This channel is NOT JUST Salvage Rebuilds, this is professional people doing an amazing job..people in the motor trade could learn a lot from Chris and Rob..I’m old now and my years of working on cars has come to an end because of serious health conditions..this is a standard that everyone needs to adhere to in life..I’d never, ever, hesitate to buy a car from you guys as I know it would be better than factory..best repair channel on RUclips without question ❤️❤️
Very best wishes. Ged
Agree
Here here
I also agree. I am ex motor trade and Rob and Chris are professionals tackling incredibly intricate rebuilds and doing it to the highest possible standard.
Very well said and agree with you 100%
Chris's knowledge is priceless. He just eye's it up and knows exactly what to do.
Chris' ability to think his way through the most complex problems and plan a way forward is a great example to any young people watching. This is priceless! Thanks guys.
The only guys I'd buy a rebuilt car of in the UK, as they always do it correctly, great video guys.
Don't think I can say much more than has already been said. A thoroughly absorbing video, with both your fantastic knowledge bases and a great insight into the manufacture and rebuilding of vehicles.
Thank you, fellas!
I do worry for Rob's toes. Surely we can get some Nikes with steel toecaps.
Chris is astounding what he does, not forgetting what you do rob good double act
As usual absolute craftsmanship from Chris.
And this is why SR-UK is the best salvage channel on RUclips
The dedication of you guys is unreal
Kudos for printing the photos and using them for measurements 👍
How as this channel not won any awards for best rebuilds channel ! Every video just brilliant 👏 👌
This channel should be compulsory watching for any apprentice mechanic, the level of expertise and explanation is exemplary and so enjoyable to watch👍
We have never seen two guys professionally rebuild cars like you ,what a fantastic channel, already can't wait for the next guys, brilliant
Chris with his skills and that new lift/jig are awesome, thanks guys😊😊😊😊
Epic channel you guys give the public confidence in buying cat N & S vehicles from us lot! cheers.
Great work lads if only other people repairing cars could fix them like yous do we've all seen some shocking bad work done to cars at some stage
Best teachers for anyone wanting to work/repair their car. So good how you two explain things, a joy to follow. 👍
That New Ramp/Jig System is definitely earning its keep,Superb,Nice One Chaps👍😉💪
As always, amazing work from both of you. Great run with Porsche, BMW and this VW!
sometimes the cars you get look easy home garage stuff. but damn, some serious respect for the amount of work , time and effort needed for this one. well done chaps. you deserve every penny you make doing this.
Love watching the master at work ,what a team never fazed people lucky to buy from you two.👍👍👍
A repair wizard Chris a brilliant video lads👍
Chris is the man his knowledge is amazing 👍👍
Very interesting video that shows the amount of work and preparation that goes into a complex repair like this. Chris's knowledge and skill is so evident and he makes it look effortless which I know its not! Always feel I learn a lot about body repairs from watching these type of SRUK videos👍
Chris is amazing in he does, Rob is also amazing itself way he just gets things sorted. Great team lads.
Great video as always.
Just a tip from an ex fork lift driver, always put a piece of wood between the chain and fork blade. I've seen a few nasty accidents where the chain has slid off.
Chris is so calm and confident , he knows exactly what hes doing. what a star.
Hi Rob. I know we all rightfully respect Chris' skills but it really does take two to tango ! Well done both ! Thankyou
This video and the work on this vehicle show that there are still very high standards in the motor trade. No short cuts, incredibly accurate work, and all done to exacting standards. I no longer drive due to my health issues, but if I did, I would have no worries or concerns whatsoever buying a vehicle from these two gentlemen knowing the work to have been maticulously carried out. If RUclips offered awards for the best motor channel for car repairs, this would be top of the list.
Cheers, Bob
As usual fantastic content at times you make a good profit out of these cars but yourself and Chris deserve every penny not many guys could or would tackle these jobs big respect and thank you boys.
The stuff on measuring diagonals was really interesting, shows what a top guy Chris is, and you too Rob😅
That new bench must be an absolute game changer for you guys, looking forward to the rest of the videos on this one (not finished this vid yet) :)
Steaming through this one lads, what a great way to get dimensions correct and having a full salvage front for parts and reference points just brilliant 👏👏
Back in the Tiago I’m going to enjoy this series!!
I'm surprised chris don't still wear eye protection when drilling.
The amount of times the drills broke and fragments shot everywhere with me.
I would not risk it myself.
Top video guys.
I tell you what Rob, your the best dressed mechanic i have ever seen. White shoes and all
Brilliance I wouldn’t know were to start!!!!!
You have to credit Chris he's so methodical, he's a genius. The amount of damage is deceiving. But it'll be like brand new when you've finished, the very high standards you 2 work too is unbelievable.👍
What you 2 don’t know about cars is priceless. Can’t wait to see this finished
you two get a 👍everytime the work you both do is amazing every time
Moving chassis legs etc so much do you guys have to heat anything up to stop stress cracking?always wondered great vid as always 👍
I’m a metal worker by trade and I’m still in awe of your work skill level 👍🏻🏴
Yes they set standards high .
Top of there game
Both so talented, keep 'em coning guys!👍👍👍
My years doing jig work on the blackhawk and car-o-liner jig systems this new jig idea is amazing.
Same principle as the old systems the amount of knowledge needed for even attempting to do what Chris is doing is far above the average bodyshop man.
Takes a special few people to actually take jobs like this on.
A lot to do with it is measuring up the marker points and being confident that it's correct.
So when people who can do body repair work to that level a simple dent in a rear quarter doesn't real come close to the capability of the bloke.
Hats off to Chris it's not easy work it's more of a art than actual work.
But the hours involved in doing this job is madness hence why the vehicle is written off.
Keep up the teaching people what is really behind the scenes in the motor trade 👏 👌 👍
Like seeing Chris measuring with a tap measure, pen and paper. One could imagine Chris back in the day with a cigarette in his mouth, flicking ash inbetween measuring when everyone smoked.
Absolutely fantastic Rob and moving on very quickly especially with that salvage front end 👍🏻 Chris is just amazing 🤩 I could watch him for hours doing his magic 🪄
Chris looks even more clever in the office.
A real and interesting Salvage Rebuild project. Looking forward to follow the development.
“Good as new I’d say” made me laugh 🤣
Brilliant work as always
Brilliant job guys as always. I love how you go into great detail on the repairs. Wish everbody was like Rob and Chris give the trade a lot better name. Look forward to your next video guys.
Unbelievable quality of work chaps 👍🏻
You guys should have a TV show, you’d be brilliant!
Blimey that new jig made light work pulling that leg round.
Very Smart man is Chris
Amazing video guys, always love Chris's in-depth explanations of each stage of dismantling & reconstruction 👍
That machine is amazing enjoyed watching that pull
Brilliant video 📹 and workmanship as usual fellas Chris certainly knows his stuff, his knowledge and expertise is second to none .the new jig is very impressive and is earning its keep already 👌 another one i am looking forward to see finished. Take care and stay lucky and healthy 😊looking forward to Saturdays video 📹 already.
Chris is a Font of Knowledge and an absolute master of his trade. Amazing to see him get straight down and attack that build. Most people would've walked away from that car!!! 😎👍
Wow you 2 cracking this 1 out.that machine worth it's weight in gold.
Splendid work guys!! Still one of the best channels around (LOVE IT) 😇👌
Thank you so much 😀
That is one excellent video - hell of a job, but you can certainly see the progress taking place. Super fortunate getting that undamaged front end, unbelievable! Well done Chris and Rob.
The new jig is really paying off a lot more simple to get the car attached & work on Chris & Rob both make it look easy but I know it's not a tremendous amount of time & work has gone into this stage well done Rob & Chris can't wait for the next one 👍👍👍
Good video Guys. It’s great to see a car coming back from the dead.
Absolutely brilliant,
Bish bash wollop, lovely jubbly 👍🏼
Good to see Chris back doing his thing. Much better when both of you are working together on projects..
Another great video, you two work really hard and are a good team, that clock has said the same time for the last couple of years😜, Chris must be able to fix it👍
This is simply better than even classic Wheeler Dealers, though it would be fantastic if ye got an Ed China collaboration going at some stage in the future. No doubt Chris and Ed would easily speak each other's professional engineering language, both true professionals, plus he'd appreciate Rob's no nonsense, zero bs approach, especially compared to Mike's 👌
3.28 that smile shows a man who loves his work 🎉
hi guys i must said you do some very good jobs and do them right good to see
It is a pleasure to watch Chris at work, his commentary provides an insight how his thought process and analysis is developing as he works. His attention to detail and ensuring that each element in the repair process is carried out as it would be in factory conditions. Looking forward to the instalment. 👍🇬🇧😎
Chris is very experienced and his knowledge is priceless this is the best channel on RUclips in my option, The new jig is some peace of kit 👍 Another great video Rob and Chris 👍
Love how "don't know if you want to zoom in there, Rob..." means "Zoom in there, Rob".
Chris is absolutely out of this world in this episode. The things I'd do to have an hour to just pick his brains and chat.
Another amazing logical dismantling sequence, prior to replacing the chassis leg. The work involved cannot be understated . The sheer work involved removing the spot welds. Is it any wonder it will go to another video. Excellent video very well explained. You guys are true craftsmen your logical professional approach is a pleasure to watch.
Lots of respect for Chris, is there anything he can't do, he just eyes up the job, grabs it by the throat and shows it who's boss. Great video guys, keep em coming 👍💯
A lot of hard graft in this one lads. Great video as always. Thanks for the content
Great skilled work as always, and brilliant training videos. 👍👍👍👍👍
Can’t believe how bent that leg was , new jig is the nuts!!
Have been using the same cutting oil and agree it's very good. Smells nice too.
What a brilliant video Chris with his belt and brace checks and measurements and Rob striping the doner fabulous content well done guy's 👏

Not saying rob doesn’t know his stuff.
But Chris is a master at body work
Chris is so good at explaining
100% best channel on RUclips, both you guys are simply amazing and you’ve forgotten more than I know🤣
Proper engineering 👍
Wow! What a video. I’ve learned so much in this video and seen things I’ve never seen before. I didn’t realise there’s so much work involved in rectifying a crashed car that’s had this amount of damage.
Everyday’s a school day. 😊
Hope this one turns out as well as the others and you both get a decent payday out of this one. Thanks again
One of your best videos to date I think. That new Jig is certainly proving it's worth! As many others have said Chris's skills are priceless and I for one would consider it an honour to be able to buy a car he'd had a hand in repairing.
Absolute pleasure watching the pair of you work, I could watch all day!
thankyou gentlemen,,this is on another level, wow just brilliant content,💪👏👏
Amazing is there nothing you cant do. Im impressed
fell on your feet with that front end boys, helped with the alignment as well as the parts

For a non bodyshop guy it's fascinating to watch how Chris works repair a car. Great video as always.
Cracking episode as usual the new jig is certainly showing it's worth
