One of the first videos where a trainer working with professional athletes is actually good. Usually it’s just someone trying to get famous who clearly is using methods any trainer at a box gym has.
Great video. I’ve personally known and worked with Nevin for about 7 years and we’ve sent hundreds of pro pitchers to his clinic. You have to keep in mind the context - this is just a tiny glimpse at what CMC does. You’re not seeing the lifting, the manual therapy, the conditioning, the nutrition, etc.
Thank you for this glimpse of a comprehensive professional body plan. For those of us that dont know all of the components, where does something like this fit into a full plan?
This guy doesn't understand basic strength training concepts, focusing on squeezing is useless and mixing exercises like a lunge and unilateral press just makes for a crappy lunge and press.
How do you think elite players stay elite? You think they can go home and play on their xbox and eat dorritos? The more exercise you do, the more important maintaining proper mobility is to prevent injury.
@eaton24 it’d probably be easier for you just to say you have no idea what you’re talking about. Cmac likely came to this guy for issues with his back mobility. They worked on Thoracic, Cervical, and Lumbar mobility throughout the whole recovery workout. This guy is trained to the doctorate level and showed a ton of expertise with his cues. No ones saying this workout is the reason he’s an All-Pro. At the NFL level, the goal is to stay healthy and this accomplishes that.

💯💯💯
This great science and approach to working out. When you focus on these things this how you become a better athlete!
thanks for showing!!
Thanks for watching! 💪

What are the sets and reps like for this workout

McCaffrey would definitely have been the super bowl MVP had the Niners managed to pull off the win.
NFL could have never allowed it
Not in the script 🧐
They lost and that sucks but they have next year to compete again
Mahomes wouldn’t allow it
This reminds me a lot of the stuff we do at Iyengar Yoga. It looks easy but it is the opposite.
Definitely NOT easy!
CMC could of been a olympic athlete but football pays way more
He doesn't do any of this BS and never has... He has to be told every movement.

This guy is a chiropractor masquerading as some kind of guru/sports medicine doctor. This is nonsense and not the reason CMC is an elite player.

He actually paid him for this. lol.
100% bro total nonsense. You would have thought CMC was 4 weeks out of low back surgery.
