I have a 2006 bmw 325xi 6 cylinder I changed the coils and plugs I coulding get it to start so checked the codes and they came back P0013 B camshaft actuator open B1 and P0341 cam position sensorA circuit range 1 or single sensor can you please help me
I have a 2007 bmw 328i I bought with a crank no start issue previous owner said it needed a radiator and fuel pump so I installed it and tried to start it and it cranks but won’t start I checked to see if the fuel pump cuts on and it does I can hear it when I switch the ignition on . So it has power I went to check on cam shaft sensor I found no power on the wires and followed the wiring and seen there wasn’t a ground cable connected so I connected and got power back to the camshaft but now I lost power to the fuel pump since I connected the ground cable next to the windshield washer fluid . I’m pretty lost here don’t know what to do next please someone help .
You guys should know better than using electrical tape by itself. Why you say? Because it does not create a permanent what proof seal and the wire will corrode over time! Use liquid electrical tape or heat shrink on wires. You could use high quality electrical tape over the liquid electrical tape. Make sure to use liquid electrical tape so that you won't get corroded wire and have a no start in the future.

Is the voltage signal for n46 is the same because I guess I have a short then because I have 11.89V for the signal

The camshaft sensor on my car,does release 11.4v on a signal wire instead of 4.9v ,what could be the problem?
You are measuring the wrong one, one of them should be always 12v to make it work, the other should be 5v (signal), last one ground.
Mine has 12v.on both 1and 3
