Thank you for this well explained and crystal clear guidance. The pace is so good for a geometry node noobie. You've earned a Sub.

Very nice and detailed tutorial! I like how you are figuring out along the way. Knowing the problems which my occur is just as important as to know what buttons to press, or nodes to connect, in this case. Thank you!

Amazing tutorial man! Also, there's actually a way of getting flat shading without having to split the edges by adding a "Set Shade Smooth" node and unchecking "Shade Smooth".

awesome tutorial! How wouldyou modify the node tree, so that each individual crystal has a new unique/random form/ different cuts so they all look different from each other (mainly for the big crystals, cause they get the most attention)

Fun fact: this is what the inside of Link's rupee pouch actually looks like after a few days of running around Hyrule.

The one in the intro is the same geometry nodes setup but placed on a uv sphere that is scaled on the z-axis. Hope that helped :)

Heb je blender autodidactisch jezelf aangeleerd of heb je een grafische/vfx/3D opleiding genoten?
