    Well it's not trouble or drama teen it's bad parenthood in most of the cases because parents don't have the time or patience for their kids and definitely they don't teach them respect, morals and values because if they can't deal with them they just send them away... terrible. Problem, parents not being mature enough to properly guide their kids and this doesn't start when they are teens it's starts way before and they just think it's funny and they are just kids. Little kids controlling their parents seems the new normal.

    As a step father, what would anyone suggest that I do about a teen daughter making up lies about you? Some about her mother also. We try keep her from being alone with boys and this angers her to an extreme level...she then likes to lie about us to random friends of hers. Stressful situation

    • @razorhead2410

      I empathize with you. My own son hates me and is acting like a thug. Hes rebeling and lying constantly. He is involved in drugs and in a gang. His mother does nothing but turn him against me. My suggestion is to pray and turn all over to God. There is no easy answer

      @@razorhead2410 same thing going on with my son, he'll be 16 in june, smoking weed, in a gang i believe, failing in school n just got suspended for bringing a knife to school, he says he got jumped. His father and i both love n support him, n feel his behavior is unnecessary smh we can't understand why he's going down the wrong path 😥

      My husband and I were good parents. I was a stay at home mom. We raised our kids with boundaries and taught them about respect. We did not spoil our children. When the teenage years happened, they completely did a turn around and have made our lives miserable. I don’t know what more we could have done differently.

    • @sarahcouture24
      @sarahcouture24 Год назад

      @@crh251 it will pass, just allow them to separate and individuate. That’s a normal part of the process of growing up, you’re supposed to push your parents away and challenge authority. The point of raising kids is to create happy healthy adults, not to force children to be obedient and compliant, not to be high achievers or focus on success, because in adulthood they will likely be doormats or perfectionists, a miserable way to live. Try your best to tolerate their discovering who they are process. If there are severe problems or dysfunctional behaviors, maybe there’s something going on that you are unaware of or you don’t realize. But if that’s the case, ask a mental health professional, don’t send your child to an abusive thought reform program! 🙏🏻
