Thank you so much !! Ah I wish 1930s/1940s fashion would come back into stores... but at the same time I know the fit and craftsmanship wouldn't be the same lol
Your so pretty and I always love your hair style! You made me laugh watching the brush out, like watching a foreign film when the translation doesn't sync with the mouth LOL! I would have never guessed your natural hair is so straight. I really appreciate all the work you do to get that beautiful 1940's style! I guessing that's the tall can of hair spry you got for Christmas lol! ☺
Happy New Year! Thank you so much for this tutorial, it was really helpful to see which way you rolled the sections. And may I say you look gorgeous even without any make-up on, your skin really looked flawless! I remember my grandmother setting her curls with Elnett while wearing a capelet from the 1950s with embroidered flowers on it, tied in front with a bow to protect her clothes. Something like that would really match your vintage style!
I'm glad I explained it properly haha. vintage hair has been a rollercoaster for me, it took me a while to get the hang of it. I think what helped was having my hair shorter, it didn't hold when it was long, so it didn't look right. However there are tons of vintage wearing girls that have long hair and their hair looks authentic and it works ! not sure how they set their hair or get it to hold tho. It's funny you say that I've been thinking of cutting mine shorter for the spring!
i could never set the whole front part of my hair in 1 roller 😂. i'm so jealous. my hair is way to thick for that. i need at least 6. so it takes me quite a while to set it all in rollers. love the style though so i will keep on doing it. just jealous that you can do it in 15 minutes. looks so lovely on you!
haha what do you mean??? I used 4 rollers for the front part of my hair. And then one on each side so thats 6 for the front section. Thank you so much, I do it every day so I can do it pretty quickly now, it used to take me while at the beginning
Beautifully done! On the contrary, it was very well explained. Now I need to get me some of those pillow rollers!!! I have foam rollers with a plastic clip close which half the time unclips from one side or the other and always leave a dent in my hair. 😡 Once my bob grows out a bit more, I know what I'm trying!!! ☺💕
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it ! Pillow rollers are SO easy to use ! i have some of those sponge rollers with the clips, and I always feel like they are going to break lol. I use these pillow rollers every day but they do start giving out one by one around the year mark. But considering I've used them over 300 times its understandable lol. They are also affordable so I recommend them !
What a great tutorial. You explained it extremely well. Such a chic look for a pretty young lady. I love everything vintage. Can you include the title of the music and who the singer is. I love the music pieces you chose for each video.
Super nice hairstyle❤ although i set my hair in vintage styles for about 15 years I love watching other people doing it, learming new tehniques. Also, I'm envous of how quick you are able to set your hair to look so authentuc. I fight ususally with my pin cruls for about 1,5 hours, brush out is another half na hour 😅
OK but pin curls are totally different haha. I can see why it takes a while, I've never been able to do pin curls. These rollers are super easy to use and I do it every day. My hair lasts all day but they drop significantly when I sleep (even if I wrap them in a silk scarf) so I reset them every night
I got it years ago ! The department store I got it at went out of business but The brand is Croscill. They don't make this design anymore (I don't remember the design name) but maybe they will bring out something similar? IDK I find this style of bedding really hard to find these days. They also sell this brand at Bed Bath and Beyond but not this design.
The word "basically" has lost all meaning
😂
Wow I can’t believe you set your hair every day! It always looks so good!
Thank you !! haha yeah I do ! It doesn't take that long haha
Omg! You're so adorable! You look so beautiful. I love your videos! I'll love if these trends were back! 💞

With no make up on and your hair straight you are still a beautiful young 👩🏻 woman. 😃☺️💖
