Best coaster tutorial I've seen! It's also so nice to see that someone else crochets the way I do. All the tutorials I see never show someone keeping a finger on the yarn on the hook and has always made me feel like I'm doing something wrong.

Thank you for this! Not my first attempt to make a beginner crochet project following a RUclips video but for sure the first one I felt really proud of and like I’m finally starting to get the hang of crocheting. Thank you for your slow, detailed patient walk through, it really clicked for me.

Hi Caylene! I want to thank you SO MUCH for your excellent tutorial on these pretty doilies! I've been crocheting over 40 years, and struggle to get good, easy patterns!
Yours is a First! Yaaaay! I just made your doily, and it came out flat and beautiful! All I gotta do now is press it gently, and voila!
Thank you from my heart! Please share more!!! Shalom! 💜🕊💜✡️✝️💜🕊💜

Question! Sometimes when I start a project I may not have the correct size yarn at the time, do you have any tips when sizing up or down how to know how many chains would work better? For example, when initially closing the ring, you did 20 counts. Could I do less rings with bigger yarn for it to still work? Loved your video it was super easy to follow along! Best one I’ve found so far ❤️
