in maintenance at The Motors in Kenosha. The Motors is how we referenced American Motors.
That's what I did for GM, really sad that amc is gone
Damn, Dalton and Buff. That was so much fun to watch, and the ending, with all the toys? Chef's kiss. You guys are awesome.
Good seeing you both at the sandwich shop auction. The carwash you went to in Henderson. Is the one I use there. Good self wash. Locally owned. Had a great time. Thank you both
Thanks dalton and Buff for doing the charity work YOU GUYS ROCK!! Awesomevideo!

I missed my chance to prank you guys while in Amarillo I was gonna swing by the Big Texan and slap a JYD sticker on the Rebel but I chickend out. Great vid and love the toy donation. You guys rock!
I put a 1000 CCA amp interstate battery In My 2003 park ave ultra and run 50/50 10/30 and 5/30 oil in It, it currently has 325K on original motor, rebuilt heavy duty transmission at 258K starts, runs, and drives great have had it for 6 years and love it, ❤ your channel and vids, we live north of yall in iowa,
MERRY CHRISTMAS GUYS. GREAT THING YOUR DOING.
Just when I thought I couldn't like this channel any more than I do, you pull this stunt hahaha
thank you for all you are doing brother!
You absolute legend posting this on Boxing Day just when I needed some entertainment!
Thank you for another great episode and a successful new concept. Great to see you are giving some of your success back and donate for children - so you could even get some to our side of car guys and girls 😉
Love your content since day one and you have evolved to my number one channel!
First time I ever teared up watching PBG was when you were loading all the toys into the cart. You’re good guys.
Who wouldn't have fun buying every single toy they saw 😂
JD is fricken awesome!!! You have taught that kid well!!! Love seeing him on the videos!!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS DALTON! AND CO.
Perfect start to a dreary day. Thanks PBG!
Dalton am I glad to see how happy everyone is with you in your life choices. Yes there crazy at times… but you have a lot of support Dalton
Glad you posted this i am only 80 miles from Vegas but was in Tenn when you were there. Gosh Darn
Well done!
It's sad RoadKill, Engine Masters, Roadkill Garage etc... got canceled.
BUT... just like you said, it leaves a void you now can fill.
Keep them coming!!!!
Hell yea, love my day after Christmas gift
Good on you guys for sharing and caring, those gifts are gonna brighten some poorly kids days in hospital, great road trip, looking forward to part two.
“Hah, idiots” 😂😂😂😂 that old plate working very well
That reminds me, I never got my wall art back.
The box may have been infested with brown recluses and may have been tossed 😅 I've been using it in just about everything though!
Honestly, what a cool car and a fun trip with a friend. Thanks for bringing us along.
Love the AMC! Great channel Dalton!
Man those sobriety checkpoints make me nervous and I don't even drink. Looks like a fun trip, can't wait for part 2. The Karma Balancing. Put a smile on my face to think of all the kids those toys are gonna go to man.
At least you wear shoes and socks. I especially love that neither off you are either of those other guys.
What a great video!
The old AMC Rebel got 'er done!
That was so cool that you donated all of the toys to The Children's Hospital.
You guys definitely put some smiles on some kids faces who could really use a smile about now.
Well done!
Looking forward to the next one!
Really good stuff. I like what you did at the end.
Dalton, You Sir have a heart of gold!! I'm So Very Proud of You & I forget his name!!! That's Awesome What Y'all Are Doing!!!
Advancing the education of Home Mechanics everywhere!...👍
You guy hit a HOME RUN!!!!!! and yes it brought tears to my eye's... Awesome video, God Bless......
That Pontiac and Ranchero were there 2 years ago when we were on vacation.
9:08 Holy smokes, I had one of these little radios when I was in scouts! We weren't allowed to have electronics, but they sold them at the scout shop for like 2 bucks by the mess hall. I bought one and sneakily listened to the radio at night before bed. Simpler devious times those were.
So hooked by this, you always nail it!
