- The Toronto Vintage Clothing Show is THIS weekend ! I'm excited, I have my cash in hand and I'm ready to shop! This is where I buy the bulk of my vintage clothing, I usually leave with a pretty big haul. I am trying to be more selective this year but I have a feeling I'll still come out with a few shopping bags. Over the past couple of weeks I've been doing some prep for the show, collaborating with the show runner and also vendors. So I thought I would take you guys along with me to show you some behind the scenes of what I've been up to in the weeks leading up to the show.
The Toronto Vintage Clothing show is Canadas largest sale of vintage clothing. here is all the info you need if you are interesting in attending the show:

Date: April 6th and April 7th
Time: Saturday 10am-6pm, Sunday 10am-5pm

♥ I just can’t tell you how much I enjoyed this video! All the amazing outfits & accessories! i have to many favourites to mention but The visit to the Drummond Studio, I could spend hours & hours there just to admire everything, then the vintage store! Sigh! 🥰 I live in a very isolated community so I really appreciate these videos & especially the shopping videos too & omg, I just can’t wait to see your Vintage Show video, vintage haul & all new outfits! My girls and I saw you today at the show, Caroline. But you walked away too quickly for me to catch you and say hi. In fact, my little girl was enraptured by your red outfit. She noticed you before I could see you. I'm always scared of getting makeup on vintage clothing, too! I may or may not have had an unfortunate incident involving a cream slip and bright red lipstick. 😬 Maybe you could get one of those mesh bags (like the ones in Japan) to put over your head so you can try on stuff without worry? At least for the Toronto Vintage Show stuff.

Thank you !! 😊 haha I made it with some flowers I found at the thrift store! They were in a bag with the craft supplies, there were tons of these flowers and i was able to make 5 different coloured brooches. The purple is my favourite tho its matches so many things
I do the same exact thing in regard to making a fast lap and then a slow lap! I always do that when I go to any kind of antique shows, estate sales, rummage sales, etc. I have a fear I'm going to miss something, and I need to scope everything out quickly first. I hope you have a great weekend at the vintage clothing show!

Incredible video. I'm so excited for the vintage show vlog. I would love to go but i don't live in the US. I would feel exactly the same. If i was at the show, i too would want to do a quick scoot around incase somebody saw something i could have bought. Sounds silly but i would have to do that first. Then my mind would settle down and i could then take my time and walk round feeling more relaxed.

Thank you !! I don't live in the USA either. I live in Toronto, Canada, thats where the vintage show is 😊 haha thats exactly what I do too, that first lap calms me down and I can enjoy the show a bit more !
@@CarePinglo I live in the UK. There are vintage shows here but not many people I know like vintage as much as I do. I can at least enjoy the vintage show from afar. Look forward to your next video.
@@nenawells3916 I know that you mean, You can still go to the vintage shows in the UK on your own tho ! 😊 Honestly I prefer to shop alone, I can take my time without feeling bad
@@CarePinglo I feel alittle vulnerable going by myself. I think it's abit of a confidence thing, if you know what I mean. I am trying to pluck up the courage to go to one by myself next month. You're right though. It is always better to go by yourself as like you said you can take you're time, which in the past was what I liked to do. I wouldn't like that feeling of being rushed by other people.

I would like to know more in detail which kind of fabrics were used and how they are sewed. Maybe you could show this in a video in more detail? I am sure, tgere is a lot of interest in the sewing community. Very nice vintage collection! ❤
Thank you ! I'm not sure I know that much about how items are sewed or the exact fabrics (other than me guessing as most don't have care labels). My sewing skills are very minimal so its not really a focus on my channel. I just wear vintage clothes haha. Sorry I know thats not very helpful 💕

do you plan on hanging up that vintage pennant flags banner thing in your room or something this spring/summer? i remember you posting it on your ig story and it was so amazing (looking for something similar for myself)! can’t wait for the vintage show video
I'm not sure tbh ! Its a beautiful pennant, I just don't know if there is an occasion where it would make sense for me to hang it. My birthday is in June so maybe ? I'll have to give it some thought.
I know this is all about the Toronto vintage show but have you done anything with that dollhouse of yours
I haven't done much yet tbh ! I've been looking for a bit a small table or something to lift it up a bit. It's currently sitting on carpet so its a bit of a pain to turn around to decorate. I really should do more work on it tho !
