Thank you so much! My sunflower coaster came out gorgeous!! :D

I made this with lily sugar n cream yarn (cotton) and a 4.5mm hook. The petals came out a little bit crowded, but I think that actually makes it look more like a realistic flower. Thank you so much for this pattern! I'm excited to give a set of these coasters as a gift.

That sounds beautiful! I agree, if they overlap a little, it makes it very natural and realistic 🌻 🎁

Thank you for this beautiful pattern! I loved it, very easy to learn. It was also helpful to learn a different terminology besides the american names as some patterns use them and I didn’t know them. I already made two while watching tv tonight, tomorrow I’ll make two more. I’m decorating my house for my husband’s bday, he loves sunflowers, this was just perfect ❤🎉

I had the same problem!! I was making it for a family friend so I rewatched more closely and noticed I missed some of the stitches. For example if you pay attention to the third row she alternates between a double stitch and two double stitches in each loop. It also helped to count how many stitches I was supposed to have after each round was complete. Hope this helps!!🥰
