And tonight, for the sake of our unity as a people and the strength of our democracy, I offer my concession. He's actually a good person but was surrounded by advisers who weren't and he himself made a few bad mistakes from the goodness of his heart. He created PEPFAR to fight AIDS in Africa. As of 2019, it has been credited with saving 13 millions African lives. Before Bush came into office, the US spent $1.4b in humanitarian and development aid in Africa. Within 1 year, Bush increased that figure to $5.6b. He made it easier for minorities and low income Americans to own houses because he believed it's part of the American dream. Sad knowing how dreadful a President W Bush was
He's actually a good person but was surrounded by advisers who weren't and he himself made a few bad mistakes from the goodness of his heart. (Note: This played a role in the 2008 housing crash. Clinton and republicans as well as democrats contributed as well. So did Alan Greenspan).
