For the last 6 weeks I've only been eating herbs that friends have lent me . I'm living on borrowed thyme . sorry guys you started it lol
😂😂😂
I notice it’s all very late cars nowadays, I remember when I first started watching it was Fiesta and Fiat 500 City
The repairs cost a lot more than I expected.
As always, deserved profit 👍
What can I say lads, WOW, what a transformation from the mess it was in the beginning to being finished. Big fist bump for this one, well done 👏
You guys are epic and such a great job, joke was great at end 🤣 love it
Superb video guys, if you don't want to go over the 1000 miles , just take it for service on your trailer . 🙂
It never fails to amaze me. What a wonderful job you lads do with your skills and knowledge
Another great fix guys well done keep up the fantastic work oh and rob the jokes at the end really cracked me up so funny lol😂 keep them end jokes coming mate well done lads
Been in the trade for 29yr and never really bothered with crash damaged cars/Van's had no interest what so ever but I've been watching your videos and it's got me interested not that I'm gonna start doing it lol but I've more of an insight on what's involved in the bodywork side, I will stick to the oily work and leave the complicated stuff to you guys great videos keep them coming 👍👍👍👍👍
Someone’s going to have a lovely car , cracking job guys👍🏴
It must be really rewarding to take something in that was just minced and have it finished to that standard. Nicely done 👌
Catch phrases, wang it over has been right up there since the beginning, not heard it for a while, it deserves to live on.
Chris, Rob....just wanted to thank you for getting me on to Car Vertical.
We are in the process of buying a car. One of the cars we looked at looked like it was too good to be true. Did a Car Vertical on it and, lo and behold, the mileage had been tampered with.
Please, everyone, this check is worth its weight in gold: use Car Vertical and it could save you a world of pain. The peace of mind that comes with knowing your potential next car is not hiding anything untoward is priceless. Thanks again, fellas!
Hi Rob and Chris, what a result, under a thousand miles at that money...Will literally fly out the door as good as new...!! Excellent result all round.. Alex.
Yea, well done lads regardless of the profit you 2 thoroughly deserve every penny! Brilliant job
At the last video I posted that despite being a VW owner I had never seen a Taigo. Next day there was one identical to your example parked beside my ID3 in the hospital car park where I work. It did not look like it was descended from a Polo with a little three cylinder under the bonnet.
cracking job guys. You are worthy of a nice little earner out of it!
You can clear some of faults .by turning the steering wheel...with ignition on but not running....had an issue on tiguan....local dealer could not sort it....RAC...chap out. told us what to do... Boom sorted....
The last thing you need to do when you look at a damaged car is panic. Work at it piece by piece, deal with each item and crack on until it's done. Patience and perserverance bring success. And thanks for taking us with you on the test drive, I always enjoy them. Brilliant.
That is a lovely car and as new. I don't think many shops would have taken this one on and for what Copart were asking I think they would not have made a huge profit. You two always stick to your offer with Copart and they take it or leave it which I think is the best policy. As you say you make your profit on the purchase price. Once again Chris nailed his body work with the careful measuring for the chassis legs and no one would know now what a state that car was in when it arrived at your work shop. Top marks to both of you and you deserve all the profit you get. Thanks for the series on this one Rob and Chris and we will see you very soon. 👍👍
loved the vicar of dibley moment ending on a joke you have now opened the door to people sending you jokes to tell thanks for your channel and have a fantastic christmas
Cracking job at a great price.
A brand new second hand Taigo ready to be set free into the wild 🤗
Great repair once again lads.
This will fly out at £18k, less than a thousand miles and a service plan.
What a great job and profit, very well done Lads, cracking little car for someone 👍🇮🇪
No doubt about it……….that car is the Dogs Bollocks thanks to you guys 👍
Rob, that was fantastic best one yet.
Well done guys, a superb repair job worthy of any repair facility. And a decent profit too...now your motoring!! Cheers, Bob
You save the planet and I hope inspire others to look beyond just chucking stuff away. Thank you guys. Are we going to see Christmas jumpers? Asking for a friend at the North Pole.
Looks amazing chaps, yet another one saved from the scrappy! Top job as always.
Lovely job well done Rob and Chris ❤
What a cracking turnaround. I was wary when I bought my 2023 focus estate with the 1.0litre turbo 3 cylinder but in all honesty it goes like stink. Awesome job Rob, Chris.
To clear the window faults . Just wind the window all the way down keeping the button pressed or 3 seconds after it reaches the bottom then wind the window all the way up and hold for 3 seconds after it reaches the top . Thats for basic settings done
I really love you blokes, makes my day each time you put a video out, love the banter
Guys, I am speechless, looks incredible. You guys have knocked it out the park again. What a stunning car. You both deserve all the value and more. Loving the jokes.
Hello Rob and Chris, brilliant video on the VW Taigo,it looks so different now it has been repaired, after the valet it has made the car awesome.liked the joke at the end even I laughed 😂😂
You take on more and more seriously damaged stuff and really do such a great job on them !
Loved this one. Excellent work, Chris and Rob.
In the next one!!
2 geezers on the top deck of a double decker bus. First one sees a money spider running across the floor and quickly stands on it.
Other one says, ‘Oi, what you do that for, money spiders are supposed to be lucky’?!
First one says, ‘Well that one wasn’t!’
Great vid lads!
New lights or cameras looks very bright and clean
Very nice repair ... a nice car saved from the graveyard! Another beauty guys . Well done 👍
LOLOL, brilliant guys, many thanks for the vid, and the joke was great, thank you. I have watched all your vids, I have not seen jokes before the last one though... Best channel out there guys.
😂😂😂 brilliant joke rob,you two gell together so we'll,the little VW turned out so well, testimony to your skills, great profit, great car for someone, thanks for your hard work and putting it on screen for us all to enjoy, take care guys.😊
Well done guys, this is an incredible result.
This car looked to be beyond repair, you’ve made it look brand new again, like nothing ever happened❤.
Absolutely fantastic turn around top work guys plus great joke at the end 😂😂😂
No joke beats "back door slamming"
At a guess, window basic settings are to do with one touch control, have window at its lowest point and hold down the button for 10 seconds in the down position and then pull up button and when window goes to the top do the same, then motors will know when are where the glass is.
Windows need to learn the up and down stops. Pull and hold the window switches to the top stop and hold for 4 secs and reply at the down stop.
Yes correct 👍
Wish I had mates like you two . Top lads 👍
Basic window settings. Had this myself. May have been commented on. My mirrors wouldnt fold in holding the lock button on remote. Put all windows down using switches on drivers door. Put all up on same switches. Lock unlock and then check for codes.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love the top quality repair you know your stuff brilliant top class repair good on you lads
Every time Rob walked near the the bumper i had visions of the bumper been knocked down and damaged. What a beautiful car great job lads.
As a brilliant thing, the car charger are putting it in that box and letting it charge your phone, but do not under any circumstances leave their permanently on a long journey. It virtually cooked the phone. I left mine in my Vw golf mk8 on a long journey, barely touch it when I pulled up at the end of the journey and apparently it’s quite common. It just charges constantly. It doesn’t stop when it’s fully charged. I did make enquiries at the main dealer. Very nice car nice car for someone to get a cheap one. Great job all the best
I know the cars you rebuild are done to factory specs and you take pride in doing an excellent job, but I do wonder if cars that are rebuilt from crash damage such as this, and all the others you do, don’t have to go through a thorough inspection by an engineer? Who knows how good, or bad, a repair is done?
Good profit fellas on a class wee build. That joke was unreal on the last video
Lots of parts lots of work but a lovely result , Rob trying to be Micky Flanagan ?
Hi Rob and Chris brilliant video again the motor looks fantastic you guys have done a fantastic job of it love the joke and the way you told it keep them coming and keep up with the brilliant work and videos Bernard
A cracking job there guys.
Before and after and a test drive too.
One of your best video's.
Keep 'em coming.
Well well all of the doutersthat were saying scrap it its far to damaged.well.how wrong were they.what a superb job again Rob and Chris..👍🏻
Nice car guys what a great rebuild
Rob, you & Chris have done it again - a lovely motor for someone.
Great work looks brilliant
Hi Rob and Chris really enjoyed the video’s on this VW and can’t believe a parrot took out a golden eagle 🦅 😂😂 keep up the good work.
Another job well done guys 👏🏻👏🏻
Wwindows all the way down and back up to clear the window errors
Hi rob and Chris, great job on the wee car, all I can say is brilliant, from marty in Belfast northern Ireland God bless
Outstanding job guys! What a lovely almost new car for a lucky punter 👌
In any other world, that would be called a full restoration. Bravo! Top quality, that.
Cracking build lads, cracking car keep up the good work.... parrot made me chuckle
Well done , that's a bargain . i also like your wood burner 😉
Brilliant as ever chaps!
Wow, what a transformation! You guys did an amazing job on this little Taigo. It looks like a brand new car and I love the color. 👍
It may have already been said, but the no basic settings on the windows I believe are that the car no longer knew what position the regulators were in. Dropping the windows and holding the switch up will recalibrate it and allow it to clear. Just a little tip that might help you out. 😉
Another great video from you fellas. You rock boys and make my day when you release a new episode. I always look forward to seeing your progress and your banter. Keep up the good work and stay safe. Cheers! 🍻
The window DTC may be that it needs to learn its up and down stops. Run the window all the way up and down, see if the DTC goes away.
Great video guys. Like the location of the camera for the first drive, gives a great view.
🤣🤣🤣 Loved that one Rob!, great content as usual guy's, fantastic quality repair there as always! 👌👌
Absolutely fantastic job a great transformation ❤ well done yet again 😊
You should raffle the Tiago , great little car now. Fantastic job.
You two always come back with a car/van that’s better than new, but you are always prepared to sell it for peanuts compared to what you would pay at a dealers! Time for a pay rise guys, you deserve it. Best wishes from Topical Queensland Australia.
I’m all for fixing stuff as long as it’s done properly by people who care about what they do, there’s far to much stuff chucked away so this is good for the investment to in my opinion.. good on you fellas nice job 👍
Mat Armstrong must love your channel too, "brand new secondhand" hoodies available now 🤔
Nice one guys the old jokes are always the best
We all watch an enjoy the vids yet only 10% press like? What the hay people?
Excellent as always from you both Rob an Chris 👍

William Shakespeare walked into a pub in Stratford upon Avon. The landlord shouted. Get out. Your bard.!!!!!😅
Lads another fantastic build a lovely little car and by the way I am still crying 😂😂 I had to take my coat off for that one.....brilliant rob 😂😂😂
That was a great little project with a ton of parts to find and fit! Should sell quick and turned out beautiful ! 🇨🇦👍
Windows just need their travel limits resetting for one touch auto up/down. Hold the switch down and keep holding for a few seconds, same with up.
Good job Chris and rob excellent vlog 👍👍👍

Brilliant work!! Amazing transformation!!! It is a lovely car!! Hope all is well, take care
Brilliant Job! Some before and After on this one. 👏 Love the joke at the end.
Excellent, but from the numbers quoted it is easy to see why it was an insurance write-off. Well done, lovely result and someone is going to collect a lovely vehicle.
