- In this weekly vlog of Barefoot Travels we start a 5 minute job ... why are they never 5 minute jobs!
We are preparing the boat to leave for The Bahamas so making room for as much provisions as possible is important!
The sink is definitely better than it was before and we can handle a slight drip!
As for the windows! What do you think!!! We love how they give more privacy and have our logo on them! Let us know what you think in the comments below!

The logo looks GREAT , putting it there obviously doesn’t impede your vision out the front and people usually see the side longer than the front and mostly don’t look extremely hard at the back as they think they missed mostly all of what is/was going by . Top notch keep on cracking on !🤩🤩🤩

@@BarefootTravels maybe pump compressed air (scuba tank or small air compressor) into it and see if bubbles come out a thru hull on the outside of the hull.
Awesome job on your boat, did not read all the comments but if no one has thought about it, Here is an idea on how to find the mysterious hose problema well that is if you have a small compressor and if you haven’t thought about it yet, with no more than 15 pounds blow some air through the hose and see where is coming out, hope this helps let me know

Remember your privacy disappears when your interior lights go on ..Like nets or voils.
Young neighbours didnt realise that one 🤭.
But good idea👍🏼 .. yellow/gold tints increase contrast by blocking glare ... good for grey and misty days. 🌐🇬🇧⛵
The hope was to keep the privacy even with lights on inside. The product isn’t exactly the same as what we hoped for unfortunately. But still not bad!

The dots only work when the light striking them is stronger than inside.. the mirror film works better but again the light inside tends to render it more translucent at night.

Heartwrenching history,thank you for such a good channel with rich content and honest vids of daily life onboard...question can you get a selfie type. stick to do videos and a remote microphone to get a bit of distance from camera,gopro,phone used ..stay strong your subscribers will increase,the world has change as we slowely being let out of state of emergency and lockdowns so focus will shift to getting production and work processes back into place ..but it will bounce back to more subscribers and views as routine settles in..you will always be our favourite family channel 🤗😁

Yea we want to get a small induction stove top eventually. But the ninja does everything we need and more at the moment so no rush!
Another great vlog Davy, Erica the windows are fabulous what a top idea. Erica looks like uv got a few tidying jobs to do and best get that mold soughted bloody stuff spreads like crazy in a humid environment and bad for breathing in, I use those little moisture catching containers work good , So much safer on passage to have a clean organised boat. Looking forward to u both setting off. U both deserve to ride the swell, wind in um well Ericas hair🤣 and smiles for miles. Chat later 🇦🇺⛵🍺🌈
Yes the mild has all been cleaned. It smells much better. It’s my weekly routine to clean all surfaces to prevent anymore. The only problem is there are some really hard to get to places!!

The removable strainers are available....but they tend to clog up very easy 🙄 so you have to remove them to get things to drain.... So they tend to be self defeating ... Large Bottle traps can work but they need cleaning out .. like your S traps.
We’ll just be more careful from now on. Plus not sure how much of this was from previous owners. We really do try not to wash bits of food down it.

Thanks! Yes it does help with heat but not so much with privacy. You can still see in at night time 😞
Where is the drone footage of the new window covering?
Those flexi pipes are crap ,had trouble with them loads of times
That extra hose doesn't go to some port in the hull so you can drain straight into the water does it? For when you are on crossings? Of course that is with me assuming that your gray water goes to a holding tank.
We do not have a grey water holding tank it goes overboard and it is above the water line. We still have no idea where that hose goes

Neither. I stayed primarily up in the airlie beach. And Erica was based out of the Gold Coast/Brisbane area. But she’s travelled the entire country

Not too bad. The only bad part is when it rains you can’t see out too much. And it doesn’t really hide the crazing 😞
Seems Erica is not pulling her weight well what do you do on a boat if a system is not working? Well you swap it out for a newer better model :)
