LOL! I'm making this right now, but I had to leave a comment because as hard as I try to distance my cat from my crochet, there's always cat hair in my yarn. I guess it's inevitable when you have cat haha.
Oh how they do love the yarn 🧶 😂🐈
I love how you've simplified all the steps and I totally like how to explain stuff. You're amazing
Thank you, that’s wonderful feedback x
Thank you so much all the way from South Africa, excellent video !!!!
I love this tutorial though a point for anyone who needs to hear this, you can start with a magic ring for the center too! I found that to be easier for me.
Great tip thanks :-)
Going so fast couldn’t keep up especially for the slipknot. Please do it slower.
I used your coaster video yesterday and made 11. 😜 Now I’m on to this - how many you think I can make in one day? 😆
Wow that's amazing :-) In one day, maybe 15?
It was going really well untol suddenly it wasnt! At some point it just became a mess of holes and much more circular than square... ah well, practise practise practise!
We’ve all been there! Yes indeed, lots of practise :)
Hi mine name is Susan Aikman.
Is lovely.

That's was my first project😊😊😊

hi thank you for your commits
You are very welcome
hi, what yarn did u use?
Sirdar Chunky No. 1
Thank you for the tutorial! I actually managed to learn it on my 2nd attempt. [That's a new record] It's really easy to follow!
That's great!
Thank you for this video! My coaster is not as tight. Do I need thicker yarn, smaller needle or just crochet tighter?
If you find your tension is a little looser you could indeed either size up your yarn or down in hook size. It depends what I have available in my my yarn stash.
good morning crochet and tea my granny square is now 56in square total it is getting bigger
Wow, that's amazing! What's your goal size?
I just wanted to thank you. I am 38 yo and just now starting to teach myself crochet. You are very easy to follow and your voice is calming when I get frustrated with myself lol
Welcome to the wonderful world of crochet. I hope you enjoy your journey :)

Great idea :-)
U should open up a crochet lesson like people can come to you and learn, they will be done and dusted in no time, cause of how well you explain it thank you so much ❤❤❤
Maybe one day!
@@CrochetandTea yeyy!
What color yarn I need to get to crochet a granny square coaster
You can use any colour you like, I used a mustard one for this tutorial :-)
how do you finish it off, as in, freeing your work from the hook? Sorry I have no idea what terms to use to define/ describe this final passage as I'm an absolute beginner
If you snip your yarn leaving a tail about 6 inches and then pull that through the loop on your hook to create a little knot. You can then weave your end in using a large blunt needle or your crochet hook. If you weave it along the back of the coaster to the centre and meet up with your tail from the beginning, you can then tie these together to secure and then snip off the ends. Hope that helps ☺️
If you need a video demostration, she shows this in her 'flat circle coaster' video!
I love your videos. You give clear instructions.
That's awesome to hear thank you so much :-)
