Anna Brown was killed in May of ‘21
They made it look like Anna was just having too much fun

Who died shortly after William Hale made him a loan

Mollie was Anna’s sister and it sunk in after while

Ol’ Hickory Andrew Jackson drove ‘em down through Tennessee
From Ohio came the Osage the mountains, Cherokee
They left ‘em there to wither on that southern Kansas soil
But this was before the man discovered oil
If you come around here with pretty flowers to sow
You might stop and notice nobody’s very old
Grass grows so high it covers up the graves

They called him the King of the Osage Hills
He went and got everybody killed

This storytelling style is super affective in a world where we're all bombarded with so much online content. Charley's passion for this story is clear - it's a story that really needs to be told. The artwork is FANTASTIC too, really grabbing your attention. And the 'pinch hand technique is a EPIC way to keep you interested and focused.
And now the story is being heard thx to Martin Scorsese

Actually the story was told in a 2017 book of the same name written by David Grann. It’s an excellent book, well worth reading. The movie is based on that book.

This is so incredibly well done, all the way around!! The song telling a story so effectively - a real "parsimony" to the presentation - and mirrored by the wonderful artwork, presented in a way that evokes something of Escher (M.C. Escher) and leans on what's become common as a sort of "language" only *very* recently for "interaction" - the "pinch gesture"!
Incredibly harmonious across _all levels,_ IMO - a sort of _tour de force!_ Extremely pleasant effect, I absolutely love this music video!

@@maria_9540 There's a book titled "Killers of the flower moon" About a tribe of native americans (The Osage) that had gotten rich from oil on their land. Then it was organized and several were killed to take their wealth. It was made into a large scale movie last year.
