@@mikeloper100 you won’t be disappointed. Saw him live back in December in Durant, OK. It was by far the best show I’ve ever been to- that includes Turnpike Troubadours, Robert Earl Keen, Asleep at the Wheel, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Ryan Bingham, and a host of other great live performers. I felt like I was transported to a 1950’s country gold revue for 3 hours. Every single damn song was just incredible- you could feel the heart and soul pouring out of the band.
@@mikeloper100 used to listen to "country" in the early 00's and outgrew the sound. Always liked up to the 80's in the genre. CC is one of the only country artists I would buy tickets to see live

Me, too! I just heard about him this past Saturday, March 30, 2024. I can't stop! I just ordered this CD from his website!
After I saw his show at the Ryman on PBS (in SoCal) I bought 3 of his cds and can't stop listening to them at home and in my truck
Same. Aside from the likes of Johnny cash I’ve always been a rock and hip hop type but some of these country guys sound close to cashes vibe than what my mom used to listen to. If you haven’t checked out Dirt Miller and Hunter Root I can recommend them enough. Dirts a little on the edgier side with some great guitar and song writing. Hunter is great all around rarely misses
Check out a lot of Charlie's other stuff, he's not just country he's Rhythm he's Blues he's Rock he's so all blended into one. Country lately seems to be what's getting him to the top so I don't blame him one bit for getting his name out there by singing what he does best. But him and his group are great and cover a lot of different genres .

My wife and I drove down to Lubbock a couple of weeks ago and saw this band and I got to say they were the best band that I have seen in a long long time! They absolutely kicked major ass. The best sound in country music today, hands-down in my opinion And the entire band was wearing suits, and that’s just class! They are amazing. Don’t let them come by your area and not see them.
I drove 5 hours to Nashville for the Ryman show & what a show that was , looking forward to seeing Charley & The Blue Drifters again for the 3rd time in August can’t wait 👏🏻💙🎶Love Charley !! ❤️The Blue Drifters & The Greyhounds are great too !
Professional musicians are happy to brag about other musicians' good new records, but if you sound better live than in the studio that earns a reputation FAST. This is so clean...the band deserves every bit of credit for keeping it so tight. Reminds me of Waylon's band in the 70's

I love watching him perform. And...was the horn/keyboards player, playing both at same time? Sure looks like it. Charley is one of a kind. I bet if he still played with an open guitar case in front of him just as a reminder of back in the day, people would still fill it up even after buying tickets to see him. He's the best.

great tune, but compared to other performances of this tune this is kinda sloppy. and man that keys/trumpet player needs to practice more to properly develop the embouchure.

There are very few performers I’ve seen that provide the high level of showmanship, talent, entertainment and musical ability that Charley does. Billy Strings might be the only one beating him right now. Paul Cauthen puts on a hell of a show too. Charley and his band are extremely good, and you better be DAMN good if you’re going to follow his act.

Saw him in Grand Junction, and while the whole show was great, this song was the highlight for me.
