Just bought a brand new battery and it would not take a charge so I had to return it.

I had the same issue. 1st the 2nd battery. Then the charger itself. Got warranties now just in case. 60v batteries hopefully will hold up moving forward.
The fast charger works better than the cheap charger that comes with battery! Plus when batteries are charged, the charger shuts off,so no over charging! I got fast charger with my new Hart leaf blower this year! Weed whacker I got last year. Now with having power head, I'm buying attachments! I got tree pruner and snow shovel so far. I'm sure you recycled battery already? But you could have brought it back to life with a car charger for lithium batteries! Thanks for another great video!
Yeah I figured that it probably did but I wasn't very for sure. I don't even use this lawnmower anymore cuz I keep it as a backups. I have a gasoline one now. I know they're like 79 to like almost 100 bucks for a fast charger. The only reason why I never bought one cuz I wasn't very for sure how good it was because of the batteries were crap and the original charger takes four to five hours to fully charge. I wasn't going to take the chance cuz I know the batteries is where they get you.
Why did get a replacement battery so if it ever dies and I'll try the car battery trick. I tried the other way around with a battery charger like people were able to do with most batteries, but since it was my first battery operated lawn mower I didn't know how it eventually worked what. I appreciate it as well and we do have some more heart videos on here as well
I’m currently dealing with the same issue. The battery won’t charge and the charging port keep shutting off. 😢

No I did not need my receipt. All they needed was proof of the batteries, serial and model number including the lawn mower serial number and model number. They need both and that's how they check the warranty and to be sure you get the right battery for that lawn mower that you got

Your welcome hart has great customers service I just wait on hold Mondays normally busy for them it took me roughly 24 mins till I got ahold of someone when I did they didn't fight me at all or given be hell I hope you get your replacement remember they have 3 year battery 5 years for mower
I just bought hart mower. Battery now bad. Lost receipt. Hart won’t send me a new battery. Never again will I buy hart.
@@brianstewart3436 Yes I was told they started doing the whole receipt thing 3 years ago they weren't. They were just allowing you to have proof of model number for both items and that's how they were able to track the warranty. But I heard as of a year ago they were starting to check receipts. Never buy a heart lawn mower
