Just remember what the old teachers always said NVQ stands for not really qualified, do your time, practice and practice until you feel like your arms are dead and finally be patient you will learn by your mistakes

Such exactness!! Why is it then, that when some workers get out in the "field", some do lousy and horrible work. Some charge like it's the last job for the year, and it's only January.

Great video, just what I was looking for. Thinking to learn plastering and paint and decorating and just try and leave my job as a bus driver & be self employed for first time :))
Not sure if I picked the right trades for constant work tho?

Back boxes cut with huge gaps around so soon as sockets fitted it will brake skim around unit, it's no wonder new builds are totaly shit.. Time served or piss off

Plastering is a shit trade way way too much work very demanding and very messy not that much money to be made. unless you specialise in fibrous and lime plastering renovating churches and mansions restoring them to original build thats decent pay. but you can work in a office and earn more your lucky to earn 30k a year. for me i did a full time 1year course and never received even a level 1 for all that hard graft shifting 25kg bags of plaster upstairs plastering ceilings walls etc and for what nothing stay clear of plastering do a plumbers course or something hope I've put some people off plastering.
