The fact that our president claims the election as a fraud and doesn’t have acceptance is an absolute embarrassment. Mitt Romney handled this a whole lot mature and classier
I'm really nostalgic for 2012.... It was the last "normal" election before the trump virus came along and tried to cancel the election because the results pissed him off.
Almost three years later, I come back to this to be reminded of the solid leader and the good man that Americans passed on. Say what you will, trolls; I will not insult you. I just came here to say once again how much I wished this election has turned out differently. Cheers, Mr. Romney. I'd vote for you again if I could.

Kinda funny that the last 2 GOP presidential candidates were from Massachusetts and New York, and had their election night rallies in Boston and New York, two of the bluest cities in the country.
There are very few true Republicans left in this country, and Romney is one of them. It is extremely saddening to see that the vast majority of the party has fully embraced fascism.
I was so scared Romney was going to be President, I was literally afraid. The next day I was crying throughout the day because I was so happy Barack won and that flip flopping liar was gone for good. Anyone who believed Mitt was fit to lead the country really needs to do their research. He changed his views about much more than Obama ever did. I could never trust Mitt. The second I heard him say "federal ban of gay marriage" I had made my choice. How dare he say such a thing, equality is built into our culture and yet he would take his own beliefs and force them through federal bans?? Come on people... Wake up. I voted for Obama in 2008. It was my first election, I voted for the first African American President, and he won. It will always be a special part of my life.
I think they are both idiots in their own respect, but looking back at the last two years I think you should be more upset now by all of the lying and failed promises the Obama administration has brought about. You have been fooled son, and do not think for one second this nation will get better by the efforts of Obama, it will only get better by the strengths of Americans who seek to build a better place for themselves and family. Politicians these days are puppets, Obama or Romney would have made no difference, the only CHANGE your going to see is by the people!
Oh, OK. I just assumed you were gay because you got all Ass-Hurt about Romney wanting to ban gay marriage. I think gay marriage should be banned, or at least not paraded all over the place as it currently is.
mrExcellent101 I totally agree with your with regards to Gay Marriage. Gay marriage shouldn´t be paraded all over the world. Moreover I don´t consider it as a marriage.
You guys are idiots. It's not about what you "think" or what your damn beliefs believe are "right", it's about what this country was built on and that is equality. Has nothing to do with the church or religious beliefs, it's just wrong that two people of the same sex do not have the same rights as a man and a woman. And if you think that gay couples are all about sex and orgies... Then my god you are stupid. My friends brother is gay and I have known him most of my life. He is not some sex crazed lunatic. I am straight and I would tell you right to your face what I'm telling you on RUclips and be PROUD to do so. I feel sorry for the people who feel that denying rights to people is an OK thing to do.
Mitt Romney is a bad ass! He had so much more experience, knowledge of what it takes to create jobs and prosperity, and empathy than President Obama. Trump supporters think Romney didn't fight hard enough, that he didn't seem sorry enough for losing. That's because he's a mature adult, and kept it together emotionally. I aspire to be great like Mitt someday. I want to amass a ton of wealth and then turn around and help those less fortunate to rise up and fulfill their dreams as well.
why do people automatically assume that simply because someone has a lot of money, that they're jerks or doing something wrong? Money is good or bad depending on the person who owns it. Money is like bricks. you can throw a brick at a stained glass window and cause harm, or you can use the bricks to build a hospital or a house. i want to be in a position to support a family and help those who are less fortunate. earning lots of money is a great way to do that.
Daniel Casperson it's just disgusting that in your words you want to "amass a ton of wealth" , not enough to live comfortably, but a TON of wealth. It shows your priorities as a person. You don't want education, or experiences. You want wealth. A ton of it. It's very American in my opinion. Greedy and money oriented.
Haha you can think whatever you want. i see wealth as a means to an end. Money is power. power to do good in this case. being rich or poor doesn't make you virtuous. what you do with your talents, and means is what counts. curious, where are you from?
Daniel Casperson you miss the point. The Republican Party NEEDED a fighter. We needed someone who would be unabashedly patriotic, who brought common sense to bear for issues like trade and immigration, and someone who wouldn't pussyfoot around the issues for fear of violating some PC bullshit rules. Being passive gave many the impression that the GOP was antiquated. Look at where it is now. That said, I agree with many of your other points in this comment thread, and overall had a positive view of Romney, but I am thankful that Trump stepped up the way he did.
Lol. Except the race hasn't been officially declared. There is going to be a recount in GA (a full audit), and PA, MI, and WI currently have lawsuits that may force a full recount or possible revote. So no, it's not over by any means possible. But keep believing what you want.

Obama was nice, but Romney was a better candidate and would have been a better president. I'm not decromat nor republican, but I do swing votes from now and them (Didn't vote for Trump). It was unfortunate that Ronmey lost, it would have avoided Trump running in 2016.

So true
Possibly one of the most sincere Concession speeches ever made, it takes so much poise to deliver a speech with such respect for Obama not only encouraging the Nation to follow but to pray for him. Voted Obama, but so much respect for Romney.
Whether you like him or not, this is a very heartfelt speech that I think was written from a very honest place. He lost, but he went out in a very dignified and respectfully.
I'm loving how RUclips is shoving these past Concession speeches in our faces to remind us of how we'll NEVER get anything like them from Trump.

This was my favorite part of his campaign.

*I'M CAME WAIT FOR THE POTUS 45 LOSER SPEECH*
And now we have Obama plunging the world into chaos.
Well done.
Take notes Trump
Too late
This is the greatest contribution Mitt Romney has made to the country. I thank him for it.
Mitt Romney... Please run for President 2016!!
*****
ha ha - nice one :)
he didn't
Mitt Romney is a bad ass! He had so much more experience, knowledge of what it takes to create jobs and prosperity, and empathy than President Obama. Trump supporters think Romney didn't fight hard enough, that he didn't seem sorry enough for losing. That's because he's a mature adult, and kept it together emotionally. I aspire to be great like Mitt someday. I want to amass a ton of wealth and then turn around and help those less fortunate to rise up and fulfill their dreams as well.
Daniel Casperson "I want to amass a ton of wealth" ugh I know you mean well but that is a little obscene.
why do people automatically assume that simply because someone has a lot of money, that they're jerks or doing something wrong?
Mango Mussolini should take notes. This is how a concession speech should be done. Classy and humble.
Congrats to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris!!
Lol. Except the race hasn't been officially declared. There is going to be a recount in GA (a full audit), and PA, MI, and WI currently have lawsuits that may force a full recount or possible revote. So no, it's not over by any means possible. But keep believing what you want.
