Thanks for this vid! I was getting an exhaust cam sensor code and tested both sensors-intake was normal, but the exhaust didn’t change voltage at all. Hopefully a new one will get my car out of limp mode. :)
Excellent video! Thank you for your great informative videos guys! I've been subscribed to you for years now and I really appreciate the work you do and hope you have success in all you do!
Thanks for the video. I get error code 2a9a, aka P0341, Camshaft sensor A. I changed the sensor with a new one, checked the fuse, and finally performed this test. Fuse was not blown, and no connection/voltage issues. This helped me narrow down my potential issue.
Hi the sensor shows five volt and you touch screw driver it goes to zero. I would like to know that this sensor is good or it has to be replaced. Thanks. Fazalkhan from Pakistan
Hey Mate, I was wondering if you can help me where is the Fuse of the Camshaft position sensor located in a 2011 328i xDrive BMW? I saw your previous video showing the fuse on the right side white fuse box when you open the hood but mine isn't there. There's no fuse over there except one 40A the rest are big and in group of harnesses. I replaced my intake and exhaust Camshaft sensors to eliminate the Squeaking even though I replaced a new serpentine belt. There's still a little squeak so I figure out maybe it's the fuse or so but where can I find it? WHere is it located? THanks for your help. GOd bless!
Hello. I have a bmw n43 with stalling idle. No codes or engine starting problem. It happened after a long trip, i filled up with petrol and next day started to play up by misfiring. Changed with new spark plugs and new coils. Car runs fine now but that idle is driving me mad. It disappears when I put the AC on.
Long story short, can you guys confirm that getting anything more than 5v @ X6214/1 and/or x6224/1 means bad DME? I am getting battery voltage at both and don't see how this could be anything else.
Did you resolve your issue? I am still getting P0012 after changing the top one, embarrassed to say I only just found out there are 2 sensors!!! I read somewhere that the timing chain could be stretched, but let's not talk about that.

Hello I have 318i e90 lci 2009. I have obd2 code P13b4. I have rough idle . Do u think its because of this sensor?

Good to know. Thanks.

Hi
Is the yellow wire ‘open?’ Why did you just test the yellow wire and not all 3 wires? And where did you connect the other black ground wire?
Thx
Could this cause the car to shut off?
Can you tell me please, which sensors are that ones between the camshaft sensors? Please
That's the Vanos solenoids
How do you test the voltage on the wires if it's not cut open like yours?
