I have that exact same brass duck head cane from my parents which is quite old considering I'm 71. You found a real gem when you also found the duck handle shoe brush too.

I adore the grey dress and coat, the handbags are so lovely, especially the brown one. Everything is fabulous though, the jacket with the fur detail is def a stunner.

Those Sears catalog books are so delightful to leaf through. The little descriptions of the clothes pictured give a bit of information on the cut and fabric of the garments. They also hype the use of synthetic materials, which I guess weren’t that common at the time, which does crack me up a little since in today’s world it’s because increasingly harder to come across natural fibres. Great video as always, I enjoyed every second.

I enjoy having a "sneak peek" at the items in your haul, but maybe having the rack not front and center would make it less busy-looking? There are tons of beautiful pieces on Ebay ! You just have to do a little bit of digging, and use your imagination because the photos are usually... pretty bad lol
Haha yess it has a size zip! But it’s the shortest zipper ever so it doesn’t give much room for my shoulders to go through. It takes a bit of wiggling but once it’s on it looks great !
it could be! I have a few vintage and antique clothe brushes and the bristles are different. I wouldn't use this one on clothes, not even on a thick wool coat. I would use them for boots or suede shoes.
