Hello Robin, when I was a young mum I taught myself to crochet from an old fashioned instruction book. I used crochet cotton and recently came across a tray cloth I had made. I was astonished at how well done it was. Unbelievable, especially since I have tried to pick up crochet again and am finding myself having to relearn even down to holding the hook and yarn. I have come across your very helpful videos and am trying the beautiful square with puffs first and trying to persevere. It's not easy. I have arthritis in my hands. When I saw this blanket I watched every bit of the video. It's fascinating and I really want to give it a go when I have managed the square. Hello Robin, this is just wonderful, I just ordered some yarn online and was thinking about what stitch to use but now I know what stitch to use lol I've tried your chevron stitch tutorial but always get frustrated with the foundation row and choose another stitch but this one is great for me, I have made several granny square blankets before so now I'm gonna write down the written pattern and wait patiently for my yarn delivery lol thank you so much for being such a great teacher 🥰🥰
Hello Renee, thank you so much!😃 I’m glad you’re going to give it a go and thank you for your kind words. No need to write the pattern out as it will be coming to my website soon: www.hookedbyrobin.com/
