Nice mafia body transporter - as in five, six bodies in the trunk, easy...
I got mine, and I love it! Just gotta figure where I'll put the stickers. Good quality tho for sure
Why pack grease in a cut? When you could do what my granddad used to do. A shot of brake clean/ or carb clean lmfaooooo- makes a man outta ya hahahaha 😂😂😂
Just ordered!
This was one of the best episodes ive seen for a while! That whole "Grandpa Ezra" thing at the end killed me!
I was under the table when he came out of the closet. 😂Jeez ! That guy is incredible. Thanks for showing !
It's amazing they got Amy Schumer on the channel.
The further they drove the more north his accent went. At the end he was sounding full Canadian.
That was the best!
😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅@@JohnDoe-en9ch
Ezra's Minnesota granddad impression is frickin' Hysterical! You betcha!
If anyone isn't from MN and think it's over the top impression, no way. Find an 80 year old guy in rural MN, he'll sound just like this with the same mannerisms. Spot on impression, hilarious.
Hi, From Casa Oaxaca in Minburn. Thank you guys for stopping by! Hope y'all can stop by again in the future.
I like how Ezra's larp got older and older as they went along.
Instead of the beach that makes you old, its the Cadillac that makes you old.
All hail Grandpa Ezra!
The 1964 dime you found under the rear seat is 90% silver. Worth keeping.
Facts.
My thoughts exactly.
That was the last year of 90% silver in dimes, quarters and half dollars. 1965 was when the "sandwich" coins came out.
It was big news in my kindergarten class
In a few years you might get 3 bucks for it.
1:01:13 on the right side of the carb (when looking to the front of the car) you have a vacuum diaphragm actuator, swap it from the carter to the edelbrock (don’t forget the lever) or rebuild the carter and put it back on. You need it for the AC, thats the idle speed up control for when the AC compressor kicks on. Also, regarding the radiator, the AC cadillacs had a better radiator with more cooling capacity than the none AC cadillacs so beware of that, and last but not least, they put a shorter rear end in it, i guess to compensate for the power loss from the AC. Hope this helps but that diaphragm is important ! Its an automatic AC and it all runs on vacuum so if you have a leak its not gonna work, the whole system needs to be there for it to work properly
😅😅😅
"Damn Government" 🤣😂🤣 Ezra, brother we love you!
He's comedy gold!
Heck ya awesome content
Grandpa Ezra was one of the funniest segments I've ever seen lmao. I about died laughing when I heard Sunshine Lollipops & Rainbows come on the radio!!!
😍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘💖💖💖💖💖💖💕💕
Your dad is the Paint Obi-Wan Kenobi. It is always such a pleasure to hear someone speak about something they are incredibly knowledgeable about in such a calm, competent, and plain manner. Your dad always brings such warmth to an episode.
"It's an aircraft carrier with whitewall tires."
That one-liner is up there with, "Introducing the 1971 Chrysler Newport, the car that thinks it's a house!
That beast is 100% original gangster.
Ezra absolutely pulled the part off beautifully! At one point I'm thinking of myself you know these stories that he's telling are actually believable lol. What a time capsule of a car though! Absolutely awesome video guys. Really nailed this one! Can't wait to see the next
I can only imagine he's heard a few genuine old timer stories in his time. When he's talking about signing up in '43 it reminded me of my Grandad over here in the UK who told me he signed up for the Royal Navy because he knew the draft was coming and if he was going to have to be shot at at least in the Navy he could do it sitting down.
I'm an old cadillac guy. And it's my favorite color. Love it. The grandpa Ezra bit was friggin hilarious.
Kevin, Angus and Tom always make for an entertaining combo.
Kevin, Angus, Tom, Steve, Mook, Tom sr and Esra.
Well, Tom is certainly a legend in Iowa.
Ezra and your dad should be on the channel more often. And Angus is a perfect sidekick and some more Mook would be nice too.
++++ on the Mook, shes a hoot
@@stevenreynolds2327 that’s his wife man have some respect 😭
@@BryceRipple What the hell did I say that was disrespectful..good gawd man
@@stevenreynolds2327my apologies I read that completely wrong, thought it said “she’s a hot” that’s on me
@@BryceRipple lol, I was so confused...thanks and happy new year.
Ezra needs an Oscar after that performance! Well done!
You're so fortunate to have your dad, enjoy every second with him.
And if you're a dad, please make the effort to be close to your children. My dad's years are fading but we've never connected, I spent most of my life afraid of him and because of that I found myself lacking a lot of life skills when I became an adult, not to mention being more than little emotionally messed up.
@-Ricky_Spanish- you've kind of told my life story.
@@-Ricky_Spanish-100%. Appreciate those loving relationships if you're fortunate enough to have them. Without it your life could be so much worse.
Some of my favorite episodes are when you get your dad involved. My dad and I spent many years on our garages working on old Roadrunners that he and I still own to this day and it just brings back happy memories for me. Enjoy those times man.
I have to agree totally, PLEASE PLEASE enjoy these times with your father... Nothing on the planet can compare to time with dad when you no longer can, Have been a fan since the Fiat 850. had 3 of those and learned to move the engine and tranny to the body that we wanted to drive in 35 mins. I have also learned allot from you. I thank you!!
Ezra was hilarious; I really enjoyed this episode. Dad, as usual, did not disappoint with his paint restoration knowledge.
One of your best videos to date . I was almost in tears laughing at "Grandpa's" commentary at the end . I didn't even realize that I have been watching for over a hour .. You are awesome . ... And I want to thank you , that smoke machine helped me out finding a couple of vacuum leaks on my OBD Ford .
Heck yeah!!

The revival was awesome! The bit with Ezra starting at 1:02:39 to the end had me rolling 😂😂 good on you all for thinking of him with this beautiful find of a car.
Kevin, Angus, everyone involved in the Junkyard Digs channel, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! For three years I had a dream of a very specific American classic. As a European, it's rare to see one on the road and even rarer to see one for sale, but I got it, in part thanks to you guys. Your video of this wonderful red 1976 Oldsmobile 98 made me stop staring at the only car for sale in Europe and instead, just go for it. It arrived here on December 22nd, in all its glory. And it still needs some work, but it drives, steers and brakes like a new car, no, better! I couldn't have dreamed for it to be any better! Many, many thanks, really! If you hadn't bought your Olds back then, I would never have been able to bring myself to buy one. And now... I probably have the most beautiful first car ever!
I do have a question though. As Big Olds is about to turn 49 years old, there are of course some problems that need to be adressed, one of which is the driver's side rearview mirror being broken. Do you by any chance know where I could source one? I've covered almost every other part I need, but I haven't been able to find any driver's side mirrors, but dozens of passenger side mirrors for whatever reason. XD
Hope Kevin sees this!
Never mind about the mirror, what's behind you is not important. ---Butchered quote from one of the Cannonball movies.
@@n1r0l Yeah well... I need the mirror to get it registered and road legal here. Just like the horn, but that I can figure out. XD
would searching for the GM part number of the driver's side mirror help?
@@rawr51919 I ain't found it yet. I'm either too stupid to figure it out, or my Google just doesn't get what I want.
Kevin, thanks for the video; it brought back a lot of good memories. My dad bought a gold 1968 Coupe Deville in 1976. It had the "small" 472 engine. That's what I took my driver's test in.
I'm 63 years old, and I've been working on cars all my life, but I keep getting valuable info from you. You are a natural teacher, and it's great to see you working with your dad, the paint whisperer! Kudos to him; he raised you right. I wish you and your gang a wonderful 2025.
I love Ezra the granddad impression was on point I definitely need to see him in more videos. And the caddy is awesome. One day I’ll find my forever classic. Thanks for sharing.
You should park at a railroad crossing and honk at trains, see which horn is louder
😂😂
It may even be able to complete with clarkson's 600 Grosser Mercedes horn
@@JunkyardDigs I'm just curious if you sold the caddy to Ezra or gave it to him as a wedding gift? LOL
Test it against one of those power drill train horn things
The train sees that caddy on the tracks and it's like 'oh man I want no part of that. Caddy outweighs me by a ton dontchaknow'
i loved the driving segments. Ezra's so naturally funny, able to come up with bullshit on the fly is a TALENT!
YES!
Kevin. Seeing you and Dad working together brought back so many memories like that with mine. Some as a kid when he wasn't deployed, many as an adult, hunting and processing deer, house projects, yard, and shop, including most things with wheels, and several without. Building black powder kits, dog training, and rides.
He's still here, 74, still working PT because he enjoys it. Coffee place. Perfect for a retired marine.
Sacrificed my last foot the week we became grandparents. Still wrenching, helps pay for the prosthetic, and start the new journey, learning to walk, Again.
Wife and I look forward to the new one every week, and use it as our time.
Thank you for entertaining and inspiring me on my bad days.
💕💕💕💕❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍😘😘
1:18:49 that was the best spark knock start I’ve ever heard in my life 🤣 that just added pure old man car energy to the whole thing!
😂😂😂 so that's what it is. Agreed it was the cherry on top.
@1:10:10 when Ezra is into story time and Angus' face... hahahahaha I couldn't even hear the story I was laughing so much I had to go back and play it like 3 or 4 times before I got through it. Love it! Nice job on this one for sure boys!
When he pointed at "Bill" is when I fuckin died. So good.
It actually sounds like a genuine Yooper...Or northern Minnesotan/ Wisconsin dialect. Dontcha know.
Always great when you work with your Dad!
Thanks Kevin
Some of us are old enough to remember when most of the vehicles you guys revive came off the show room floor. That's one thing that keeps me interested, seeing those cars of my day back on the road again. Outstanding job on that paint.
Grampa Ezra is a great character. I love how you bring fun to your videos like that. Cool old car.
nahh man, this had rollin' with the laugh 😂😂, pretty nice episode after a long time, wish we could also see our good ol' uncle luke with gradpa Ezra...
I'm sorry, but as a brit I had a chuckle at the antifreeze brand you were using to fill the radiator.. Durex is the best selling brand of condoms in the UK.. lol! I may be 48, but potty humour always gets me...
They sell them here too...or so I've been told.😛
They sell 'em over on this side of the pond too.
Well in that case at least the radiator is “protected against leaks” 😂
63 yr old Yorkshireman here, brit to our yankee friends, and potty humour does it every time.On a less serious note that is one glorious hunk of purple land yacht!
They sell them here too, but they tend to split and once that happens, they don’t work too good.
I fucking love when you have ezra on the channel!!
i was thinkink that, this content its not only free, but it better than any show that you can buy in other websites, this is crazy guys.
Good job Kevin, and thank you!!!
Not even from the states, but would love to get to meet you one day
That is awesome that Ezra is going to keep the car. I really did not see that coming but a fitting ending indeed and Cheryl will enjoy many long strolls together what happened behind closed garage doors stays behind closed garage doors.😂😂
❤❤❤❤❤❤😍😍😍😍💕💕💖💖
Just have to appiciate a cannel growing so big, to buy and fix a car, decent as this one just to give it avay (not even makeing a fuss about it) to someone as deserving as Esra, yet staying so down to earth! Junkyard Digs you are the GOAT! Love you guys!
Hands down, this is your best video yet. Ezra talking like grandpa had me in stitches. And boy oh boy, I wish they built land yachts like that in the UK. Please do another one like this again sometime, and get Ezra to drive it.
By the way, I'll be 60 the end of this year but still remember my granddad talking like that whenever us grand kids were in the car. He'd tell us (my 2 sisters and i) stories about the old days and how we're are better off now. Funny thing is, i tell my kids they have it better these days. Just imagine life without the Internet, and youtube, netflix and amazon's next day delivery. Hell, we had first and second class mail and we got TWO deliveries a day!
That's enough old talk from me, but once again, thank you for a great video............👍👍👍
Always fun to see your dad working his magic on the paintwork!
Putting the 3 of you together had me laughing so hard I was crying 😂. Love that tank. Thank you for sharing 👌 😊
Yeah, and when the muffler fell of - bwahahahaha!
This is what makes a Monday truly special. Love Ezra embracing his true nature. Please have him full time!

This is now my absolute favorite episode of your channel! Your content is always entertaining and I loved seeing Angus and Mook. I gotta say though, young "Old Grampa" Ezra stole the show! Ezra is an absolute hoot! Thanks for making this actual, old grandpa laugh out loud! Please keep supplying us all with your wonderful content. I truly appreciate it, and you Kevin, very much.
I love how you explain what you're doing in your videos because a person can learn a lot from you. Thanks for another great video Kevin.
Wow, that first spot your dad buffed really showed a great before/after shot. What a difference!
OG body man! His knowledge was staggering.
I always love watching and listening to your dad work, his sheer level of knowledge on body work is incredible.

Beautiful color for a 1966 DeVille 4-door.
This Cadi came out awesome! Like that you and your dad got to work on it while reminiscing about the one you guys owned prior. Hope Ezra enjoys it until he’s an actual grandpa!
22:42 I’m 20 and love watching and learning everything from this man I watched every single video!
Awesome video.
TBH, one of the best ever!
That is one of the most honest, straight, rust free, clean, smooth running Caddies you could get.
Super nice.
Ezera is going to have some great times in that car.
Well done!
All the years I've been buffing cars, especially ones like this with lots of "character", when you make that big of an improvement in the SHINE, it helps overpower all the scratches and dings. Car looks great!
Ezra's adlibbing skills are off the charts... Damn that was fun.
😍😍😍😍💕💕💕💕💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
There's an old Ford LTD sitting in the grass next to a garage in a yard of one of my neighbors. The original owners moved out and new people moved in and I seriously doubt they're ever gonna do anything with it. I don't have the room to mess around with it in my driveway, but I would love to see JYD grab it (I'd stay out of the video, I'm supremely camera shy). I'm in Virginia though, about an hour west of Richmond, so I doubt they'd come all this way just for a broken LTD. It is a rarer version though, V8 automatic 4 door.
There's actually 2 other vehicles I can think of that have just been sitting there for as long as I've lived here (8+ years now) and the owners might not mind parting with them for cheap/free. There's an old Chevy or Ford stepside that's covered in moss in a driveway, and at another house maybe 8 minutes up the road is a blue Chevy truck half-way in a bush.
Honestly I'd take all of em and flip the trucks for a good chunk of cash
I've got friends in Bedford.
@rawr51919 Who cares if anyone else gets a good deal on an antique automobile they would keep and enjoy? Just as long as you get your chunk of change. I bet you keep kosher as well.
What year LTD is it?
@@jakereal3604 Not sure really, could never get a good read on the vin in the dash, it's old enough that it's different to a modern vin and won't read properly on most sites. I wanna say 80's though?
Your Dad is a paint genius! Really enjoying listening to his amazing knowledge!!
THAT'S a nice old Cadillac! That thing is a literal time capsule of Detroit steel. You amaze me with some of the stuff that you find. Love it! Can't wait till your next video!
It’s an absolute beauty! My European ass is jealous, I want one of those!
Always a treat watching your dad run the high speed!
Ezra is a talent! He was really funny and quick witted. I grew up in MN and he sounds just like folks I remember. Been gone for nearly 40 years.
49 years old, here. I was crushed by 1,200 lbs. of Argon gas cylinders two and a half years ago. I feel like an 80 year old ALL THE TIME. I think I'm beyond taking AG1. Very cool Cadillac!
Moving the liquid nitrogen tanks at work already scares me, I guess that fear is validated. I hope you feel better in the future!
But your gut and mental health will be better than ever. Ha
David, too late for that. 😂 GetOffMyLog, as long as you respect their destructive power, you'll be alright. If they start to fall over, get out of the way.
@JasonMyers-c6z that's honestly good advice for anything over 10 or 20 lbs total, especially at work, it's not worth getting maimed at work and hoping they take care of you like they should
Ezra is honestly my favorite part of this video lol pure gold. He's so much fun!
This is absolutely incredible. What a stunning example. Wow. One of my favourite rescues that you done yet!! Also Ezra looks like a young Dan Ackroyd
Great episode guys, the caddy is a beauty.
It was a treat seeing Ezra, he is a funny young man, kinda reminds me of Tim Conway. Love the channel, keep up the great work.👌🤘👍🔥
Thats Exactly what I was thinking, he sounds and talks just like Tim Conway, one of my all time favorite comedians, he has a future in comedy if he wishes lol
Let's go!! That freaking Cadillac has more torque than my 2017 F150 5.0L 4x4 supercrew?? Damm!!
Im 15 and I love These Videos, please keep them Up 🔥
Damn what a difference after your Dad did his magic the Car looks absolutely amazing your Dad definitely knows his shit.

Damn.. u made my whole day... Howdy Angus... You're like the Kramer for this show... Cosmo Kramer😂
Ezra stole the episode, but my goodness the face Angus makes in the back seat during the war story! I wish you all good fortunes for this new year.
We just sold my late papas 65 Deville convertible, I remember riding around in it a few times and big smokey burnouts, I have a very strong attachment to these cars.
As my first car, I am currently getting his daily that has been sitting 4 years on the road, a 1993 Deville. Love that car, starting the brakes January 10th
Also I resonate with ezras car buying story so well, my grandmother's name is Cheryl and straight after my papa and her divorced, my papa bought the 65'!
if you work hard enough you might be able to buy it back :)
12:26 the safest radiator fluid known to man 😂
What a find , I'm impressed with how nice it cleaned up.
That's a beautiful caddy. One of my favorite year, nice, Happy New Year.
is anyone else excited for Kevin to find more abandoned antique farm tractors and get them running and plant corn and beans this year. I'm always excited to see when Kevin does that.
Just what I needed today ❤
You have a really Awesome Kool Dad.
The shine is like going to town shiney. If you can see yourself smile looking at the paint shes ready for the show. Granpa and Grandma owned one like that, they would drive from LA to Vegas a couple times a month enjoying their retirement. Land Yachts. Awesome ending got me about rollin on da floor.
Keep an eye on the harmonica balancer and the oil pump both 2 things that kill old Cadillacs
Perfect circle also makes steering and suspension components. I'm not sure anymore but at one time they were under Dana corporation. 20 years ago the parts store I work for sold Perfect Circle and Mcquay Norris chassis parts and they all had the Dana diamond logo on the box.
This has got to be the best episode in a minute. Grandpa Ezra was fantastic! OMG I don’t know who’s funnier him or Angus. Thank you so much for the great video. Hi Mook!❤
That looks like it spent all its life in a garage. A vehicle in such good shape that is this age is rare.
I miss Mook. I hope she didn’t quit because of all the haters. She’s awesome.
I surely hope that’s not the reason.
She had that wedding thing to do most of the last year.
I miss booger scope! Mook's humor is the best kind of silly!
Makes me miss the 74 El Dorado and 72 Coupe and Sedan DeVille's my dad had in the early 2000's. Out here in the PNW, there wasn't any rust on them and the interiors were near perfect. Man... we had it SO good!

Great episode! That caddy is gorgeous. Love that dark purple color on there. Back in 1976 my father bought a new cadillac fleetwood brougham. It was a mile long and the most comfortable car I've ever been in. I have lots of great memories of riding in the back and then driving it myself when i got my license in 1981. Ezra was frickin' hysterical at the end. I think he truly appreciates the awesome car he's getting. Hope he gets to enjoy it for years.
Thanks for bring Tim Conway back to life
My friend had a Cadillac just like that when we were in are 20's. I had a fantastic LSD trip in the backseat on a drive home from a cottage, that car was so much fun with all the windows open and all that space. It will do doughnuts btw.
I love limited slip differentials! Eaton are my favorite
EZRA is a STAR. We laughed and laughed at his northern accent. You all are very entertaining when you cut loose with the northern dialect.
4:40, shortest episode ever.
Dad had straight up muscle memory starting the buffing.
She's a Majestic beast. I was 11 in 1966 and remember these very well. Happy to see she'll be well cared for.
The driving skit at the end had me losing it. Thank you for that!
